Abstract

 複数の燃焼室16に対して排気ポート18を介して排気通路20の一端部を連通し、この排気通路20の他端部に集合部22を設け、この集合部22にターボ過給機45、排気管46、排気浄化触媒47を連結する一方、排気通路20からターボ過給機45を迂回して排気管46から排気浄化触媒47に連通するバイパス通路52を設けると共に、このバイパス通路52を開閉可能な排気制御弁53を設けて構成し、シリンダヘッド11の内部にバイパス通路52の一部となるバイパス孔62を設ける。内燃機関のシリンダヘッドにおいて、触媒暖機性能を向上させると共に装置のコンパクト化を図る。
