Abstract

【課題】EGRガスの過冷却を回避しつつ、EGRパイプの通路長を極力減らし、併せて排ガス還流通路部材の周辺部の熱害を抑制すること。 【解決手段】エンジン本体100の気筒配列方向Aの一方のエンジン本体端部に、吸気側エンジン本体側面21と排気側エンジン本体側面23とを結ぶ方向に延在するオーバハング部101があり、EGRパイプ41を、オーバハング部101の下方空間部102に、エンジン本体端部との間に空隙103を存した状態で配設する。
