Definitions
- the present invention relates to an electronic thermometer that predicts an equilibrium temperature from a detected temperature.
- an electronic thermometer detects a body temperature with a temperature sensor, processes a detection signal of the temperature sensor, and displays the measured temperature. Immediately after the start of measurement, there is a temperature difference between the temperature of the temperature sensor and the body temperature, so it takes time for the temperature sensor to reach thermal equilibrium with the measurement site.
- the equilibrium temperature in the thermal equilibrium state is predicted from the change in the actually measured temperature, and the predicted temperature is sequentially updated and displayed to shorten the measurement time.
- Patent Document 1 JP-A 62-190427
- FIG. 12 is a diagram for explaining display switching from the predicted temperature to the actually measured temperature.
- the curve indicated by the solid line in Fig. 12 (a) shows the change over time in the measured temperature detected by the temperature sensor.
- the predicted temperature of the equilibrium temperature can be obtained by, for example, extracting a predetermined number of values from the measured temperature force. Can be calculated by applying to the prediction formula.
- FIG. 13 is a diagram for explaining the display state when the predicted temperature is predicted to be significantly higher than the actual body temperature.
- Fig. 13 (a) if the predicted temperature is predicted to be significantly higher than the actual body temperature, and the measured temperature does not reach the predetermined range, the timer will not start timing (Fig. 13 (b)) After the predicted temperature is displayed at time tl, the predicted temperature display is maintained (Fig. 13 (c), (d)), and the measured temperature is not displayed. In FIG. 13 (d), the solid line shows the predicted temperature display, and the broken line shows the measured temperature display.
- FIG. 14 is a diagram for explaining the display state when the predicted temperature is predicted to be significantly lower than the actual body temperature.
- FIG. 14 (a) when the predicted temperature is predicted to be significantly lower than the actual body temperature, the timer starts timing at a time earlier than the originally scheduled time (time t2). The time is measured before the measured temperature reaches equilibrium (time t3), and the display is switched from the predicted temperature to the measured temperature (Fig. 14 (c)).
- Figure 14 (d) shows the change in the displayed value, and the predicted temperature display
- the displayed value fluctuates by the difference between the predicted temperature and the measured temperature. Since the equilibrium state has not been reached, the measured temperature varies even after the temperature is switched, and the displayed value also varies according to the measured temperature.
- the broken line shows the predicted temperature display
- the solid line shows the measured temperature display.
- the timer will be reset by making an erroneous determination that it is not stable, even though it has been determined that the thermal equilibrium state is once established. . In such a case, it is judged that the thermal equilibrium state has been reached, but it is not stable, and the user is forced to perform measurement for longer than necessary.
- an electronic thermometer that determines display switching to the predicted temperature force measured temperature based on the difference value between the measured temperature and the predicted temperature has a problem that the determination of display switching is unstable. There is a problem that the temperature display fluctuates greatly after the display is switched.
- the present invention aims to solve the conventional problem, to stably judge the display switching from the predicted temperature to the measured temperature !, and to reduce the fluctuation of the temperature display after the display switching. And. It is another object of the present invention to configure display switching with a simple circuit.
- An electronic thermometer includes a temperature detection unit that detects a temperature of a measurement site, a prediction unit that predicts an equilibrium temperature using the temperature detected by the temperature detection unit, and a temperature display unit. Temperature display means.
- the temperature display means switches the temperature displayed on the temperature display section to the display of the predicted temperature based on the equilibrium temperature predicted by the prediction means, and the actual temperature detected by the temperature detection means. This switching of the temperature display is performed based on the peak state of the temperature detected by the temperature detecting means. More specifically, when the rate of increase in the peak hold value of the detected temperature is below a predetermined value, the display of the temperature display unit is switched from the predicted temperature to the measured temperature.
- the peak hold value of the detected temperature and the actually measured temperature at that time are the same temperature, so the predicted temperature force is also switched to the actually measured temperature based on the rising state of the peak hold value of the detected temperature. This makes it possible to stabilize the display switching from the predicted temperature to the actually measured temperature, and to reduce the fluctuation of the temperature display after the display switching.
- the determination of display switching can be configured with a simple circuit.
- the electronic thermometer of the present invention includes a temperature detection means for detecting the temperature of the measurement site, a maximum temperature value storage means for storing the maximum temperature value of the detected temperature, and an equilibrium using the detected temperature. Predicting means for predicting temperature and temperature display means having a temperature display section are provided.
- the temperature display means displays the display of the temperature display unit based on the updated state of the maximum temperature value stored in the maximum temperature value storage means, and displays the equilibrium temperature predicted by the prediction means.
- Maximum temperature value storage means Switches to the display of the maximum temperature value stored in.
- the temperature display means stores the maximum temperature value storage means from the display of the equilibrium temperature predicted by the prediction means when the maximum temperature value stored in the maximum temperature value storage means does not change for a predetermined time. Switch the display of the temperature display to display the maximum temperature value.
- the temperature detecting means detects the temperature of the measurement site using a commonly used temperature sensor or the like.
- the maximum temperature value storage means sequentially updates and stores the maximum temperature value at the temperature detected by the temperature detection means. If a new maximum temperature value is detected in the detected temperature over time, the stored maximum temperature value is updated. In addition, even after the maximum temperature value is stored, even if the detected temperature drops, the maximum temperature value is not updated and is retained. Therefore, the maximum temperature value stored in the maximum temperature value storage means is the same as that measured. This is the maximum value obtained up to that time. The maximum temperature value obtained at the time of the measurement is the value closest to the temperature reached in the thermal equilibrium state obtained by the measurement at the measurement site.
- the electronic thermometer according to the present invention switches the display of the temperature display unit from the display of the equilibrium temperature predicted by the prediction means to the display of the maximum temperature value stored in the maximum temperature value storage means.
- the maximum temperature storage means does not update the maximum temperature value even when the actually measured temperature decreases due to the temperature detection means being separated from the measurement site force or the like. Therefore, according to the electronic thermometer of the present invention, the maximum temperature value is maintained even when the actually measured temperature is lowered, so that the user is not forced to measure temperature for a longer time than necessary.
- the maximum temperature is the actually measured temperature. Change the display of the temperature display from the display of the equilibrium temperature predicted by the prediction means to the display of the measured temperature, instead of the difference between the measured temperature and the predicted temperature, the rate of increase of the measured temperature, etc.
- the circuit configuration is simplified by using only the measured temperature.
- whether or not the maximum temperature value has changed for a predetermined time can be determined by a simple process of simply comparing the values stored in the maximum temperature value storage means. It is possible to eliminate the circuit configuration required for calculations such as obtaining the difference between the temperature and the predicted temperature and the rate of increase in the measured temperature.
- the maximum temperature value storage means stores two old and new maximum temperature values across a predetermined time
- the thermal equilibrium determination unit stores the new maximum temperature stored in the maximum temperature value storage means.
- the equilibrium temperature predicted by the prediction means is determined by determining whether or not the temperature is within the temperature range determined by the old maximum temperature value before the predetermined time and the temperature value obtained by adding the predetermined temperature to the old maximum temperature value. Determine whether to switch the display of the temperature display from the display to the display of the measured temperature.
- the electronic thermometer according to the present invention has an increase in the peak hold value of the temperature detected by the temperature detection means by switching the display of the temperature display section to the display of the equilibrium temperature predicted by the prediction means. By performing based on the status, it is possible to stabilize the judgment of switching the display from the predicted temperature to the measured temperature, to reduce the fluctuation of the temperature display after switching the display, and to detect the peak hold value of the detected temperature Since it can be configured with a simple peak hold circuit, the determination of display switching can be configured with a simple circuit.
- the electronic thermometer of the present invention detects the temperature by detecting the display power of the equilibrium temperature predicted by the prediction means based on the update of the maximum temperature value to switch the display of the temperature display to the display of the actually measured temperature. Even if the measured temperature drops due to the force of the measuring device being separated, the maximum temperature value is not updated, and the user is not forced to measure temperature longer than necessary.
- the electronic thermometer of the present invention switches the display of the temperature display unit to the display of the equilibrium temperature predicted by the predicting means to the display of the actual temperature, the difference between the actual temperature and the predicted temperature, or the increase in the actual temperature. Since only the measured temperature of the maximum temperature value is used instead of the rate, etc., a circuit for performing these calculations is unnecessary, and the circuit configuration is simplified.
- the electronic thermometer of the present invention can reduce the change in display temperature at the time of switching the display and the change in display temperature after the display is switched.

- the curve indicated by the solid line in Fig. 4 (a) shows the time change of the actually measured temperature detected by the temperature sensor.
- the predicted temperature of the equilibrium temperature can be calculated by extracting a predetermined number of values from the actually measured temperature and applying these values to the prediction formula.
- the stabilization means 3 monitors the update state of the maximum temperature value stored in the maximum temperature value storage means 4 and starts measuring the timer when the update width is within the preset width ⁇ ′. Count time (ts). If the update of the maximum temperature value does not exceed the set width ⁇ 'during the predetermined time (ts), it is determined that the thermal equilibrium state is about to be reached. Display means 5 switches from the predicted temperature display to the measured temperature (maximum temperature value) display at the time (time tc) when the predetermined time (ts) is measured from time tb (Fig. 4 (c)).
- Fig. 4 (d) shows the change in the displayed value.

- the setting range ⁇ and the setting range ⁇ 'are set to the same value the point in time when the display is switched from the predicted temperature to the measured temperature (maximum temperature value) after a predetermined time using a timer. Since the form is at a later time, the fluctuation range at the time of switching becomes smaller.

And a prediction calculation unit 2b for calculating and calculating the predicted temperature.
- the prediction calculation unit 2b includes an arithmetic expression for calculating the predicted temperature, and calculates the predicted temperature after a predetermined time (for example, after 10 minutes) by applying the temperature data to this arithmetic expression.
- the maximum temperature value storage unit 4 includes a maximum value data holding unit 4a that holds the maximum actually measured temperature value of the actually measured temperature as the maximum temperature value.
- the maximum value data holding unit 4a displays the maximum value data on the display means 5 when the measured temperature display mode is entered, after the measured temperature display mode is entered, and when the maximum value is updated. Send (maximum temperature value).
- the stability detecting means 3 includes a maximum value detecting unit 3a and a thermal balance determining unit 3b.
- the maximum value detection unit 3a compares the measured temperature obtained by the temperature detection means 1 with the maximum temperature value stored in the maximum temperature value storage means 4, and the measured temperature is greater than the stored maximum temperature value. For this, the value stored in the maximum value data holding unit 4a is updated. As a result, the maximum temperature value stored in the maximum temperature value storage means 4 is always held at the maximum value.
- the thermal equilibrium determination unit 3b monitors whether or not the maximum temperature value stored in the maximum value data holding unit 4a has been updated within a predetermined time. If not updated, or the update amount is within the predetermined amount. In some cases, it is determined that the maximum temperature value has not been updated and that the thermal equilibrium state is being reached. Based on the determination that the thermal equilibrium state is being reached, the display on the display means 5 is switched from the predicted temperature to the actually measured temperature (maximum temperature value).
- the maximum value data holding unit 4a holds two maximum data, the previous maximum value and the new maximum value. To do.
- the previous maximum value (Tmax2) is the maximum value before updating when updating the maximum value
- the new maximum value (Tmaxl) is the maximum value after updating when updating the maximum value. Therefore, the new maximum value (Tmaxl) is always newer and the maximum value than the previous maximum value (Tmax2), and the new maximum value (Tm axl) is larger than the previous maximum value (Tmax2).
- a timer set and timer reset flag MODE described later is set to 0 (S20).
- the maximum value detection unit 3a compares the actually measured temperature T (S21) input from the temperature detection means 1 with the new maximum value (Tmaxl) (S22) read from the maximum value data holding unit 4a.
- the measured temperature T is equal to the new maximum value (Tmaxl) U, or the measured temperature T is greater than the new maximum value (Tmaxl)! In the case of /, (S23), the maximum value is updated.
- the new maximum value (Tmaxl) is set to the previous maximum value (Tmax2), and the measured temperature T is replaced with the new maximum value (Tmaxl) (S24). If the measured temperature T is smaller than the new maximum value (Tmaxl) in step S23, the maximum value is not updated and the process proceeds to step S25.
- the thermal equilibrium determination unit 3b reads out the two maximum values, the new maximum value (Tmaxl) and the previous maximum value (Tmax2), from the maximum value data holding unit 4a and compares them (S25).
- the new maximum value (Tmaxl) is updated larger than the previous maximum value (Tmax2). Therefore, when the new maximum value (Tmaxl) is compared with the previous maximum value (Tmax2) plus the set value ⁇ '(Tmax2 + ⁇ ') and (Tmaxl) is greater than (Tmax2 + It is determined that the thermal equilibrium state has not been reached, or the thermal equilibrium state has not been reached, and the process returns to the step S21 to make a determination based on a new maximum value (FIG. 8 (b)). If the timer has already been set at this time and MODE is 1 (S26), the timer is reset (S27), and after MODE is entered (S28), the process returns to S21 and a new Judge by maximum value.
- the new maximum value (Tmaxl) is obtained by adding a predetermined value ⁇ 'to the previous maximum value (Tmax2) and the previous maximum value (Tmax2). Value (Tmax2 + ⁇ ' ). Therefore, the new maximum value (Tmaxl) is compared with the range of the previous maximum value (Tmax2) and the previous maximum value (Tmax2) with the set value ⁇ '(Tmax2 + ⁇ '). When it is within the range of the previous maximum value (Tmax2) and (Tmax2 + ⁇ '), it is determined that the state reaches the thermal equilibrium state (Fig. 8 (a)) (S25).
- step S25 when it is determined that the state reaches the thermal equilibrium state, it is determined whether the timer is already set (S29), and when the timer is not set (MODE is When it is “0”, the timer is set (S30), MODE is set to “1” (S31), and the process returns to the process of S2 1 to make a determination based on the new maximum value.
- step S25 If it is determined in step S25 that the state has reached the thermal equilibrium state, and the timer has already been set (when the MODE force is 'l'), the timer is set. Whether or not a predetermined time (ts) has elapsed (S32). If the predetermined time (ts) has elapsed, the process returns to the step S21 to make a determination based on a new maximum value. When the time (ts) has elapsed, the mode is switched to the measured temperature display mode and a switching control signal is output, and the maximum value data (Tmaxl) is transmitted to the display means 5 (S33).
- the display means 5 displays the predicted temperature and the actually measured temperature (maximum temperature value), and switches the display unit 5b from displaying the predicted temperature to displaying the measured temperature (maximum temperature value). And a display switching unit 5a to be controlled.
- the display unit 5b indicates that the prediction is being performed, the predicted temperature is being displayed, or the measured temperature is being displayed. The status can also be displayed as needed.
- previous measurement value can be stored in the previous value storage means 7, and the previous measurement value can be read out and displayed on the display unit 5b at the start of measurement.

- the prediction means 2 includes temperature data used for calculating a predicted temperature and a prediction data holding unit 2a that holds an elapsed time from the start of measurement, and temperature data held in the prediction data holding unit 2a. And a prediction calculation unit 2b that calculates and calculates a predicted temperature.

- the peak fluctuation detector 5c holds the measured temperature value in a peak, and detects the fluctuation of the peak value. For example, the peak fluctuation detection unit 5c detects whether or not the fluctuation range of the peak hold value of the actually measured temperature is within a predetermined range. Whether or not the fluctuation range of the peak hold value is within a predetermined range depends on whether the rate of increase of the peak hold value is within the predetermined value. Semi-U can be determined.
- Display switching unit 5a has a fluctuation range of the measured temperature peak hold value detected by peak fluctuation detection unit 5c within a predetermined range, that is, the rate of increase of the measured temperature peak hold value is within the predetermined value.
- the temperature displayed on the display 5b is switched between the predicted temperature and the measured temperature.
- the rate of increase in the peak hold value of the measured temperature can be determined by the increase value of the peak hold value with respect to the predetermined time width. When this rate of increase is within the predetermined value, the measured temperature rise is small. The temperature is in an equilibrium state.

- the fluctuation monitoring of the peak value can be performed based on whether or not the rising value force of the peak hold value within a predetermined time width exceeds a predetermined value (S43).
- step S43 when it is detected that the increase value of the peak hold value does not exceed the predetermined value and the fluctuation of the peak value is within the predetermined range, it is determined that the measured temperature is in an equilibrium state. .
- the timer reset flag MODE is set and the timer is not set (S44) and the timer is set (S45) and the flag MODE is set once. (S46) Returning to the process of S42, the time when the measured temperature is in an equilibrium state is counted. [0094] On the other hand, if the timer reset flag MODE is set to 1 in step S44 and the measured temperature is in equilibrium, the timer time is compared with the set value ts. If the time when the measured temperature is in an equilibrium state exceeds the set value ts, the measured temperature replaced with the predicted temperature is displayed (S48).
- step S42 If the time during which the measured temperature is in the equilibrium state does not exceed the set value ts, the process returns to step S42, and the time during which the measured temperature is in the equilibrium state is counted.
