Abstract

 一般式(1)で表されるアントラセン化合物を含有する発光素子材料により、高効率かつ耐久性に優れた発光素子を可能にする発光素子材料、およびこれを用いた発光素子を提供すること。 (R1~R16はそれぞれ同じでも異なっていてもよく、水素、アルキル基、シクロアルキル基、複素環基、アルコキシ基、アルキルチオ基、アリール基、ヘテロアリール基、アミノ基、シリル基および隣接置換基との間に形成される環構造からなる群より選ばれる。但し、R9~R16のうちいずれか1つはAとの連結に用いられる。R17~R20はそれぞれ同じでも異なっていてもよく、水素、アルキル基、シクロアルキル基、複素環基、アルコキシ基、アルキルチオ基、アリール基、ヘテロアリール基、アミノ基およびシリル基からなる群より選ばれる。R21は水素、直鎖アルキル基、シクロアルキル基、複素環基、アルコキシ基、アルキルチオ基、アリール基、ヘテロアリール基、アミノ基、シリル基および隣接置換基との間に形成される環構造からなる群より選ばれる。Aはアリーレン基を表す。nは1または2である。Xは酸素原子または硫黄原子である。)
