Abstract

 本発明は2種以上の液晶化合物を混合してなる液晶組成物の製造において、少なくとも1種の融点が40°Cより大きい2種以上の液晶化合物を、撹拌又は超音波照射開始時の温度が40°C以下で撹拌又は超音波照射し、外部より加熱することなく行う液晶組成物の製造方法を提供する。本発明の製造方法は、減圧装置、加熱装置等の大がかりな設備を要することなく、信頼性の高い高品位の液晶組成物を製造することが可能である。よって、高い信頼性が求められている液晶組成物の製造に非常に実用的である。
