Abstract

 開示されているのは、支持体、及び、該支持体上に形成され、染料前駆体含有複合微粒子と顕色剤を含有する感熱記録層を備えている感熱記録体であって、染料前駆体含有複合微粒子が、多価イソシアネート化合物含有重合成分を含む溶媒中に染料前駆体を含有する溶質を溶解し、得られた溶液を水性媒体中に乳化分散した後、分子量200~1500のポリエチレンイミンの存在下で多価イソシアネート化合物含有重合成分の高分子化反応を行って得られた複合微粒子であることを特徴とする感熱記録体及びその製造方法である。
