Definitions
- the invention relates to a support structure for a mattress with a supporting base element arranged thereon, a flexible sheath having, sealed container which is filled with a fluid.
- Mattresses are upholstery, which is placed on a usually designed as a slatted base to allow a person a comfortable lying and sleeping.
- the present invention relates to the pad of the mattress.
- the waterbed has some inherent drawbacks, there have been some efforts and constructive approaches in the past to mimic the reclining comfort of a waterbed by other means while avoiding these drawbacks.
- a ball gel exhibiting and thus adaptive surface storage is known as a mattress.
- each support member having a piston which acts on a common elements all support elements, pressure-receiving and -übertragendes medium.
- a slatted base is known from EP 0 038 155 B1, in which the slats rest at their outer ends on a common, pressurized, flexible hose which is arranged in a trough of the slatted frame.
- a pneumatic, resilient surface bearing is known, which is integrated in particular in the side rails of a subframe and further comprises a filled with a non-compressible medium, deformable container, rest on the small-area support elements.
- the deformation of the container is allowed by several side walls targeted in one direction to the lifting movement of the support elements, obstructed in the other directions by the side walls, so as to cause a significant upward lifting movement of the other, ie less to no load bearing support elements.
- the support elements cause a strong change in shape of the container due to their design.
- the construction is very bulky due to the multiple side walls and can be attached only laterally to a frame.
- this device is expensive and expensive to manufacture and can be difficult to adapt later, for example, to set a desired target sensation specifically. An attachment in the transverse direction to the lying direction is practically not feasible.
- the present invention seeks to provide a support structure for a mattress or a slatted frame with improved comfort, which is inexpensive and easy to manufacture. This object is achieved by the reproduced in claim 1 mattress.
- An advantageous arrangement in this sense from the mattress and slatted frame is the subject of claim 15.
- Claim 16 relates to an advantageous manufacturing method.
- mattresses are generally cushions that are placed on the underlay according to the invention in order to enable a person to comfortably lie down and sleep.
- the invention is not limited with regard to the mattress.
- it may be, for example, a foam core, innerspring, latex core, natural fiber filled, viscoelastic mattress, or even a gel mattress.
- the support structure comprises a supporting base element and a sealed container having a flexible sheath and being filled with a fluid, ie a gas or a liquid.
- a fluid ie a gas or a liquid.
- at least one supported on the shell, preferably flat, support element intended for the mattress is a plate-shaped support element, the top of which rests in a proper configuration of the support structure in a configuration on the underside of the mattress.
- the support structure according to the invention is characterized in that the support element is fastened by means of a guided past the envelope of the container holding member to the supporting base member so that the support member resiliently supported on the shell.
- This means that the support element is guided by the attachment by means of the holding element so that it performs its mostly perpendicular to the mattress lifting movement under yielding support in combination with the resilient attachment to the container in a load-dependent manner.
- the holding element ensures a largely flexible pivotability of the support element relative to the supporting base element in order to allow an improved contour adaptation of the support element to the mattress or the person lying thereon.
- the lying characteristics ie the conditions for achieving a desired lying sensation
- the lying characteristics can be easily influenced, for example, by selecting and exchanging the shape and material used of the aforementioned elements in such a way that the desired lying sensation is established.
- a damping with the replacement of the retaining element which consists of a different material or has a different shape, be easily influenced, without, for example, the filling of the container must be replaced or a complex redesign must be done to cooperate to change between container and support element.
- the retaining element is designed resiliently. It follows that the restoring action is essentially determined by the retaining element. This has the advantage that the container and the fluid contained therein has a damping function in the first place, which is comparatively easy to implement by selecting a suitable fluid. Consequently, as in the prior art, no special deformation of the container is required to obtain a suitable combination of resilient and damping action. In addition, essentially the holding element determines the upward return speed of the support element in its rest position, for example, unloaded position, without this movement being damped by the container, since the support element is supported only on the shell and thus rests loosely.
- the suspension property can be easily adapted, for example, to the weight of the person lying on the mattress. This is done for example by using a different material and a different shape of the holding element. If several support elements are provided, which will usually be the case, the adjustment can be made area-dependent.
- the load-bearing base element is a crossbar extending transversely to the lying direction of a slatted frame.
- the fluid is a gel, preferably liquid, while viscous gel. Its viscosity thus significantly above that of water, and therefore its flow behavior particularly dampening acts on the lifting movement of the support element.
- the gel is generally an easily deformable gas rich in liquids preferred, dispersed system of at least two components, which usually consists of a solid, colloid-divided substance with long or highly branched particles and a liquid (usually Water) as a dispersant.
- the solid substance is coherent, ie it forms a spatial network in the dispersion medium, wherein the particles adhere to one another at different points by secondary or major valences.
- Gelated for use in pressure-distributing elements are known and especially described on the basis of polyvinyl chloride, polyorganosiloxanes and polyurethanes, ie reaction products of polyols and polyisocyanates. Gel masses based on polyurethanes have proved to be particularly advantageous for the specific adaptation of the properties to the respective degree of stress.
- the shell is formed by a surface-near layer hardening of the gel.
- the gel may generally be a fluid, such as water, gas with solid, soft, small parts of, for example, foam.
- the container is a hose, and there are several provided on the shell of the hose supporting support elements.
- the hose consists of a material common to waterbeds. The thickness of the material of the load is chosen according to the expert. The material of the sheath is transparent or at least translucent in a preferred embodiment in order to easily control the level. The displacement of the fluid caused when the support element is loaded acts in one embodiment on the other support elements in such a way that their return is supported, if necessary accelerated.
- the container has a valve for filling and emptying in order to be able to adapt the properties of the container, for example its damping property, by changing the fill level or replacing the fluid.
- the holding element engages around the container.
- a spatial security is achieved in at least one spatial direction of the container, ie the otherwise necessary free mobility of the container is limited to a necessary for the function measure by the holding element in the respective spatial direction.
- the spatial security is transverse to the longitudinal direction of the bar.
- the holding element is formed in a further advantageous embodiment substantially elliptical and is preferably with its small semi-axis perpendicular to the supporting base element. As a result, a resilient element is realized particularly easily.
- the container is preferably surrounded in the interior of the ellipse-shaped holding element and is thus arranged in the elliptical through-hole, caused by the load shortening of the semi-minor axis provides for an extension of the major axis and gives room for the under load this direction propagating or expanding envelope, so as not to affect, for example, the attenuation.
- support element and retaining element preferably made of a plastic.
- a further preferred embodiment provides that the holding element with the support element and / or the holding element are connected to the supporting base member by means of clip fastening, thereby the replacement and thus optionally the individual adaptation of the construction to the user can be facilitated and advantageous, if necessary, by itself respectively.
- the sheath is elastically configured to cause a resiliently restoring force on the support element through the shell at a bulging or under pressure by the container under pressure and a non-compressible fluid.
- the shell is supported only by the base member, and the position of the shell is secured by the retaining elements.
- the invention relates to a slatted frame or a mattress having the support structure in one of the embodiments described above and with the advantages associated therewith. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for producing the aforementioned slatted base, wherein a plurality of supporting base element, such as slats are attached to a frame, arranged on the base a fluid-filled container on the base member and is secured with a plurality of retaining elements and on the holding element in each case a support element is attached.
- a plurality of supporting base element such as slats are attached to a frame, arranged on the base a fluid-filled container on the base member and is secured with a plurality of retaining elements and on the holding element in each case a support element is attached.
- Fig. 1 schematically - a plan view of this embodiment
- FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view, taken transversely to the longitudinal direction, of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1; FIG.
- Fig. 3 is a longitudinal sectional view of the embodiment shown in Figure 1.
- FIG. 1 shows a top view of a slatted frame according to the invention, ie the side is shown on which a mattress, not shown, would come to rest.
- a filled with a liquid, viscous gel, closed tube 1 a extends over approximately the entire length of the bar and lies down on the crossbar.
- several flat, rectangular support elements 2 are based. These support elements 2 are fastened to the lath 5 by means of concealed retaining elements 4 in this illustration.
- FIG. 4 is intended to clarify the mode of operation of the construction in the adaptation of contours to a recumbent person 6. For the sake of clarity, no mattress is shown which would otherwise be located between the support elements 2, 2 ', 2 "and the person 6. It is shown how the support elements 2, 2', 2" are lowered relative to the frame 3 depending on load.
- the tube 1 a, or the gel covers 1. Since the support element 2, 2 ', 2 "thus supported on the shell of the tube and the gel 1, there is a damping effect This is achieved, for example, by the choice of material and / or fastening of the retaining element, which is provided with a slat of the frame via the fastening region 7 of the retaining element 4, 4 ', 4 " 3 clipped.
