Abstract

【課題】ＥＧＲガスの過冷却を回避しつつ、ＥＧＲパイプの通路長を極力減らし、併せて排ガス還流通路部材の周辺部の熱害を抑制すること。 【解決手段】エンジン本体１００の気筒配列方向Ａの一方のエンジン本体端部に、吸気側エンジン本体側面２１と排気側エンジン本体側面２３とを結ぶ方向に延在するオーバハング部１０１があり、ＥＧＲパイプ４１を、オーバハング部１０１の下方空間部１０２に、エンジン本体端部との間に空隙１０３を存した状態で配設する。
