Abstract
本発明により、動作電圧が高く、電流-電圧非直線抵抗特性に優れたZnOバリスター粉末を得る。本発明のZnOバリスター粉末は、酸化亜鉛(ZnO)を主成分とし、副成分として少なくともビスマス(Bi)、コバルト(Co)、マンガン(Mn)、アンチモン(Sb)、ニッケル(Ni)、アルミニウム(Al)をそれぞれBi2O3、Co2O3、MnO、Sb2O3、NiO、Al3+に換算して、Bi2O3を0.3~1.5mol%、Co2O3を0.3~2.0mol%、MnOを0.3~3mol%、Sb2O3を0.5~4mol%、NiOを0.5~4mol%、Al3+を0.0005~0.02mol%含む。ZnOの含有量が90mol%以上、かさ密度が2.5g/cc以上、粒度分布における50%粒径が20μm~120μmの球状粉末であることが望ましい。
