Abstract

 本発明は、架橋特性に優れた新規なエチレン・α-オレフィン共重合体;低比重で圧縮永久歪み(CS)が小さい発泡成形体およびこれを製造し得る組成物、発泡成形体からなる履物用部品;耐候性と機械的強度のバランスに優れたエチレン系共重合体組成物、ならびにこれを用いた電線被覆材および電線用シース;機械的強度と靭性のバランスに優れた成形体を製造しうる熱可塑性エラストマーを提供することを課題としている。 本発明のエチレン系共重合体(A)は、エチレンと、炭素数3~20のα-オレフィンとのみからなる共重合体であって、(a)赤外線吸収測定により求められる炭素数1000個あたりのビニル基含量、(b)MFR10/MFR2.16および(c)密度が特定範囲であることを特徴としている。
