Abstract

内燃機関の吸気マニホルド(M)を構成する2以上の分割体(P1~P3)のうちの第1分割体(P1)に、スロットル弁装置(4)が接続されるスロットル側フランジ(22)と、吸気ポート(5)が設けられたシリンダヘッド(2)に接続されるヘッド側フランジ(40)とが一体成形される。第1分割体(P1)には、吸気通路(10)の入口通路(11)の少なくとも一部を形成すると共にスロットル側フランジ(22)を有する入口部(21)が一体成形される。ヘッド側フランジ(40)は、入口部(21)に一体成形されると共に入口通路(11)と交差する方向に延びる延長部(42)を有する。ヘッド側フランジ(40)をシリンダヘッド(2)に接続する1対のボルト(451,452)が入口通路(11)を挟んで配置される。かかる構造により、ヘッド側フランジ自体の剛性と、ヘッド側フランジのシリンダヘッドへの固定手段による接続とにより、スロットル側フランジに接続されるスロットル弁装置に対する振動低減効果が向上する。
