Se provee un compuesto de organoazufre que contiene flúor con un excelente efecto de control sobre plagas de artrópodos representado por la fórmula (I) (ver fórmula I) en donde m representa o ó 1; n representa 0, 1 ó 2; A representa un grupo heterocíclico aromático de 5 miembros opcionalmente sustituido; R1 y R3, de modo independiente, representan un grupo hidrocarbonado de cadena C1-C4 opcionalmente sustituido, -C(=G)R5, ciano, halógeno hidrógeno; R2 y R4 representan, de modo independiente, un grupo hidrocarbonado de cadena C1-C4 opcionalmente sustituido, halógeno o hidrógeno; Q representa un grupo haloalquilo de C1-C5 que contiene al menos un flúor o flúor; G representa oxígeno o azufre; y R5 representa alquilo de CiC4 opcionalmente sustituido, hidroxilo, alcoxi de C1-C4 opcionalmente sustituido, alqueniloxi de C3-C6 opcionalmente sustituido, alquiniloxi de C3-C6 opcionalmente sustituido, amino, alquilamino de C1-C4 opcionalmente sustituido, di(alquil de C1-C4)amino opcionalmente sustituido, amino cíclico de C2-C5 o hidrógeno.
