明 細 書 防眩フィルム 技 術 分 野
本発明は、 防眩フィルム、 反射防止フィルム、 該反射防止フィルムを用いた偏 光板、 及び画像表示装置に関する。 背 景 技 術
本発明の第 1の態様
反射防止フィルムは、 一般に、 陰極管表示装置 (C R T ) 、 プラズマディスプ レイ (P D P ) 、 エレク ト口ルミネッセンスディスプレイ (E L D ) や液晶表示 装置 (L C D ) のようなディスプレイ装置において、 外光の反射や像の映り込み によるコントラス トの低下、 視認性の低下を防止するために、 光学干渉の原理を 用いて反射率を低減するようにディスプレイの最表面に配置される。
このような反射防止フィルムは、 一般的には支持体上に適切な膜厚で、 支持体 より屈折率の低い屈折率層を形成することにより作製できる。
近年、 ディスプレイ市場の拡大、 ディスプレイの大型化の流れに伴い、 反射防 止フィルムに対しては、 a ) 大面積化かつ均一性状、 b ) 低価格化、 c ) 耐擦傷 性の向上、 が特に求められている。 a ) で言う均一性状とは、 ディスプレイにお ける全表示部内で均一な外観面状であること、 反射率に代表される反射防止フィ ルム性能のバラツキが無いことである。 ;,
b ) の低価格化に対しては、 反射防止フィルムを構成する材料費の低価格化は もちろんのこと、 反射防止フィルムの生産性を向上させることが極めて重要なポ イントである。 生産性向上のためには、 外観面状や諸性能の均一性を損なうこと なく (製品得率を損なうことなく) 、 高速塗布生産を実現可能にする技術の開発 が必須であった。 反射防止フィルムを生産する方法において、 蒸着やスパッタリ ングに代表されるドライ製膜に比べ、 塗布によるウエット製膜は、 基本的に低 ス ト生産のポテンシャルを有するが、 高速塗布化すると、 同伴風や乾燥風による 流動ムラ、 乾燥ムラ、 あるいは塗布スジなどが起こりやすく、 結果として膜厚ム ラが生じやすくなり、 反射防止フィルムで要求される均一性を維持、 向上させる ことは大変難しく、 大きな課題となっていた。
また、 c ) の耐擦傷性に対しては、 ディスプレイ市場の拡大により、 従来には あまりなかった粗雑な取り扱いを受ける機会が多くなると予想され、 ディスプレ ィの最表面に用いられる反射防止フィルムの耐擦傷性の向上は極めて重要な課題 になってきている。
前述の塗布高速化に伴う膜厚ムラを改善するためには、 塗膜のレペリング性を 向上させることが有効であることが知られている。 レベリング性を向上させる一 つの手段として、 塗布液中に界面活性剤 (レべリング剤) を添加する方法が提案 されている。 塗布液に界面活性剤を添加すると表面張力が低下して被塗布物への 濡れを改良し、 塗膜形成過程での表面張力変化を小さく、 または低下させて、 液 の流動、 対流を防止して膜の均一性を改良するという機構に基づいている (コー ティング用添加剤の最新技術、 桐生春雄監修、 シーエムシー、 2 0 0 1年) 。 特開 2 0 0 2— 2 4 9 7 0 6号公報では、 炭素数 6以下のパーフルォロアルキ ル基を有するフッ素系ポリマー型レベリング剤を用いて、 優れたレベリング性を 実現できた例が開示されている。 しかしながら、 このようなフッ素系レべリング 剤を用いて塗布を行うと、 そのレべリング効果により、 均一な外観面状が得やす くなるものの、 乾燥後に出来る塗膜の表面自由エネルギーが小さくなるため、 そ の塗面上に、 反射防止フィルムに不可欠な低屈折率層を積層すると、 界面での密 着が弱くなり、 結果として、 外力による破壌が起こりやすくなり、 耐擦傷性が弱 い反射防止フィルムしか生産できないという問題があった。
また、 特開 2 0 0 3— 5 3 8 7 8号公報では、 高屈折率層を形成する塗布液中 にシリコーン系のレペリング剤を添加して高屈折率層を形成し、 さらに低屈折率 層を形成することにより、 高屈折率層と低屈折率層との間にレべリング剤層を形 成する技術が開示されているが、 耐擦傷性の改良については言及されていない。 特開 2 0 0 3— 5 3 8 7 8号公報では、 高屈折率のシリコーン系のレペリング剤 を用いることにより高屈折率層との屈折率のギャップを小さく し、 従来のシリコ ーン系で生じていた反射率の上昇を緩和させる効果を狙ったたものであり、 本発 明の趣旨とは異なる。 更に、 シリコーン系レべリング剤を防眩層に添加し、 反射 防止フィルムに不可欠な低屈折率層を積層する場合には、 上記と同様に、 レベリ ング効果により均一な外観面状が得やすくなるものの、 防眩層と低屈折率層との 界面密着が弱くなり耐擦傷性が著しく落ちたり、 低屈折率層が防眩層の凹凸部分 でうまく塗布できずに、 ハジキが発生したりするなどの問題があった。
本発明の第 2の態様
反射防止フィルムは、 一般に、 陰極管表示装置 (CRT) 、 プラズマディスプ レイ (PDP) 、 エレク ト口ルミネッセンスディスプレイ (ELD) や液晶表示 装置 (LCD) のようなディスプレイ装置において、 外光の反射や像の映り込み によるコントラス トの低下、 視認性の低下を防止するために、 光学干渉の原理を 用いて反射率を低減するようにディスプレイの最表面に配置される。

また、 b) の表面硬度ゃ耐擦傷性についても、 ディスプレイ市場の拡大により、 従来にはあまりなかった粗雑な取り扱いを受ける機会が多くなると予想され、 デ イスプレイの最表面に用いられる反射防止フィルムの表面硬度ゃ耐擦傷性の向上 は極めて重要な課題として挙がってきている。
また、 c) の高速塗布性については、 高速塗布に伴う膜厚のムラの発生を抑制 するために、 塗膜のレべリング性を向上させることが有効であることが知られて いる。 レべリング性を向上させる一つの手段として、 塗布溶液中に界面活性剤 (レべリング剤) を添加する方法が提案されている。
特開 200 2— 249 706号公報では、 炭素数 6以下のパーフルォロアルキ ル基を有するフッ素系ポリマー型レベリング剤を用いて、 優れたレベリング性を 実現できた例が開示されている。 しかしながら、 このようなフッ素系レべリング 剤を用いて塗布を行うと、 そのレべリング効果により、 均一な外観面状が得やす くなるものの、 乾燥後に出来る塗膜の表面自由エネルギーが小さくなるため、 そ の塗面上に、 反射防止フィルムに不可欠な低屈折率層を積層すると、 界面での密 着が弱くなり、 結果として、 外力による破壌が起こりやすくなり、 耐擦傷性が弱 い反射防止フィルムしか生産できないという問題があった。

反射防止フィルムが満たすべき表面硬度を得るためには、 ァクリル系樹脂から なる透光性の電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂をバインダーとしたハードコート層 (例えば、 表面の凹凸により、 表面での光散乱性が付与された防眩性ハードコー ト層) をある一定以上の厚みで塗設することが有効であった。
しかしながら、 本発明者等は、 支持体であるトリァセチルセルロールフィルム と、 トリァセチルセルロースフィルムに直接接する層との間の密着性を確保する ために必要な強度の、 例えば紫外線 (U V) 照射を行うと、 アクリル系樹脂によ る硬化収縮ムラが起こり、 特に、 表面硬度の確保のために厚膜化したハードコー ト層、 眩眩性ハードコート層においては、 結果として、 反射防止フィルムの表面 が折れシヮ状の面質になってしまい、 外観上の異常感が生じ、 商品価値の低下に つながる問題が潜在的に存在することを確認された。 発 明 の 概 要
本発明の第 1の態様
本発明者らは、 本発明時において、 特定の組成物を含有してなる防眩層を形成 させてなることにより、 十分な耐擦傷性を持ちながら、 大面積化かつ均一性状、 低価格化の市場要求に対応できる、 高速塗布適性のある防眩フィルムと、 これを 用いた反射防止フィルムを得られるとの知見を得た。 よって、 本発明はかかる知 見によって成されたものである。
従って、 本発明による防眩フィルムは、
トリァセチルセルロースフィルムの上に、 防眩層を積層したものであって、 前記防眩層が、 アクリル系樹脂からなる透光性樹脂と、 プラスチック製透光性 微粒子と、 少なくとも 1種の炭素数 8以上のパーフルォロアルキル基を有する (メタ) ァクリル酸系の繰り返し単位および少なくとも 1種のボルナン環を有す る (メタ) アクリル酸系の繰り返し単位を含む共重合体からなるレべリング剤と を含んでなるものであり、
前記防眩層の屈折率より低い低屈折率層を前記防眩層上に積層してなる反射防 止フィルムを構成するために供されるものである。
また、 本発明の別の態様による反射防止フィルムは、
トリァセチルセルロースフィルムの上に、 防眩層と、 前記防眩層の屈折率より 低い低屈折率層とをこれらの順で積層してなるものであって、
前記防眩層が、 アクリル系樹脂からなる透光性樹脂と、 プラスチック製透光性 微粒子と、 少なくとも 1種の炭素数 8以上のパーフルォロアルキル基を有する (メタ) ァクリル酸系の繰り返し単位おょぴ少なくとも 1種のポルナン環を有す る (メタ) アクリル酸系の繰り返し単位を含む共重合体からなるレべリング剤と を含んでなるものである。
本発明によれば、 十分な耐擦傷性を持ちながら、 大面積化かつ均一性状であり、 低価格化の市場要求に対応できる、 高速塗布適性のある防眩フィルム、 およぴこ れを用いた反射防止フィルムを提供できる。 特に、 本発明による防眩フィルムま たは反射防止フィルムは、 特定の組成物を含んでなる防眩層が形成されてなるこ とにより、 防眩層の高速塗布時の外観面状または塗布面の均一性を良好に保つこ とができるので、 防眩フィルムまたは射防止フィルムの耐擦傷性を顕著に向上さ せることが可能となる。
本発明の第 2の態様
本発明者等は、 本発明時において、 特定の組成物を含有してなる防眩層を形成 させてなることにより、 支持体であるトリァセチルセルロースフィルムと、 トリ ァセチルセルロースフィルムに直接接する層との間の十分な密着性を保ちながら、 しかも、 十分な表面硬度を確保し、 更に、 硬化収縮ムラが目立たず (即ち、 外観 上の異常感として認識されない) 、 大面積化かつ均一性状の市場要求に対応でき る、 防眩フィルムと、 これを用いた反射防止フィルムを得られるとの知見を得た。 よって、 本発明はかかる知見によって成されたものである。
従って、 本発明による防眩フィルムは、 トリァセチルセルロースフィルムの上 に、 防眩層を積層したものであって、
前記防眩層が、 プラスチック製透光性微粒子と、 少なくとも 1種の炭素数 8以 上のパーフルォロアルキル基を有する (メタ) アクリル酸系の繰り返し単位およ ぴ少なくとも 1種のポルナン環を有する (メタ) アクリル酸の繰り返し単位とを 含む共重合体からなるレペリング剤と、 少なくとも 1種が 3官能のァクリル系樹 脂からなる透光性の電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂とを含む硬化性組成物から形成 されてなり、
前記防眩層の屈折率よりも低い低屈折率層を前記防眩層上に積層されてなる反 射防止フィルムを構成するために供されるものである。
また、 本発明の別の態様による反射防止フィルムは、

前記防眩層が、 プラスチック製透光性微粒子と、 少なくとも 1種の炭素数 8以 上のパーフルォロアルキル基を有する (メタ) アクリル酸系の繰り返し単位およ ぴ少なくとも 1種のポルナン環を有する (メタ) アクリル酸の繰り返し単位とを 含む共重合体からなるレベリング剤と、 少なくとも 1種が 3官能のァクリル系樹 脂を含む透光性の電離放肘線硬化型多官能樹脂を含んでなる硬化性組成物から形 成されてなるものである。 図面の簡単な説明

本発明の第 1の態様
本発明の第 1の態様による防眩フィルムと反射防止フィルムについて、 図 1お よび図 2を用いて説明する。 図 1および図 2は本発明の第 1の態様による好まし い反射防止フィルムの一態様を表す断面図である。
図 1の反射防止フィルム 1は、 トリァセチルセルロースフィルム 2、 防眩層 4、 そして低屈折率層 5の順序の層構成を有する。 図 2の反射防止フィルム 1 0は、 トリァセチルセルロースフィルム 2、 帯電防止層 3、 防眩層 4、 そして低屈折率 層 5の順序の層構成を有する。 防眩層 4はァクリル系樹脂からなる透光性樹脂を 含み、 好ましくは耐擦傷性を有する電離放射線硬化型透光性樹脂を硬化した硬化 被膜であり、 防眩層 4内には、 表面に主として凹凸を形成する透光性微粒子 1 2 が含まれており、 更に、 表面に凹凸を形成しない透光性微粒子 1 3が含まれてい てもよい。 透光性微粒子は 2種類以上あってもよい。 また、 低屈折率層 5は、 最 外層に塗設する。 帯電防止層 3は、 防眩層 4の下層に塗設されるのが一般的であ るが、 最外層でなければ制限を受けない。 防眩層 4には通電粒子 1 4が含まれる。 帯電防止を必要としないならば、 帯電防止層 3を省略してもよい。
防眩層 4に含まれる、 透光性微粒子 1 2、 あるいは 1 3以外の部分の硬化皮膜 の屈折率は 1 . 5 0〜2 . 0 0の範囲にあることが好ましく、 低屈折率層 5の屈 折率は 1 . 3 0〜1 . 5 0の範囲にあることが好ましい。 図 1および図 2に示さ れる反射防止フィルムにおいて、 低屈折率層 5を設ける前の積層体は本発明の防 眩フィルムである。
1 . 防眩層
本発明における防眩層は、 アクリル系樹脂からなる透光性樹脂、 好ましくは、 ハードコート性 (耐擦傷性) を付与するためのアクリル系樹脂からなる電離放射 線硬化型透光性樹脂、 防眩性を付与するためのプラスチック製透光性微粒子、 お よぴレべリング剤、 更には必要に応じ、 内部散乱性を付与する透光性微粒子、 高 屈折率化、 架橋収縮防止、 高押し込み強度付与のための無機フィラーを主に含ん だ組成物を塗布し、 塗膜を硬化することにより形成される。
リベリング剤
防眩層塗布組成物には、 流動ムラ、 乾燥ムラ、 塗布スジ、 点欠陥等のない、 外 観面状均一性を高速塗布時においても確保するために、 フッ素系、 シリコーン系 の何れかのレペリング剤、 あるいはその両者を添加することが提案されている。 特に、 フッ素系のレべリング剤は、 反射防止フィルム用下層塗布組成物を塗布し 形成した硬化皮膜を巻き取った場合の、 フィルム裏面へのレべリング剤転写、 あ るいは、 硬化皮膜ハンドリング時においての、 製造機内の搬送ロールへのレベリ ング剤転写汚染の懸念が少ない点で好ましいものであった。
しかしながら、 上記のようなレべリング剤を使用すると、 硬化皮膜表面に F原 子や S i原子を含有する官能基が偏析することにより、 硬化皮膜の表面自由エネ ルギ一が低下し、 上記硬化皮膜上に低屈折率層をオーバーコートしたときに、 反 射率性能ゃ耐擦傷性が悪化する問題がしばしばあった。
反射率性能ゃ耐擦傷性が悪化するのは、 表面自由エネルギーの低くなった防眩 層の硬化皮膜に対する低屈折率層用塗布液の濡れ性が悪化するために、 反射率悪 化は低屈折率層のミクロな厚みムラができることが原因と推定される。 また、 耐 擦傷性悪化は防眩層の硬化皮膜と低屈折率層との間の親和性、 結合力が低下し、 界面での密着性が著しく低下することが原因と推定される。
このような、 塗布適性 (外観面状、 諸性能の均一性) と耐擦傷性の両立を図る ための手段として、 本発明においては、 下記するフッ素系レべリング剤が特異的 に有効であることが見出された。
本発明で用いるレベリング剤は、 少なくとも 1種の炭素数 8以上のパーフルォ 口アルキル基を有する (メタ) アクリル酸系の繰り返し単位おょぴ少なくとも 1 種のポルナン環を有する (メタ) アクリル酸系の繰り返し単位を含む共重合体か らなるレべリング剤である。 好ましくは、 該レべリング剤構造中に、 更に、 ポ リエチレンォキシド基または/およびポリプロピレンォキシド基を有する (メ タ) アクリル酸系の繰り返し単位を含むレべリング剤である。 ポリエチレンォキ シド基または/およびポリプロピレンォキシド基を有する (メタ) アクリル酸系 の繰り返し単位を含むことで、 塗布溶剤に対する溶解性や、 塗布組成物の固形分 に対する相溶性が増し、 より好適である。
本発明で用いるレべリング剤のポリスチレン換算の質量平均分子量 (Mw) は、 1 , 3 0 0以上 1 5 , 0 0 0以下であることが好ましく、 外観面状や諸性能の均 一性の点で 2 , 5 0 0以上、 塗布溶剤に対する溶解性や、 塗布組成物固形分に対 する相溶性の観点で 1 3 , 0 0 0以下がより好ましい。
また、 本発明で用いるレべリング剤の含有量は、 硬化皮膜樹脂の固形分質量に 対し、 0 . 0 5質量%以上、 0 . 5質量%以下であることが好ましく、 0 . 0 8 質量%以上、 0 . 3 0質量%以下であることが更に好ましい。 本発明で用いるレ ベリング剤の含有量が少なすぎると、 高速塗布時の外観面状や諸性能の均一性が 得られにくくなり、 レベリング剤の含有量が多すぎると、 耐擦傷性への影響や塗 布液攪拌時の泡発生の懸念が生じるのであまり好ましくない。
更に、 本発明で用いるレべリ ング剤を使用する場合、 防眩層塗布組成物全量中 にトルエン溶剤を 2 5質量%以上 6 0質量%以下で含有させることが好ましい。 より好ましくは、 3 0質量%以上 5 5質量。/。以下、 更に好ましくは 3 5質量%以 上 5 0質量%以下である。
本発明者らは、 本発明で用いるレべリング剤を検討する過程において、 工業的 に汎用な溶剤の中で、 特にトルエン溶剤中で、 最も効率よく効果を発揮すること を見出した。 その点で、 トルエン溶剤が 2 5質量%を下回らないことが好ましレ、。 一方、 透明基材フィルムがセルロースァシレートフィルムの場合、 塗布組成物の 溶剤がトルエンのみであると、 トルエンに対する透明基材フィルムの溶解性が低 い為に、 透明基材フィルムと塗布組成物との間の密着性が得にくくなるため、 そ の点で 6 0質量%を上回らないことが好ましい。 このとき、 トルエンと併用して 用いる好ましい溶剤は、 シクロへキサノン、 メチルェチルケトン、 アセトン、 酢 酸メチル、 酢酸ェチルなどが挙げられ、 特に好ましいのはシクロへキサノンであ る。 以下、 本発明で用いるレべリング剤の具体的な構造の例 P— 1〜P— 1 9を下 記の化 1〜3の化学式および表 1〜 3にて示すがこの限りではない。 尚、 式中の 数字 a〜 f は各モノマー成分の質量比を示す。 n、 pおよび qは各繰り返し単位 の平均の数を示す。 Mwは質量平均分子量を表す。 下式中、 R R2、 R3、 R4、 R5及び R6は水素原子又はメチル基を表し、 R7は炭素数 1以上 20以下の、 直 鎖、 分岐もしくは環状の、 置換もしくは無置換のアルキル基を表す。 R7で表さ れるアルキル基の置換基としては、 ハロゲン原子 (例えば、 フッ素原子、 塩素原 子) 、 アルコキシ基 (炭素数 1以上 8以下のアルコキシ基で、 例えばメ トキシ、 エトキシ、 ブトキシ) 、 ヒ ドロキシル基が挙げられる。
ここで、 質量平均分子量及ぴ分子量は、 TSKgel GMHxL、 T S Kgel G40 00HxL、 T SKgel G2000HxL (何れも東ソー(株)製の商品名) のカラムを使 用した G PC分析装置により、 溶媒 THF、 示差屈折計検出によるポリスチレン 換算で表した分子量であり、 分子量が 300以上の成分のピークを用いて計算し ている。

アクリル系樹脂からなる透過性榭脂
アクリル系樹脂からなる透過性榭脂は、 好ましくは、 ハードコート性 (耐擦傷 性) を付与するためのアクリル系樹脂からなる電離放射線硬化型透光性樹脂が挙 げられる。 アクリル系樹脂からなる電離放射線硬化型榭脂組成物の具体例として は、 好ましくは、 アタリレート系の官能基を有するもの、 例えば比較的低分子量 のポリエステル樹脂、 ポリエーテル樹脂、 アクリル樹脂、 エポキシ榭脂、 ウレタ ン榭脂、 アルキッド樹脂、 スピロァセタール樹脂、 ポリブタジエン樹脂、 ポリチ オールポリェン樹脂、 多価アルコール等の多官能化合物の (メタ) アタリレート
(以下、 本明細書では、 アタリレートとメタアタリレートとを (メタ) アタリレ ートと記載する) などのオリゴマー又はプレボリマー、 及び反応性希釈剤として 比較的多量に含む電離放射線硬化型樹脂が挙げられる。 上記希釈剤としては、 ェチル (メタ) ァクリレート、 2—ェチルへキシル (メ タ) アタリレート、 スチレン、 ビエルトルエン、 N—ビニルピロリ ドンなどの単 官能モノマー、 並びに多官能モノマー、 例えばトリメチロールプロパントリ (メ タ) アタリレート、 へキサンジオール (メタ) アタリレート、 トリプロピレンク' リコールジ (メタ) アタリレート、 ジエチレングリコールジ (メタ) アタリレー ト、 ペンタエリスリ トーノレト リ (メタ) アタリレート、 ジペンタエリスリ トール へキサ (メタ) ァクリレート、 1 , 6—へキサンジオールジ (メタ) アタリレー ト、 ネオペンチルグリコールジ (メタ) ァクリレート等が挙げられる。
防眩層における電離放射線硬化型樹脂組成物の添加量は防眩層の固形分全質量 の 1 5質量%以上 8 5質量 °/0以下である。
更に、 上記の電離放射線硬化型樹脂を紫外線硬化型樹脂として使用するときは、 これらの中に光重合開始剤として、 ァセトフエノン類、 ベンゾフエノン類、 ミヒ ラ一べンゾィノレべンゾエート、 a—了ミ口キシムエステノレ、 チォキサントン類や、 光増感剤として n—ブチルァミン、 トリエチルァミン、 トリ n—ブチルホスフィ ンなどを混合して使用することができる。 特に本発明では、 オリゴマーとしてゥ レタンァクリレート、 モノマーとしてジペンタエリスリ トールへキサ (メタ) ァ クリレート等を混合するのが好ましい。
最新 U V硬化技術 (P . 1 5 9, 発行人;高薄一弘, 発行所; (株) 技術情報 協会, 1 9 9 1年発行) にも種々の例が記載されており本発明に有用である。 市販の光開裂型の光ラジカル重合開始剤としては、 チバ · スペシャルティ ■ケ ミカルズ (株) 製のィルガキュア 6 5 1, ィルガキュア 1 8 4, ィルガキュア 9 0 7 (各商品名) 等が好ましい例として挙げられる。
光重合開始剤は、 多官能モノマー 1 0 0質量部に対して、 0 . 1〜1 5質量部 の範囲で使用することが好ましく、 より好ましくは 1〜 1 0質量部の範囲である。 更に、 上記防眩層を形成するための透光性樹脂として、 上記のような電離放射 線硬化型樹脂に対して溶剤乾燥型樹脂を含ませてもよい。 前記溶剤乾燥型樹脂に は、 主として、 熱可塑性樹脂例えば、 セノール樹脂、 尿素樹脂、 ジァリルフタレ ート樹脂、 メラミン樹脂、 グアナミン樹脂、 不飽和ポリエステル樹脂、 ポリウレ タン樹脂、 エポキシ樹脂、 アミノアルキッド樹脂、 メラミン一尿素共縮合樹脂、 ケィ素樹脂、 ポリシロキサン樹脂等が用いられる。
電離放射線硬化型樹脂に添加する溶剤乾燥型熱可塑性樹脂の種類は通常用いら れるものが使用されるが、 好ましくは、 電離放射線硬化型樹脂に含ませる溶剤乾 燥型樹 S旨には、 ニトロセノレロース、 ァセチノレセノレロース、 セ /レロースアセテート プロピオネート、 ェチノレヒ ドロキシェチノレセノレロース等のセノレロース系樹 S旨がト リァセチルセルロースフィルムとの密着性、 及び透明性の点で有利である。
上記のような電離放射線硬化型樹脂組成物の硬化方法としては、 前記電離放射 線硬化型樹脂組成物の通常の硬化方法、 即ち、 電子線又は紫外線の照射によって 硬化することができる。
例えば、 電子線硬化の場合には、 コック口フワルトン型、 バンデグラフ型、 共 振変圧型、 絶縁コア変圧器型、 直線型、 ダイナミ トロン型、 高周波型等の各種電 子線加速器から放出される 5 0〜1 0 0 0 K e V、 好ましくは 1 0 0〜3 0 0 K e Vのエネルギーを有する電子線等が使用され、 紫外線硬化の場合には超高圧水 銀灯、 高圧水銀灯、 低圧水銀灯、 カーボンアーク、 キセノンアーク、 メタルハラ ィドランプ等の光線から発する紫外線等が利用できる。
プラスチック製透過性微粒子
防眩層は、 1 ) 表面の凹凸を形成し防眩性を付与したり、 更には、 2 ) マトリ タスとの屈折率の違いにより生じる内部散乱性 (屈折率差が大きいほど、 内部散 乱性は大きくなる) を利用した、 防眩性フィルムで問題となるギラツキ (表面凹 凸がレンズの働きをし、 特に、 画素サイズの小さい高精細ディスプレイの場合に、 輝度のバラツキを生じさせ、 視認性の低下を引き起こす現象) 改良性を持たせる ために、 プラスチック製透光性微粒子 (以下、 単に 「透過性微粒子」 ということ がある) を含んでなる。
防眩層に含まれる透光性樹脂 (防眩層用マトリクス樹脂) とプラスチック製透 光性微粒子との屈折率の差が 0 . 0 3以上0 . 2 0以下が好ましく、 より好まし くは 0 . 0 4以上 0 . 1 6以下である。 このような数値範囲とすることにより、 光拡散効果が十分に得られるとともに、 フィルム全体が白化することがないから であるしてしまうからである。
前記透光性微粒子において、 2種類以上の異なる屈折率を有する透光性微粒子 を用いることが好ましい。 そして、 これら 2種類以上の異なる屈折率を有する透 光性微粒子の混合を行なうことにより、 透光性微粒子の屈折率は、 各々の透光性 微粒子の屈折率と使用比率とに応じた平均値として見なすことができ、 透光性微 粒子の混合比率調整により細かい屈折率設定が可能となり、 1種類の場合よりも 制御が容易となり、 様々な設計が可能となる。
前記透光性微粒子のうち、 第 1の透光性微粒子と第 2の透光性微粒子との屈折 率の差を 0. 0 3以上、 0. 10以下が好ましいとしたのは、 屈折率差が 0. 0 3未満の場合は、 両者の屈折率の差が小さすぎて、 両者を混合しても屈折率の制 御の自由度が小さく、 又、 屈折率差が 0. 10よりも大きい場合は、 マトリクス との屈折率差の大きい透光性微粒子により光拡散性が決定してしまうからである。 なお、 前記屈折率差は、 0. 04以上、 0. 0 9以下がより好ましく、 0. 05 以上、 0. 08以下が特に好ましい。
前記防眩層に含有させる第 1の透光性微粒子としては、 有機微粒子が好適であ り、 特に透明度が高く、 透光性樹脂との屈折率差が前述のような数値になるもの が好ましい。
第 1の透光性微粒子に用いられる有機微粒子としては、 ァクリル一スチレン共 重合体ビーズ (屈折率 1. 55) 、 メラミンビーズ (屈折率 1. 5 7) 、 ポリ力 ーポネートビーズ (屈折率 1. 5 7) 、 等が挙げられる。
第 2の透光性微粒子としては、 有機微粒子が好適であり、 特に透明度が高く、 透光性樹脂との屈折率差が前述のような数値になるものが好ましい。 第 2の透光 性微粒子に用いられる有機微粒子としては、 スチレンビーズ (屈折率 1. 60) 、 ポリ塩化ビエルビーズ (屈折率 1. 60) 、 等が用いられる。
本発明の好ましい態様によれば、 2種類以上のプラスチック製透光性微粒子の、 少なくとも 1種の屈折率が 1. 53以上1. 5 7以下であり、 他の少なくとも 1 種の屈折率が 1. 58以上、 1. 6 2以下であるものが好ましい。
第 1の透光性微粒子と第 2の透光性微粒子の粒径を揃えることにより、 第 1の 透光性微粒子と第 2の透光性微粒子の比率を自由に選択して用いることができる。 第 1の透光性微粒子と第 2の透光性微粒子との粒径を揃えるためには、 単分散粒 子が得やすい有機微粒子が、 この点でも好ましい。 粒径にばらつきがないほど、 防眩性や内部散乱特性にばらつきが少なくなり、 防眩層の光学性能設計が容易に なるので好ましい。 単分散性を更に上げる手段として、 風力分級、 ろ過フィルタ による湿式ろ過分級が挙げられる。
前記透光性微粒子の粒径は、 0 . 5 μ m以上 1 0 . 0 μ m以下が好ましく、 1 . 0 /z m未満の場合、 防眩層に添加すべき前記透光性微粒子の添加量を非常に多く しないと、 十分な防眩性や光拡散効果が得にくくなり、 粒径が 1 0 . 0 μ mを超 えるときは、 防眩層の表面形状が粗くなり、 面質を悪化させるばかりか、 表面へ ィズの上昇により白味が増してしまうからである。 前記透光性微粒子の直径は 2 μ πι以上 5 i m以下が好ましく、 2 ^u ni以上 4 /z m以下が特に好ましい。
前記透光性微粒子の合計の含有量は、 前記防眩層の固形分全質量に対して、 5 質量%以上 4 0質量%以下であることが好ましい。 より好ましくは、 1 0質量0 /0 以上 3 0質量%以下である。 5質量%未満であると、 十分な防眩性や内部散乱性 が付与できず、 4 0質量。 /0を超えると、 膜強度が落ち、 防眩層にハードコート性 を付与させることができないので好ましくない。
無機フィラー
上記のような透光性微粒子を多く添加した場合には、 樹脂組成物中で透光性微 粒子が沈降し易いので、 沈降防止のためにシリカ等の無機フィラーを添加しても よい。 なお、 無機フイラ一は添加量が増す程、 透光性微粒子の沈降防止に有効で あるが、 粒径や使用量によっては、 塗膜の透明性に悪影響を与える。 従って、 好 ましくは、 粒径 0 . 以下の無機フィラーを、 透光性樹脂に対して塗膜の透 明性を損なわない程度に含有させるとよい。
よって、 本発明における防眩層は、 無機フイラ一等の任意成分を含んでなるも のであってもよい。 防眩層には、 層の屈折率を高めるために、 チタン、 ジルコ二 ゥム、 アルミニウム、 インジウム、 亜鉛、 錫、 アンチモンのうちょり選ばれる少 なくとも 1種の金属の酸化物からなり、 平均粒径が 0 . 2 μ πι以下、 好ましくは 0 . 以下、 より好ましくは 0 . 0 6 μ πι以下である無機フィラーが含有さ れることが好ましい。
また、 透光性微粒子粒子との屈折率差を大きくするために、 高屈折率透光性微 粒子を用いた防眩層で、 層の屈折率を低目に保っためにケィ素の酸化物を用いる ことも好ましい。 好ましい粒径は前述の無機フィラーと同じである。
防眩層に用いられる無機フィラーの具体例としては、 T i 02、 Z r〇2、 A 1 〇 、 I n23、 Z nO、 S n〇2、 S b23、 I T Oと S i O2等が挙げられる。
T i 02および Z r 02が高屈折率化の点で特に好ましい。 該無機フイラ一は表面 をシランカップリング処理又はチタン力ップリング処理されることも好ましく、 フィラー表面にバインダー樹脂と反応できる官能基を有する表面処理剤が好まし く用いられる。
これらの無機フィラーの添加量は、 防眩層の固形分全質量の 1 0~90質量% であることが好ましく、 より好ましくは 20〜 80%であり、 特に好ましくは 3 0〜75%である。 尚、 このようなフイラ一は、 粒径が光の波長よりも十分小さ いために散乱が生じず、 バインダーポリマーに該フイラ一が分散した分散体は光 学的に均一な物質として振舞う。
本発明の防眩層の透光性樹脂バインダー、 透光性微粒子および無機フィラーの 混合物のバルタの屈折率、 すなわち、 防眩層のマトリクスの屈折率は、 1. 48 〜2. 00であることが好ましく、 より好ましくは 1. 5 1〜1. 80、 更に好 ましくは 1. 54〜1. 70である。 なお、 透光性微粒子を除外した部分の防眩 層のマトリクスの屈折率は、 1. 50〜2. 00であることが好ましい。 屈折率 を上記範囲とするには、 バインダー、 透光性微粒子及びノ又は無機フィラーの種 類及び量割合を適宜選択することができる。
以上のようにすると、 前記透光性微粒子と防眩層マトリクスとの適切な屈折率 差の選択により、 フィルム全体が白化したりすることなく、 高い透過鮮明度を維 持した状態で、 最適な防眩性を与え、 フィルム内を透過した光を内部散乱効果に よって、 平均化することができ、 ギラツキを抑えることができる。
オルガノシラン化合物
本発明によるオルガノシラン化合物を含んでなるものが好ましくは、 その内容 は後記するオルガノシラン化合物と同様であってよい。
防眩層の形成
防眩層の形成において、 電離放射線硬化型化合物の架橋反応、 又は、 重合反応 により形成される場合、 架橋反応、 又は、 重合反応は酸素濃度が 10体積%以下 の雰囲気で実施することが好ましい。 酸素濃度が 10体積%以下の雰囲気で形成 することにより、 物理強度ゃ耐薬品性に優れたハードコート性 (耐擦傷性) の防 眩層を形成することができる。
好ましくは酸素濃度が 3体積%以下の雰囲気で電離放射線硬化型化合物の架橋 反応、 又は、 重合反応により形成することであり、 更に好ましくは酸素濃度が 1 体積%以下、 特に好ましくは酸素濃度が 0. 2体積 °/0以下、 最も好ましくは 0. 1体積%以下である。
酸素濃度を 1 0体積%以下にする手法としては、 大気 (窒素濃度約 79体積%、 酸素濃度約 2 1体積%) を別の気体で置換することが好ましく、 特に好ましくは 窒素で置換 (窒素パージ) することである。

防眩層としてのヘイズが 10%以上 70%以下であることが好ましい。 より好 ましくは 20%以上 60%以下、 更に好ましくは 30%以上 50%以下である。 1 0%未満であれば、 十分な防眩性や内部散乱性を与えることができず、 また 7 0%を越えると、 フィルム全体が白化して、 表示画像もボケるため好ましくない。 防眩層の膜厚は、 1〜1 0 //mであることが好ましく、 より好ましくは 2〜 9 μ mN 特に好ましくは 3〜8 μΐηである。 Ι μπιよりも薄いと、 押し込み強度 (鉛筆硬度) の低下が目立つようになり、 また、 Ι Ο μπιよりも厚いと、 バイン ダ一の硬化収縮の程度にもよるが、 カールがきつくなり、 ハンドリング性や取り 扱い性で好ましくない。
防眩層の強度は、 J I S K5400に従う鉛筆硬度試験で、 H以上であるこ とが好ましく、 2 H以上であることがさらに好ましく、 3 H以上であることが最 も好ましい。 また、 J I SK5400に従うテーバー試験で、 試験前後の試験片 の摩耗量が少ないほど好ましい。
2. 低屈折率層
本発明にあっては、 防眩層の上に低屈折率層が形成されてなる反射防止積層体 が提案される。 反射防止フィルムの低屈折率層の屈折率は、 1. 30〜1. 50 が好ましく、 より好ましくは 1. 30〜1. 45である。 屈折率が小さいほど、 反射率が低くなるため好ましいが、 1. 30を下回ると、 低屈折率層としての強 度が不足するようになるため、 最外面に用いられる反射防止フィルムとしては好 ましくない。
さらに、 低屈折率層は下記数式 (1) :

なお、 上記数式 (1) を満たすとは、 上記波長の範囲において数式 (1) を満 たす m (正の奇数、 通常 1である) が存在することを意味している。
本発明の低屈折率層には、 低屈折率バインダーとして、 含フッ素ゾルゲル材料、 あるいは含フッ素ポリマー材料が用いられる。 含フッ素ゾルゲル材料は、 ゾルゲ ル硬化反応に必要な長時間の加熱工程が前提となること、 耐アルカリ性が得られ ないことなどから、 含フッ素ポリマー材料が好ましい。 更に、 動摩擦係数 0. 0 5〜0. 30、 水に対する接触角 90〜1 20° の熱または電離放射線により架 橋する含フッ素ポリマー材料が特に好ましい。 含フッ素ポリマー材料については 特開 2002— 20 2402号公報の段落番号 [0027] 〜 [0028] に記 載されており、 該公報の実施例で使用されている化合物も好ましい。
本発明の低屈折率層中に、 無機微粒子を含有させることは、 低屈折率層自身の 強度を上げ、 耐擦傷性を向上させる目的で好ましい。
無機微粒子の塗設量は、 l mg/m2〜 1 0 OmgZm2が好ましく、 より好ま しくは 5 m g m2〜 80 m g /m 更に好ましくは 1 0 m g Zm2〜 60 m g Z m2である。 少なすぎると、 耐擦傷性の改良効果が小さくなり、 多すぎると、 低 屈折率層表面に微細な凹凸ができて、 黒の締まりなどの外観や反射率が悪化する ため好ましくない。
該無機微粒子は、 低屈折率層に含有させることから、 低屈折率であることが望 ましい。 例えば、 フッ化マグネシウムやシリカの微粒子が挙げられる。 特に、 屈 折率、 分散安定性、 コス トの点で、 シリカ微粒子が好ましい。 シリカ微粒子の平 均粒径は、 低屈折率層の厚みの 10。/。以上 100。/。以下が好ましく、 20 %以上
90%以下がより好ましく、 特に好ましくは 30%以上 80%以下である。 即ち、 低屈折率層の厚みが 100 nmであれば、 シリカ微粒子の粒径は 1 0 nm以上 1 00 n m以下が好ましく、 より好ましくは 20 n m以上 90 n m以下、 更に好ま しくは、 30 nm以上 80 nm以下である。
シリカ微粒子の粒径が小さすぎると、 耐擦傷性の改良効果が小さくなり、 大き すぎると低屈折率層表面に微細な凹凸ができ、 黒の締まりなどの外観、 反射率が 悪化する。 シリカ微粒子は、 結晶質でも、 アモルファスのいずれでも良く、 また 単分散粒子でも、 所定の粒径を満たすならば凝集粒子でも構わない。 形状は、 球 径が最も好ましいが、 不定形であっても問題無い。 ここで、 無機微粒子の平均粒 径はコールターカウンタ一により測定される。
オルガノシラン化合物
本発明による低屈折率層は後記するオルガノシラン化合物を含んでなるものが 好ましい。
3. トリァセチルセルロースフィルム
トリァセチルセルロースフィルム (TACフィルム) の厚さは通常 25 μΐη〜
100 m程度である。 好ましい厚みは 30 !〜 1 00 mであり、 特に好ま しい厚みは 35 !〜 1 00 imである。 25 μιη未満になると、 製膜時のハン ドングが難しくなり、 また、 Ι Ο Ο μπιを越えると、 ディスプレイの薄手化に対 し不利になるため好ましくない。
4. 帯電防止層
本発明においては、 好ましくは帯電防止層 (導電性層) を設けてなる。 帯電防 止層は、 導電材料を反応性硬化型樹脂に分散したものであり、 導電材料としては、 導電性微粒子、 例えば、 アンチモンドープのインジウム · ティンォキサイド (以 下、 AT Οと記載) 、 インジウム ·ティンオキサイ ド (I TO) 、 および/また は、 金及び/又はエッケルで表面処理した有機化合物微粒子などが用いられる。 本発明の好ましい態様においては、 トリァセチルセルロースフィルムと防眩層 との間に、 少なくとも電離放射線硬化型樹脂と導電材料とを含んでなる帯電防止 層が形成されてなり、 且つ該帯電防止層と防眩フィルムの最表面との導通を確保 する通電粒子を防眩層中に含んでなる防眩フィルムが提案される。 通電粒子は、 上記した導電材料と同様であってよ
反応性硬化型樹脂としては、 透明基材フィルムとの密着性が良好であり、 且つ、 耐光性、 耐湿性があり、 また、 前記、 帯電防止層上に形成する防眩層との密着性 が良好なものであれば、 特に制限されないが紫外線や電子線を照射することによ り架橋重合反応を起こして 3次元の高分子構造に変化する樹脂、 すなわち、 分子 中に重合性不飽和結合、 または、 エポキシ基をもつ反応性のプレボリマー、 オリ ゴマー、 および/または、 単量体を適宜混合したものである電離放射線硬化型樹 脂、 あるいは、 塗布適性等を考慮して前記電離放射線硬化型樹脂に必要に応じて ウレタン系、 ポリエステル系、 アクリル系、 プチラール系、 ビュル系等の熱可塑 性樹脂を混合したものを挙げることができる。
オルガノシラン化合物
本発明による帯電防止層は後記するオルガノシラン化合物を含んでなるものが 好ましい。
帯電防止層の形成
帯電防止層を塗膜形成する方法としては、 導電性微粒子を分散して液状となし た上記樹脂の液状組成物などを用いてロールコート法、 バーコート法、 グラビア コート法等の周知の塗布方法で塗布■乾燥 ·硬化させることにより形成すること ができる。 なお、 硬化に用いる紫外線源としては、 超高圧水銀灯、 高圧水銀灯、 低圧水銀灯、 カーボンアーク灯、 ブラックライト蛍光灯、 メタルハライドランプ 灯の光源が使用できる。 紫外線の波長としては、 1 9 0〜 3 8 0 n mの波長域を 使用することができるし、'また、 電子線源としては、 コッククロフトワルト型、 バンデグラフト型、 共振変圧器型、 絶縁コア変圧器型、 あるいは、 直線型、 ダイ ナミ トロン型、 高周波型等の各種電子線加速器を用いることができる。
前記電離放射線硬化型樹脂としては、 具体的にはァクリレート系の官能基を有 するものが適当であり、 塗膜の硬度や耐熱性、 耐溶剤性、 耐擦傷性を考慮すると、 高い架橋密度の構造とすることが好ましく、 2官能以上のァクリレートモノマー、 たとえば、 エチレングリコールジ (メタ) アタリレート、 1, 6—へキサンジォ ールジアタリレート、 トリメチロールプロパントリ (メタ) アタリレート、 ペン タエリスリ トールトリ (メタ) アタリ レート、 ジペンタエリスリ トーノレペンタ (メタ) ァクリ レート、 ジペンタエリスリ トールへキサ (メタ) ァクリレートな どを挙げることができる。 尚、 上記においては、 アタリレート、 およぴノまたは、 メタアタリレートを (メタ) アタリレートと記載した。
上記の電離放射線硬化型樹脂は電子線を照射すれば十分に硬化するが、 紫外線 を照射して硬化させる場合には、 光重合開始剤として、 ァセトフエノン類、 ベン ゾフエノン類、 チォキサントン類、 ベンゾイン、 ベンゾインメチルエーテル、 ミ ヒラーベンゾィルベンゾエート、 ミヒラーケトン、 ジフエ-ルサルファイ ド、 ジ ベンジノレジサノレフアイ ド、 ジェチノレオキサイ ト、 トリフエ-/レビィミダゾーノレ、 イソプロピル一N, N—ジメチルァミノべンゾエートなどや、 光増感剤として、 n—ブチルァミン、 トリェチルァミン、 トリー n—ブチルホスフィンなどを単独 ないし混合物として用いることができる。 光重合開始剤や光増感剤の添加量は一 般に、 電離放射線硬化型樹脂 1 0 0重量部に対して、 0 . 1〜 1 0重量部程度で ある。
また、 前記、 帯電防止層を塗膜形成する場合の膜厚としては、 帯電防止層の表 面抵抗率が 1 X 1 0 1 2 ΩΖ口以下であることが好ましい。 前記、 帯電防止層の厚 さは、 通常、 0 . 3〜3 . 5 μ πιあり、 好ましくは 0 . 7〜2 . である。 厚さが 0 . 3 μ πι未満では、 前記透明導電性層 3の表面抵抗率を 1 X 1 0 1 2 ΩΖ 口以下とすることが難しくなる方向であり、 3 . 5 μ m超では、 前記、 帯電防止 層の透明性が失われる虞がある。
防眩層 (図 2における 4 ) に含有させる通電粒子 1 4としては、 金及び (又 は) ニッケルで表面処理をした粒子を使用することができる。 このような表面処 理をする前の粒子は、 シリカ、 カーボンブラック、 金属粒子及び樹脂粒子からな る群から選ぶことができる。
5 , オルガノシラン化合物
本発明の好ましい態様にあっては、 本発明における防眩層、 低屈折率層または 帯電防止層は、 オルガノシラン化合物を含んでなるものが好ましい。
本発明による反射防止フィルム用としての防眩層、 帯電防止層、 低屈折率層に おいて、 1) 少なくとも低屈折率層またはそれに隣接する層を形成する塗布液中 に、 2) より好ましくは、 低屈折率層とそれに隣接する層を形成する塗布液中そ れぞれに、 3) 最も好ましくは、 全ての層の塗布液中に、 下記一般式で表される オルガノシラン化合物および/またはその加水分解物および/またはその部分縮合 物を含有することが耐擦傷性を更に向上させる点で好ましい。 この成分は、 塗布 液を塗布後、 溶剤乾燥、 硬化工程を経て硬化物を形成し、 上記層のバインダーの 一部となる。
また、 該硬化物が重合性不飽和結合を有する場合、 活性光線の照射により、 3 次元構造を有するバインダーが形成される。 オルガノシラン化合物は下記一般式 [ I] :

R1Qは架橋性反応基を有するアルキル基またはァリール基であることが好まし く、 その中でも、 エポキシ基又は (メタ) アタリロイル基を有するアルキル基で あることが、 3次元架橋を可能にするため、 特に好ましい。 市販品であれば、 K BM-40 3 (3-グリシドキシプロビルトリメ トキシシラン) 、 KBM- 503 (3-メタタリロキシプロピルトリメ トキシシラン) 、 KB M- 5 1 03 (3-ァ クリロキシプロビルトリメ トキシシラン) [いずれも信越化学工業 (株) 製] 、 が特に好ましい。

これらのうち、 (M— 1) 、 (M— 2) 、 および (M— 5) が特に好ましい。 オルガノシランの加水分解反応おょぴ Zまたは縮合反応は、 一般に触媒の存在 下で行われる。 触媒としては、 塩酸、 硫酸、 硝酸等の無機酸類;シユウ酸、 酢酸、 ギ酸、 メタンスルホン酸、 トルエンスルホン酸等の有機酸類;水酸化ナトリウム、 水酸化カリウム、 アンモニア等の無機塩基類; トリェチルァミン、 ピリジン等の 有機塩基類; トリイソプロポキシアルミニウム、 テトラブトキシジルコニウム等 の金属アルコキシド類; Z r、 T i又は A 1などの金属を中心金属とする金属キ レート化合物等が挙げられる。 無機酸では塩酸、 硫酸、 有機酸では、 水中での酸 解離定数(p Ka値 (2 5 °C) ;)が 4 . 5以下のものが好ましく、 塩酸、 硫酸、 水 中での酸解離定数が 3 . 0以下の有機酸がより好ましく、 塩酸、 硫酸、 水中での 酸解離定数が 2 . 5以下の有機酸が更に好ましく、 水中での酸解離定数が 2 . 5 以下の有機酸が更に好ましく、 メタンスルホン酸、 シユウ酸、 フタル酸、 マロン 酸が更に好ましく、 シユウ酸が特に好ましい。 金属の腐食防止を考えると、 Z r、 T i又は A 1などの金属を中心金属とする金属キレート化合物が最も好ましい。 オルガノシランの加水分解 '縮合反応は、 無溶媒でも、 溶媒中でも行うことが できるが成分を均一に混合するために有機溶媒を用いることが好ましく、 例えば アルコール類、 芳香族炭化水素類、 エーテル類、 ケトン類、 エステル類などが好 適でめる。
溶媒はオルガノシランと触媒を溶解させるものが好ましい。 また、 有機溶媒が 塗布液あるいは塗布液の一部として用いることが工程上好ましく、 含フッ素ポリ マーなどのその他の素材と混合した場合に、 溶解 'ιίあるいは分散性を損なわない ものが好ましい。
オルガノシランの加水分解性基 1モルに対して 0 . 3〜 2モル、 好ましくは 0 . 5〜1モルの水を添加し、 上記溶媒の存在下あるいは非存在下に、 そして触媒の 存在下に、 2 5 ~ 1 0 0 °Cで、 撹拌することにより行われる。
低屈折率層塗布液中の上記オルガノシラン化合物、 および/または該オルガノ シラン化合物の加水分解物および/または部分縮合物の添加量は、 低屈折率層中 の含フッ素ポリマーに対し、 5〜1 0 0質量%が好ましく、 5〜5 0質量%がよ り好ましく、 1 5〜3 0質量。 /0が特に好ましい。 使用量が少ないと本発明の効果 が得にくく、 使用量が多すぎると屈折率が増加したり、 膜表面の形状や面状が悪 化したりするので好ましくない。 低屈折率層以外の層であるハードコート層、 防眩層、 帯電防止層への添加量は、 硬化被膜樹脂バインダーの固形分質量に対し、 5〜5 0質量%が好ましく、 1 0 〜4 0質量0 /0がより好ましく、 1 5〜3 0質量%が特に好ましい。
本発明の反射防止フィルムは、 透明基材フィルム上の各層に無機フィラーを添 加することが好ましい。 各層に添加する無機フイラ一はそれぞれ同じでも異なつ ていても良く、 各層の屈折率、 導電性、 膜強度、 膜厚、 塗布性などの必要性能に 応じて、 種類、 添加量、 は適宜調節することが好ましい。
防汚性、 耐水性、 耐薬品性、 滑り性等の特性を付与する目的で、 公知のシリコ ーン系あるいはフッ素系の防汚剤、 滑り剤等を適宜添加することもできる。 これ らの添加剤を添加する場合には低屈折率層全固形分の 0 . 0 1〜2 0質量。 /0の範 囲で添加されることが好ましく、 より好ましくは 0 . 0 5〜 1 0質量%の範囲で 添加される場合であり、 特に好ましくは 0 . 1〜 5質量%の範囲である。
6 . 任意成分
本発明による防眩フィルム (反射防止フィルム) は、 トリァセチルセルロース フィルム上の各層に無機フィラーを添加することが好ましい。 各層に添加する無 機フイラ一はそれぞれ同じでも異なっていても良く、 各層の屈折率、 導電性、 膜 強度、 膜厚、 塗布性などの必要性能に応じて、 種類、 添加量、 は適宜調節するこ とが好ましい。
防汚性、 耐水性、 耐薬品性、 滑り性等の特性を付与する目的で、 公知のシリコ ーン系あるいはフッ素系の防汚剤、 滑り剤等を適宜添加することもできる。 これ らの添加剤を添加する場合には低屈折率層全固形分の 0 . 0 1〜2 0質量%の範 囲で添加されることが好ましく、 より好ましくは 0 . 0 5〜 1 0質量。 /0の範囲で 添加される場合であり、 特に好ましくは 0 . 1〜 5質量%の範囲である。
防眩フィルムぉよび反射防止フィルムの製造
本発明の反射防止フィルムは以下の方法で形成することができるが、 この方法 に制限されない。
まず、 各層を形成するための成分を含有した塗布液が調製される。 続いて、 塗 布液を、 ディップコート法、 エアーナイフコート法、 カーテンコート法、 ロール コート法、 ワイヤーパーコート法、 グラビアコート法、 エタス トルージョンコー ト法 (米国特許 2 6 8 1 2 9 4号明細書参照) により透明基材フィルム上に塗布 し、 加熱 '乾燥するが、 マイクログラビアコート法、 ロールコート法、 ェタスと ルージョン法が塗布精度の点で特に好ましい。 各層の塗布の前工程として、 ベー スの平面性を改善するため、 フィルムを加熱処理することも好ましい。 塗布した 各層に対して、 各々、 光照射あるいは加熱して、 硬化皮膜を製膜する。 このよう な過程を経て、 最終的に反射防止フィルムが形成される。
本発明の別の態様によれば、 トリァセチルセルロースフィルムの上に、 防眩層 を積層してなる防眩フィルムの製造方法が提案され、 その製造方法は、
前記トリァセチルセルロースフィルムの上に、 あって、
アクリル系樹脂からなる透光性樹脂と、 プラスチック製透光性微粒子と、 少な くとも 1種の炭素数 8以上のパーフルォロアルキル基を有する (メタ) アクリル 酸系の繰り返し単位および少なくとも 1種のポルナン環を有する (メタ) アタリ ル酸系の繰り返し単位を含む共重合体からなるレベリング剤とを含んでなる溶剤 を含む塗布液を塗布し、 乾燥させて硬化することにより前記防眩層を形成してな るものである。
本発明の好ましい態様によれば、 前記の溶剤として、 トルエンを塗布組成物全 量に対して 2 5質量%以上 6 0質量%以下含有することが好ましい。
偏光板
偏光板は、 偏光膜を両面から挟む 2枚の保護フィルムで主に構成される。 本発 明の反射防止フィルムは、 偏光膜を両面から挟む 2枚の保護フィルムのうち少な くとも 1枚に用いることが好ましい。 本発明の反射防止フィルムが保護フィルム を兼ねることで、 偏光板の製造コス トを低減できる。 また、 本発明の反射防止フ イルムを最表層に使用することにより、 外光の映り込み等が防止され、 耐傷性、 防汚性等も優れた偏光板とすることができる。
偏光膜としては公知の偏光膜や、 偏光膜の吸収軸が長手方向に平行でも垂直で もない長尺の偏光膜から切り出された偏光膜を用いてもよい。 偏光膜の吸収軸が 長手方向に平行でも垂直でもない長尺の偏光膜は特開 2 0 0 2— 8 6 5 5 4号公 報に記載の方法により'作成される。 ポリマーフィルムの延伸方法については、 該 公報の段落 [ 0 0 2 0 ] 〜 [ 0 0 3 0 ] に詳しい記載がある。 本発明の好ましい態様によれば、 偏光素子と、 該偏光素子の表面に、 トリァセ チルセルロースフィルムにおける前記防眩層と反対側の面を向けて積層されてな る本発明による反射防止フィルムとを備えてなる、 偏光板が提案される。
画像表示装置
本発明の反射防止フィルム (防眩フィルム) が画像液晶表示装置に用いる場合、 片面に粘着層を設ける等してディスプレイの最表面に配置する。 該透明基材フィ ルムが複屈折のないセルロースァシレートフィルム、 例えば、 トリァセチルセル ロースフィルムの場合は偏光板の偏光層を保護する保護フィルムと してトリァセ チルセルロースが用いられるため、 本発明の反射防止フィルムをそのまま保護フ イルムに用いることが低価格化の上では好ましい。
本発明の反射防止フィルムは、 片面に粘着層を設ける等してディスプレイの最 表面に配置したり、 そのまま偏光板用保護フィルムとして使用される場合には、 十分に接着させるために、 透明基材フィルム上に低屈折率層までを形成した後、 鹼化処理を実施することが好ましい。 鹼化処理は、 公知の手法、 例えば、 アル力 リ液の中に該フィルムを適切な時間浸漬して実施される。 アル力リ液に浸漬した 後は、 該フィルムの中にアルカリ成分が残留しないように、 水で十分に水洗した り、 希薄な酸に浸漬してアルカリ成分を中和することが好ましい。
本発明の好ましい態様によれば、 透光性表示体と、 前記透光性表示体を背面か ら照射する光源装置とを備えてなる画像表示装置が提案され、 その装置は、 前記透光性表示体の表面に、 本発明による防眩フィルム、 本発明による反射防 止フィルムまたは本発明による偏光板が積層されてなるものである。
鹼化処理
鹼化処理することにより、 低屈折率層を有する側とは反対側の透明基材フィル ムの表面が親水化される。
親水化された表面は、 ポリビニルアルコールを主成分とする偏向膜との接着性 を改良するのに特に有効である。 また、 親水化された表面は、 空気中の塵埃が付 着しにくくなるため、 偏向膜と接着させる際に偏向膜と反射防止フィルムの間に 塵埃が入りにくく、 塵埃による点欠陥を防止するのに有効である。
鹼化処理は、 最外層を有する側とは反対側の透明基材フィルムの表面の水に対 する接触角が 4 0 ° 以下になるように実施することが好ましい。 更に好ましくは 3 0 ° 以下、 特に好ましくは 2 0 ° 以下である。
アルカリ鹼化処理の具体的手段としては、 以下の (1 ) 及ぴ (2 ) の 2つの手 段から選択することができる。 汎用のトリアセチルセルロースフィルムと同一の 工程で処理できる点で (1 ) が優れているが、 反射防止フィルム面まで鹼化処理 されるため、 表面がややダメージを受ける点、 鹼化処理液が残ると汚れになる点 が問題になり得る。 その場合には、 特別な工程となるが、 (2 ) が優れる。
( 1 ) 透明支持体上に反射防止層を形成後に、 アルカリ液中に少なくとも 1回 浸漬することで、 該フィルムの裏面を験化処理する。
( 2 ) 透明支持体上に反射防止層を形成する前または後に、 アルカリ液を該反 射防止フィルムの反射防止フィルムを形成する面とは反対側の面に塗布し、 加熱、 水洗および/または中和することで、 該反射防止フィルムの裏面だけを鹼化処理 する。
本発明の第 2の態様
本発明の第 2の態様による防眩フィルムと反射防止フィルムについて、 図 1お よび図 2を用いて説明する。 図 1および図 2は本発明の第 1の態様による好まし い反射防止フィルムの一態様を表す断面図である。 なお、 本発明の第 1の態様と 本発明の第 2の態様とは、. 防眩フィルム (反射防止フィルム) として同一の層構 成を有するものである。
図 1の反射防止フィルム 1は、 支持体であるトリァセチルセルロースフィルム 2、 防眩層 (防眩性ハードコート層) 4、 そして低屈折率層 5の順序の層構成を 有する。 図 2の反射防止フィルム 1 0は、 トリァセチルセルロースフィルム 2、 帯電防止層 (導電性ハードコート層) 3、 防眩層 4、 そして低屈折率層 5の順序 の層構成を有する。 防眩層 4は透光性の電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂であるァク リル系樹脂を主な成分として硬化した硬化被膜から成り、 防眩層 4内には、 主と して表面に凹凸を形成する透光性微粒子 1 2が含まれており、 更に、 表面の凹凸 形成に寄与しない透光性微粒子 1 3が含まれていてもよい。 透光性微粒子は 2種 類以上あってもよい。 また、 低屈折率層 5は、 最外層に塗設する。 帯電防止層 3 は、 防眩層 4の下層に塗設されるのが一般的であるが、 最外層でなければ制限を 受けない。 防眩層 4には通電粒子 1 4が含まれる。
防眩層 4に含まれる、 透光性微粒子 1 2、 1 3、 あるいは通電粒子 (金一二ッ ケル粒子) 1 4以外の部分の硬化皮膜 (バインダーマトリタス) の屈折率は 1 . 5 0〜2 . 0 0の範囲にあることが好ましく、 低屈折率層 5の屈折率は 1 . 3 0 〜1 . 5 0の範囲にあることが好ましい。
尚、 本明細書において、 数値が物性値または量を表す場合における 「 (数値 1 ) 〜 (数値 2 ) 」 という記载は 「 (数値 1 ) 以上 (数値 2 ) 以下」 の意味を表 す。
1 . 防眩層
本発明による防眩層 (防眩性ハードコート層と呼ぶことがある) 、 ハードコー ト性 (すなわち表面硬度) を付与する目的と、 硬化収縮ムラによる外観異常 (デ コポコ面状) を避ける目的のために、 少なくとも 1種が 3官能のアクリル系樹脂 からなる透光性の電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂により構成され、 更に、 防眩性を 付与するための透光性微粒子、 内部散乱性を付与するための透光性微粒子、 レべ リング剤 (塗布助剤) 、 更に必要に応じ、 パインダーマトリクスの屈折率調整の ための無機フィラーなどが含まれる。
本発明にあっては、 後記する少なく とも 1種が 3官能のアクリル系樹脂からな る透光性の電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂以外の添加成分は本発明の第 1の態様で 説明したのと同様であってよい。 具体的には、 プラスチック製光透過性微粒子、 リベリング剤、 任意添加物 (無機フィルター、 オルガノシラン化合物) 、 防眩層 の物性および形成等は、 本発明の第 1の態様で説明したのと同様であってよい π 電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂
電離放射線硬化型の多官能ァクリル系樹脂としての例としては、 2官能として、 トリプロピレングリコールジ (メタ) アタリレート、 ポリプロピレングリコール ジ (メタ) アタリレート、 ジエチレングリコールジ (メタ) アタリレート、 ポリ エチレングリコールジ (メタ) アタリレート、 1, 3—ブタンジオールジ (メ タ) アタリレート、 1 , 4—ブタンジオールジ (メタ) アタリレート、 エトキシ 化ビスフエノール Αジ (メタ) アタリレート、 エトキシ化ビスフエノール Fジ (メタ) アタリレート、 1, 6—へキサンジオールジ (メタ) アタリレート、 1, 9ーノナンジオールジ (メタ) アタリ レート、 1 , 1 0—デカンジオールジ (メ タ) アタリレート、 グリセリンジ (メタ) アタリレート、 ネオペンチルグリコー ルジ (メタ) アタリレート、 プロポキシ化ネオペンチルグリコールジ (メタ) ァ タリレート、 ペンタエリスリ トー ジァクリレートモノステアレート、 イソシァ ヌル酸エトキシ変性ジ (メタ) アタリ レート (イソシァヌル酸 Ε Ο変性ジ (メ タ) アタリレート) 、 2官能ウレタンアタリレート、 2官能ポリエステルアタリ レート、 などが挙げられ、 3官能として、 ペンタエリスリ トールトリ (メタ) ァ タリレート、 トリメチロールプロパントリ (メタ) アタリレート、 トリメチロー ルプロパン Ε Ο変性トリ (メタ) アタリ レート、 イソシァヌル酸 Ε Ο変性トリ (メタ) アタリ レート、 エトキシ化トリメチロールプロパントリ (メタ) アタリ レート、 プロポキシ化トリメチロールプロパントリ (メタ) アタリレート、 プロ ポキシ化グリセリルトリ (メタ) アタリレート、 3官能ポリエステルァクリ レー トなどが挙げられ、 4官能として、 ペンタエリスリ トー/レテトラ (メタ) アタリ レート、 ジトリメチロールプロパンテトラ (メタ) アタリ レート、 ェトキシ化ぺ ンタエリスリ トールテトラ (メタ) アタリレートなどがあり、 5官能以上では、 ジペンタエリスリ トーノレヒ ドロキシペンタ (メタ) アタリレート、 ジペンタエリ スリ トールへキサアタリレートなどが挙げられる。 尚、 上記においては、 アタリ レートおょぴ Ζまたはメタタリレートを (メタ) アタリレートと記載した。
本発明の防眩層に少なく とも 1種含まれる 3官能のァクリル系樹脂のうち、 少 なくとも 1種はペンタエリスリ トールトリァクリレートであることが好ましい。 また、 3官能のアクリル系樹脂は、 電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂全質量に対して、 5 5質量%以上であることが好ましい。 3官能のアクリル系樹脂の比率が、 5 5 質量%を下回ると表面硬度と外観面状の両立の点で難しくなる。
更に、 本発明の防眩層を構成する前記電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂として、 前 記 3官能のァクリル系樹脂以外に、 2官能のアクリル系樹脂が少なくとも 1種含 まれることが好ましい。 特に、 前記 2官能のアクリル系樹脂がイソシァヌル酸骨 格を有するジァクリレートが好ましく、 具体的にはィソシァヌル酸 Ε Ο変性ジァ クリレート (東亞合成 (株) 製) 等であることが好ましい。 2官能のアクリル系 樹脂は、 電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂全質量に対して、 1 0質量%以上、 4 5質 量%以下であることが好ましい。 2官能のァクリル系樹脂の比率が 1 0質量%を 下回ると、 硬化収縮ムラの更なる改善効果がわずかとなり、 4 5質量。 /0を越える と、 表面硬度低下の点で難しくなる。
防眩層における電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂組成物の添加量は防眩層の固形分 全質量の 1 5質量%以上、 8 5質量%以下が好ましい。
更に、 上記の電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂を紫外線 (U V) 硬化型樹脂として 使用するときは、 これらの中に光重合開始剤として、 ァセトフエノン類、 ベンゾ フエノン類、 ミヒラーべンゾィノレべンゾエー ト、 α—アミ口キシムエステノレ、 チ ォキサントン類や、 光增感剤として η—プチルァミン、 トリェチルァミン、 トリ η—プチルホスフィンなどを混合して使用することができる。
最新 U V硬化技術 (Ρ. 1 5 9, 発行人;高薄一弘, 発行所; (株) 技術情報 協会, 1 9 9 1年発行) にも種々の例が記載されており本発明に有用である。 市販の光重合開始剤としては、 チパ · スペシャルティ ■ケィミカルズ (株) 製 のィルガキュア (6 5 1、 1 8 4、 9 0 7 ) (商品名) 等が好ましい例として挙 げられる。
光重合開始剤は、 電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂 1 0 0質量%に対して、 1〜1 0質量%の範囲で使用することが好ましく、 特に好ましくは 3〜8質量%の範囲 である。
更に、 上記防眩層を形成するための透光性樹脂として、 上記のような電離放射 線硬化型多官能樹脂であるアク リル系樹脂に対して、 溶剤乾燥型樹脂を含ませて もよい。 前記溶剤乾燥型樹脂には、 主として、 熱可塑性樹脂例えば、 セノール樹 脂、 尿素樹脂、 ジァリルフタレート樹脂、 メラミン樹脂、 グアナミン樹脂、 不飽 和ポリエステル樹脂、 ポリウレタン樹脂、 エポキシ樹脂、 アミノアルキッド樹脂、 メラミン一尿素共縮合樹脂、 ケィ素樹脂、 ポリシロキサン樹脂等が用いられる。 電離放射線硬化型樹脂に添加する溶剤乾燥型熱可塑性樹脂の種類は通常用いら れるものが使用されるが、 透明基材フィルムとして特にトリァセチルセルロース ( T A C ) 等のセルロースァシレートフィルムを用いるときには、 電離放射線硬 化型樹脂に含ませる溶剤乾燥型樹脂には、 ニトロセルロース、 ァセチルセルロー ス、 セルロースアセテートプロピオネート、 ェチノレヒ ドロキシェチノレセノレロース 等のセルロース系樹脂が塗膜の密着性及び透明性の点で有利である。 上記のような電離放射線硬化型樹脂組成物の硬化方法としては、 前記電離放射 線硬化型樹脂組成物の通常の硬化方法、 即ち、 電子線又は紫外線の照射によって 硬化することができる。
例えば、 電子線硬化の場合には、 コック口フワルトン型、 バンデグラフ型、 共 振変圧型、 絶縁コア変圧器型、 直線型、 ダイナミ トロン型、 高周波型等の各種電 子線加速器から放出される 50〜1000Ke V、 好ましくは 100〜300K e Vのエネルギーを有する電子線等が使用され、 紫外線硬化の場合には超高圧水 銀灯、 高圧水銀灯、 低圧水銀灯、 カーボンアーク、 キセノンアーク、 メタルハラ ィドランプ等の光線から発する紫外線等が利用できる。
2. 本発明の第 2の態様における防眩フィルム、 反射防止フィルムにあっては、 上記した 1. 防眩層の層成分以外は、 本発明の第 1の態様と同様であってよい。 よって、 2. 低屈折率層、 3. トリァセチルセルロースフィルム、 4. 帯電防止 層、 5. オルガノシラン化合物、 6. 任意成分、 防眩フィルムおよび反射防止フ イルムの製造、 偏光板、 画像表示装置、 験化処理等については、 本発明の第 1の 態様で説明したのと同様であってよい。
実施例
本発明を詳細に説明するために、 以下に実施例を挙げて説明するが、 本発明は これらに限定されるものではない。 なお、 特別の断りの無い限り、 「部」 及び 「%」 は質量基準である。
本発明の第 1の態様
(オルガノシラン化合物の加水分解物の部分縮合物ァの調製)
攪拌機、 還流冷却器を備えた反応器、 メチルェチルケトン 120部、 アタリ口 キシプロピルトリメ トキシシラン (KBM— 5 103 :商品名、 信越化学工業 (株) 製) 100部、 ジイソプロポキシアルミニウムェチルァセトアセテート 3 部を加え混合したのち、 イオン交換水 30部を加え、 60°Cで 4時間反応させた のち、 室温まで冷却し、 オルガノシラン化合物の加水分解物の部分縮合物ァを得 た。 質量平均分子量は 1600であり、 オリゴマー成分以上の成分のうち、 分子 量が 1000〜20000の成分は 100%であった。 また、 ガスクロマトグラ フィー分析から、 原料のァクリロキシプロビルトリメ トキシシランは全く残存し ていなかった。
(オルガノシラン化合物の加水分解物の部分縮合物ィの調製)
攪拌機、 還流冷却器を備えた反応器、 メチルェチルケトン 1 20部、 3—メタ クリロキシプロビルトリメ トキシシラン (KBM— 503 :商品名、 信越化学ェ 業 (株) 製) 1 00部、 ジイソプロポキシアルミニウムェチルァセトアセテート 3部を加え混合したのち、 イオン交換水 30部を加え、 60°Cで 4時間反応させ たのち、 室温まで冷却し、 オルガノシラン化合物の加水分解物の部分縮ノ合物ィを 得た。 質量平均分子量は 1 600であり、 オリゴマー成分以上の成分のうち、 分 子量が 1 000〜 20000の成分は 100 %であった。 また、 ガスクロマトグ ラフィー分析から、 原料の 3—メタクリロキシプロビルトリメ トキシシランは全 く残存していなかった。
(防眩層塗布液 1の調製)
紫外線硬化型樹脂であるペンタエリスリ トールトリアタリレート (商品名 (P ET— 30) : 日本化薬製、 屈折率 1. 5 1) を 26. 64質量部、 同じく紫外 線硬化型樹脂である、 ジペンタエリスリ トールペンタァクリレートとジペンタエ リスリ トールへキサアタリレートの混合物 (DPHA) (日本化薬製、 屈折率 1. 5 1) を 1. 44質量部、 ァクリル系ポリマー (三菱レイヨン製、 分子量 75, 000) を 2. 88質量部、 光硬化開始剤であるィルガキュア 1 84 (商品名、 チバ ·スペシャルティ 'ケミカルズ (株) 製) を 1. 37質量部、 第 1の透光性 微粒子としてのアクリル一スチレンビーズ (綜研化学製、 粒径 3. 5 ;m、 屈折 率 1. 5 5) を 1. 4 9質量部、 第 2の透光性微粒子としてのスチレンビーズ (綜研化学製、 粒径 3. 5 m、 屈折率 1. 60) を 4. 64質量部、 レベリン グ剤 R— 30 (商品名、 大 S本インキ化学製) を 0. 046質量部、 オルガノシ ラン化合物である KBM— 5 1 03 (商品名、 信越化学工業製) を 6. 1 9質量 部、 トルエンを 38. 7 1質量部、 及ぴ、 シクロへキサノンを 1 6. 5 9質量部 を十分混合して塗布液として調整した。 この塗布液を孔径 30 /zmのポリプロピ レン製フィルターでろ過して防眩層塗布液 1を調製した。
(防眩層塗布液 2〜 10の調製) 防眩層塗布液 1に対し、 レべリング剤使用量を下記の表 4に示すように変えた 以外は、 防眩層塗布液 1と全く同じく調製したものを防眩層塗布液 2〜1 0 (実 施例 2〜5、 比較例 1、 実施例 6〜 9の防眩層塗布液) とした。
(防眩層塗布液 1 1〜 1 8の調製)
防眩層塗布液 1に対し、 レべリング剤種類を下記の表 4に示すように変えた以 外は、 防眩層塗布液 1と全く同じく調製したものを防眩層塗布液 1 1〜 1 8 (比 較例 2〜7、 実施例 1 0、 1 1の防眩層塗布液) とした。

防眩層塗布液 1に対し、 オルガノシラン化合物の種類を下記の表 5に示すよう に変えた以外は、 防眩層塗布液 1と全く同じく調製したものを防眩層塗布液 1 9 〜2 3 (実施例 1 2〜1 6の防眩層塗布液) とした。
(防眩層塗布液 2 4〜 3 0の調製)
防眩層塗布液 1に対し、 K B M— 5 1 0 3の使用量を下記の表 5に示すように 変えた以外は、 防眩層塗布液 1と全く同じく調製したものを防眩層塗布液 2 4〜 3 0 (実施例 1 7〜 2 3の防眩層塗布液) とした。
(防眩層塗布液 3 1〜 3 5の調製)
防眩層塗布液 1に対し、 溶剤組成を下記の表 5に示すように変えた以外は、 防 眩層塗布液 1と全く同じく調製したものを防眩性ハードコート塗布液 3 1〜3 5 (実施例 2 4〜 2 8の防眩層塗布液) とした。

防眩層塗布液 1に対し、 通電粒子のブライト GNR4. 6 -EH (商品名、 金 -ニッケルコート樹脂ビーズ、 日本化学工業製、 平均粒径 4. 5 zm、 真球状) を防眩層の全体量の 0. 1 %添加したものを防眩層塗布液 40 (実施例 37の防 眩層塗布液) とした。

(低屈折率層塗布液 Aの調製)
屈折率 1. 44の熱架橋性含フッ素ポリマー (固形分濃度 6 %、 MEK溶液) 1 3 g、 コロイダルシリカ分散液 MEK— ST— L (商品名、 平均粒径 45 nm、 固形分濃度 30%、 日産化学 (株) 製) 1. 3 g、 およぴメチルェチルケトン 5. 6 g、 シクロへキサノン 0. 6 gを添加、 攪拌の後、 孔径 1 t mのポリプロピレ ン製フィルターでろ過して、 低屈折率層塗布液 Aを調製した。
(低屈折率層塗布液 Bの調製)
屈折率 1. 44の熱架橋性含フッ素ポリマー (固形分濃度 6 %、 MEK溶液) 1 3 g、 コロイダルシリカ分散液 MEK— S T— L (商品名、 平均粒径 45 nm、 固形分濃度 30%、 日産化学 (株) 製) 1. 3 g、 前記オルガノシラン化合物の 加水分解物の部分縮合物ァ液 0. 6 g、 およびメチルェチルケトン 5 g、 シクロ へキサノン 0. 6 gを添加、 攪拌の後、 孔径 1 imのポリプロピレン製フィルタ 一でろ過して、 低屈折率層塗布液 B (実施例 29〜35、 実施例 3 7の低屈折率 層塗布液) を調製した。
(低屈折率層塗布液 Cの調製)
屈折率 1. 42の熱架橋性含フッ素ポリマー J N 7228A (商品名、 固形分 濃度 6%、 MEK溶液、 J SR (株) 製) 1 3 g、 コロイダルシリカ分散液 ME K-ST-L (商品名、 平均粒径 45 nm、 固形分濃度 30%、 日産化学 (株) 製) 1. 3 g、 前記オルガノシラン化合物の加水分解物の部分縮合物ァ液 0. 6 g、 およびメチルェチルケトン 5 g、 シクロへキサノン 0. 6 gを添加、 攪拌の 後、 孔径 1 μπιのポリプロピレン製フィルターでろ過して、 低屈折率層塗布液 C (実施例 36の低屈折率層塗布液) を調製した。
(低屈折率層塗布液 Dの調製)
屈折率 44の熱架橋性含フッ素ポリマー (固形分濃度 6 %、 MEK溶液) 1 3 g、 コロイダルシリカ分散液 (平均粒径 45 nm、 固形分濃度 30°/。、 日産 化学 (株) 製) 1. 3 g、 前記オルガノシラン化合物の加水分解物の部分縮合物 ィ液 0. 6 g、 およぴメチルェチルケトン 5 g、 シクロへキサノン 0, 6 gを添 加、 攪拌の後、 孔径 のポリプロピレン製フィルターでろ過して、 低屈折率 層塗布液 Dを調製した。 (低屈折率層塗布液 Eの調製)
屈折率 1. 44の熱架橋性含フッ素ポリマー (固形分濃度 6 %、 MEK溶液) 1 3 g、 コロイダルシリカ分散液 (平均粒径 45 nm、 固形分濃度 30%、 13産 化学 (株) 製) 1. 3 g、 3—アタリロキシプロビルトリメ トキシシラン (KB M— 5 1 03、 信越化学工業 (株) 製) 0. 6 g、 およびメチルェチルケトン 5 g、 シクロへキサノン 0. 6 gを添加、 攪拌の後、 孔径 1 //mのポリプロピレン 製フィルターでろ過して、 低屈折率層塗布液 Eを調製した。
(帯電防止層塗布液の調製)
帯電防止層の材料は C一 4456 S— 7 (商品名、 A TO含有導電インキ、 A TOの平均粒径 300〜400 nm、 固形分濃度 45 % S本ペルノックス製) 2. 0 g、 およびメチルイソプチルケトン 2. 84 g、 シクロへキサノン 1. 2 2 gを添加、 攪袢の後、 孔径 30 ίΐηのポリプロピレン製フィルターでろ過して、 帯電防止層塗布液 Iを調製した。
[実施例 1 ]
(1) 防眩層の塗設
80 μ mの厚さのトリァセチルセルロースフィルム (TD 80U :商品名、 富 士写真フィルム (株) 製) をロール形態で卷き出して、 前記工程で調製した防眩 層塗布液 1を、 乾燥膜厚が 7 /zmになるように塗布し、 1 10でで1分間溶剤乾 燥の後、 さらに窒素パージ下 (酸素濃度 200 p pm以下) で、 紫外線を 5 5m J照射して、 光硬化させ、 防眩層を形成し、 卷き取った。
(2) 低屈折率層の塗設
前記防眩層を塗設したトリァセチルセルロースフィルムを再び卷き出して、 上 記低屈折率層塗布液 Aを乾燥膜厚が 1 00 nmになるように塗布し、 1 20°Cで 70秒乾燥の後、 更に 1 10°Cで 10分乾燥し、 熱硬化させてから、 窒素パージ 下 (酸素濃度 1 0◦ p p m以下) で、 紫外線を 1 20m J照射して、 光硬化させ、 低屈折率層が塗設された反射防止フィルムを形成し、 巻き取った。
(3) 反射防止フィルムの鹼化処理
反射防止フィルム製膜後、 以下の処理を行った。 1. 51H0 1ZLの水酸化ナ トリゥム水溶液を調製し、 55 °Cに保温した。 0. 005mo 1/Lの希硫酸水 溶液を調製し、 3 5 °Cに保温した。 作製した反射防止フィルムを上記の水酸化ナ トリウム水溶液に 2分間浸漬した。 その後、 水に浸漬し水酸化ナトリウム水溶液 を十分に洗い流した。 次いで、 上記の希硫酸水溶液に 1分間浸漬した後、 水に浸 漬し、 希硫酸水溶液を十分に洗い流した。 最後に 1 2 0 °Cで十分に乾燥させた。 このようにして、 実施例 1の鹼化処理済み反射防止フィルムを作製した。 これ を試料 1とした。
(反射防止フィルムの評価)
得られたフィルムについて、 以下の項目の評価を行った。 結果を前記表 4に示 した。
( 1 ) 外観面状評価
反射防止フィルムを、 1 ) 三波長蛍光灯下での透過面状検査、 ならびに、 2 ) 反射防止フィルム面と反対側に油性黒インキを塗り、 三波長蛍光下での反射面状 検査を行って、 面状の均一性 (流動ムラ、 乾燥ムラ、 塗布スジムラなどがないこ と) を詳細に評価した。

( 2 ) 平均積分反射率
反射防止フィルムをクロス-コルの偏光板に張り合わせた後、 分光光度計 (日 本分光 (株) 製) を用いて、 3 8 0〜7 8 0 n mの波長領域において、 入射角 5 ° における分光反射率を測定した。 結果には 4 5 0〜6 5 0 n mの積分球平均反 射率を用いた。 低屈折率層の屈折率により、 積分反射率は上下するが、 同じ低屈 折率層処方の場合は、 下層の防眩層との親和性が悪いと、 微視的な膜厚ムラが生 じて、 結果、 積分反射率が上昇する。
( 3 ) スチールウール耐擦傷性評価
ラビングテスターを用いて、 以下の条件でこすりテストを行った。
評価環境条件: 2 5 °C、 6 0 % R H こすり材:試料と接触するテスターのこ すり先端部 (1 c m X 1 c m) にスチールウール (日本スチールウール (株) 製、 グレード No. 0000) を卷いて、 動かないようバンド固定した。 移動距離 (片道) : 1 3 c m、
こすり速度: 13 cm/秒、
荷重: 500 gZ c m2
先端部接触面積: 1 c mX 1 c m、
こすり回数: 10往復。
こすり終えた試料の裏側に油性黒インキを塗り、 反射光で目視観察して、 こす り部分の傷を、 次の 7段階の基準で評価した。

[実施例 2〜 36 ]
各実施例の試料 2〜36、 各比較例の試料 1〜7は、 防眩層塗布液と低屈折率 層塗布液を表 4〜 6に記載のようにした以外は、 前記実施例試料 1と全く同じに して作製した。
[実施例 37]
実施例試料 37は、 トリァセチルセルロースフィルム上に、 帯電防止層 (AS 層) を下記条件にて塗設し、 その上に、 前記実施例 29の試料と同条件にて、 防 眩層塗布液 40を塗設し、 その上に、 前記実施例 29の試料と同条件にて、 低屈 折率層塗布液 Bを塗設した。
(帯電防止層付き反射防止フィルムの作製)
帯電防止層塗布液をトリァセチルセルロース上に膜厚 1. 2 111となるように コーティングし、 70°Cで 1分間乾燥後、 窒素パージ下で UV (紫外) 光 54m Jを照射してハーフキュアした。 次に、 帯電防止層の上に防眩層塗布液 40を膜 厚 7 mとなるようにコーティングし、 1 10°Cで 20秒、 50°Cで 20秒乾燥 後、 窒素パージ下で UV光 55m Jを照射してハーフキュアした。 防眩層塗布液 40は、 防眩層塗布液 1に通電粒子のブライト GNR 4. 6 -EH (商品名、 金 —ニッケルコート樹脂ビーズ: 日本化学工業製) を防眩層の全体量の 0. 1 %添 加したものを用いた。 更に、 この防眩層の上に、 低屈折率層塗布液 Bを用いて、 前記の低屈折率層の塗設と同様にして低屈折率層を作製した。
(実施例、 比較例の結果のまとめ)
上記表 4〜 6に示した結果をまとめると以下の通りであった。
1) 各実施例のレべリング剤は、 外観面状と諸性能 (耐擦傷性、 積分反射率) において、 各比較例に比べて非常に優れ、 外観面状と諸性能 (耐擦傷性、 積分反 射率) を両立させるものであった。
2) 実施例 1、 1 0、 1 1のレべリング剤は、 少なくとも 1種の炭素数 8以上 のパーフルォロアルキル基を有する (メタ) アクリル酸系の繰り返し単位、 およ ぴ少なくとも 1種のポルナン環を有する (メタ) アクリル酸系の繰り返し単位、 に加え、 ポリエチレンォキシド基又はポリプロピレンォキシド基を有する (メ タ) アクリル酸系の繰り返し単位、 を含む共重合体からなるレべリング剤であり、 特に前記 1 ) の効果が優れていた。
3) 各実施例によれば、 レべリング剤の分子量は、 より好ましくは 3 0 0 0〜 1 3 0 00であることが分かる。
4) 実施例 24〜2 8によれば、 ベリング剤使用時には、 塗布溶剤にトルエン を用いることが望ましいことが分かる。
5) 実施例 1 7と他の実施例との比較によれば、 防眩層にオルガノシラン化合 物 (加水分解物、 部分縮合物) を使用すると、 外観面状を良好なまま、 更に耐擦 傷性のレベルァップが図れることが分かる。
6) 実施例 2 9〜3 7と他の実施例との比較によれば、 レべリング剤を使用す る際、 低屈折率層にも、 オルガノシラン化合物 (加水分解物、 部分縮合物) を使 用すると、 外観面状を良好なまま、 更にいっそうの耐擦傷性のレベルアップが図 れることが分かる。
7) 実施例 3 7によれば、 帯電防止層を付与することにより、 表面抵抗が I X 1 0" {Q/U) 以上から 2 X 1 08 (Ω/D) に低減し、 埃付着性が非常に良好 な、 帯電防止層付き反射防止フィルムが得られた。
本発明の第 2の態様 本発明を詳細に説明するために、 以下に実施例を挙げて説明するが、 本発明は これらに限定されるものではない。 なお、 特別の断りの無い限り、 「部」 及び 「%」 は質量基準である。
(オルガノシラン化合物の加水分解物の部分縮合物ァの調製)
攪拌機、 還流冷却器を備えた反応器、 メチルェチルケトン 1 20部、 アタ リ口 キシプロビルト リメ トキシシラン (KBM— 5 1 0 3 :商品名、 信越化学工業 (株) 製) 1 00部、 ジイソプロポキシアルミニウムェチルァセトアセテート 3 部を加え混合したのち、 イオン交換水 30部を加え、 60°Cで 4時間反応させた のち、 室温まで冷却し、 オルガノシラン化合物の加水分解物の部分縮合物ァを得 た。 質量平均分子量は 1 600であり、 オリゴマー成分以上の成分のうち、 分子 量が 1 000〜20000の成分は 1 00%であった。 また、 ガスクロマトグラ フィー分析から、 原料のァクリロキシプロピルトリメ トキシシランは全く残存し ていなかった。
(防眩層用塗布液 1の調製)

(帯電防止層用塗布液 Iの調整)
透明導電層形成用組成物 AS P— B J— 1 (商品名、 住友大阪セメント (株) 製) 1 00 g、 紫外線硬化型樹脂である PET— 30 (商品名、 ペンタエリスリ トールトリァクリレート、 Θ本化薬 (株) 製、 屈折率 1. 5 1) 1 0 gを攪拌混 合し、 孔径 30 μπιのポリプロピレン製フィルターでろ過して、 帯電防止層用塗 布液 Iを調製した。 尚、 AS P— B J— 1は下記組成からなるものである。
ATO : 6質量%
ペンタエリスリ トールトリアタリレートほか: 14質量0 /0 メチルェチルケトン、 イソプタノールほか: 80質量%
[実施例試料 1 ]
(1) 防眩層の塗設
80 μ mの厚さのトリァセチルセルロースフィルム (TD80U :商品名、 富 士写真フィルム (株) 製) をロール形態で巻き出して、 防眩詹用塗布液 1を、 乾 燥膜厚が 7 mになるように塗布し、 110でで 10秒間、 50でで 20秒間、 溶剤乾燥の後、 さらに窒素パージ下 (酸素濃度 200 p pm以下) で、 積算光量 が 55m Jになるように UV照射 (ハーフキュア) して、 光硬化させ、 防眩層を 形成し、 巻き取った。
(2) 低屈折率層の塗設
前記防眩層を塗設したトリアセチルセルロースフィルムを再び巻き出して、 上 記低屈折率層用塗布液 Aを乾燥膜厚が l O O nmになるように塗布し、 120°C で 70秒乾燥の後、 更に 1 10°Cで 10分乾燥し、 熱硬化させてから、 窒素パー ジ下 (酸素濃度 1 O O p pm以下) で、 積算光量が 12 Om Jになるように UV 照射 (フルキュア) して、 光硬化させ、 低屈折率層が塗設された反射防止フィル ムを形成し、 卷き取った。
(3) 反射防止フィルムの鹼化処理
反射防止フィルム製膜後、 以下の処理を行った。
1. 5mo 1 /Lの水酸化ナトリウム水溶液を調製し、 55 °Cに保温した。 0. 005mo 1 ZLの希硫酸水溶液を調製し、 35°Cに保温した。 作製した反射防 止フィルムを上記の水酸化ナトリウム水溶液に 2分間浸漬した。
その後、 水に浸漬し水酸化ナトリウム水溶液を十分に洗い流した。 次いで、 上 記の希硫酸水溶液に 1分間浸漬した後、 水に浸漬し希硫酸水溶液を十分に洗い流 した。 最後に試料を 120°Cで十分に乾燥させた。
このようにして、 鹼化処理済み反射防止フィルムを作製した。 これを実施例試 料 1とする。
[実施例試料 2〜 34、 比較例試料 1〜 5 ]
前記表 4及び表 5のように、 防眩層塗布液、 低屈折率層塗布液を変更した以外 は、 実施例試料 1と全く同様にして作製した試料を実施例試料 2〜34、 比較例 試料 1〜 5とした。
(反射防止フィルムの評価)
得られたフィルムについて、 以下の項目の評価を行った。 結果を前記表 4及 び表 5に示した。
(1) 硬化収縮ムラ (折れシヮ状) 面状評価
平滑なガラス板を用意し、 一方のガラス面にクロスニコルの偏光板を貼り付け (黒面にする) 、 その反対のガラス面に粘着剤を貼り付け、 その上に反射防止フ イルムを均一に貼って、 面状検査用サンプルを作製した。 これを三波長蛍光下で の反射面状検查を行って、 硬化収縮ムラ (折れシヮ状) 面状を詳細に評価した。

(2) 鉛筆硬度 (表面硬度) の測定
反射防止フィルムを温度 25 °C、 相対湿度 60 %の環境下で 2時間調湿し、 J I S— S— 6006が規定する試験用鉛筆を用いて、 J I S— K— 5400に規 定される鉛筆硬度の評価方法に従い、 鉛筆硬度を評価した。 荷重は 4. 9 Nとし た。 n = 5回のテス トを行い、 5回中 3回以上フィルムが未破壌であれば、 その 鉛筆硬度で OKとした。
B〜HB : 目標未達
H、 2H、 3 H: 目標到達 (Hよりも 2 H、 2Hよりも 3Hが優れる) 実施例試料 3 5は、 トリァセチルセルロースフィルム上に、 下記製膜条件にて、 帯電防止層 (AS層) と、 その上に、 防眩層用塗布液 38を塗設し、 更にその上 に、 実施例 1試料と同条件にて、 低屈折率層塗布液 Aを塗設した。
(実施例試料 3 5における帯電防止層、 防眩層の製膜条件)
帯電防止層用塗布液 Iをトリァセチルセルロースフィルム (TD 8 OU:商品 名、 富士写真フィルム (株) 製) 上に膜厚 1. 2 /zniとなるようにコーティング し、 60°Cで 30秒間乾燥後、 窒素パージ下 (酸素濃度 200 p pm以下) で積 算光量が 70m Jになるように UV照射 (ハーフキュア) し、 帯電防止層を製膜 した。 次に、 帯電防止層の上に防眩層用塗布液 38を実効の防眩層膜厚が 5. 5 μηιとなるようにコーティングし、 40°Cで 30秒乾燥後、 窒素パージ下 (酸素 濃度 200 p pm以下) で積算光量が 3 9 m Jになるように UV照射 (ハーフキ ユア) し、 防眩層を製膜した。 防眩層用塗布液 38は、 防眩層用塗布液 1に導電 材料 (通電粒子) のブライ ト GNR4. 6 -EH (商品名、 金一ニッケルコート 樹脂ビーズ: 日本化学工業 (株) 製) を防眩層の全体量の 0. 1%添加したもの である。 更に、 この防眩層の上に、 低屈折率層用塗布液 Aを用いて、 実施例試料 1と同条件にて塗設と同様にして、 最終的に反射防止フィルムを作製した。
(結果のまとめ)
十分な表面硬度を確保し、 かつ、 硬化収縮ムラが目立たず (外観上の異常感と して認識されない) 、 大面積化かつ均一性状の市場要求に対応できる、 防眩フィ ルム、 およびこれを用いた反射防止フィルムを提供するという課題に対し、 表 4 及び表 5より下記がわかり、 本発明が非常に有効であると言える。
1) 少なくとも 1種が 3官能のアクリル系樹脂からなることが外観面状と鉛 筆硬度の両立に有効である。
2) 3官能のァクリル系樹脂の少なくとも 1種がペンタエリスリ トールトリ アタリレートであることにより外観面状の点で更に有利になる。
3) 3官能のアクリル系樹脂が、 電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂全質量に対し て、 5 5質量%以上であることが鉛筆硬度 2 Hを確保する点で有効である。
4) 3官能のアクリル系樹脂以外に、 2官能のアクリル系樹脂を少なくとも 1種含むことにより外観面状を更に良化できる。
5) 2官能のアクリル系樹脂の少なくとも 1種がイソシァヌル酸ェトキシ変 性ジァクリレートであることにより外観面状を最も良化できる。
6) 2官能のアクリル系樹脂が、 電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂全質量に対し て、 1 0質量%以上、 45質量%以下であることが外観面状の更なる良化と鉛筆 硬度 2 H確保の両立に有効である。
7) 重合開始剤の含有比率が、 電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂全質量に対して、 3質量%以上、 8質量%以下であることが外観面状の更なる良化と鉛筆硬度 2 H 確保の両立に有効である。 8) 表面抵抗を測定すると、 実施例試料 3 5以外は 1 X 1014 (Ω /口) 以 上であり、 実施例試料 3 5では、 帯電防止層を付与することにより、 2 X 1 08 (Ω /口) に低減するため、 外観面状と鉛筆硬度に優れた、 しかも、 埃付着防止 性が特に良好な、 帯電防止層付き反射防止フィルムが提供できる。
本発明の用途
本発明の第 1および第 2の態様による防眩フィルム (反射防止フィルム) は、 液晶表示装置 (LCD) 、 プラズマディスプレイパネル (PDP) 、 エレク ト口 ルミネッセンスディスプレイ (ELD) や陰極管表示装置 (CRT) のような画 像表示装置に適用することができる。 本発明の反射防止フィルムは透明基材フィ ルムを有しているので、 透明基材フィルム側を画像表示装置の画像表示面に接着 して用いられる。
本発明の第 1およぴ第 2の態様による防眩フィルム (反射防止フィルム) は、 偏光膜の表面保護フィルムの片側として用いた場合、 ッイステツトネマチック (TN) 、 スーパーッイステツトネマチック (STN) 、 バーティカルァライメ ント (VA) 、 ィンプレインスィツチング ( I P S) 、 ォプティカリーコンペン セィテツトベンドセル (OCB) 等のモードの透過型、 反射型、 または半透過型 の液晶表示装置に好ましく用いることができる。 また、 特に 1 9インチサイズ以 上の液晶モェター、 あるいは液晶テレビに用いることが好適である。

Claims

請 求 の 範 囲
1 . トリァセチルセルロースフィルムの上に、 防眩層を積層してなる防眩フ イノレムであって、
前記防眩層が、 アクリル系樹脂からなる透光性樹脂と、 プラスチック製透光性 微粒子と、 少なく とも 1種の炭素数 8以上のパーフルォロアルキル基を有する (メタ) ァクリル酸系の繰り返し単位おょぴ少なくとも 1種のポルナン環を有す る (メタ) アクリル酸系の繰り返し単位を含む共重合体からなるレべリング剤と を含んでなるものであり、
前記防眩層の屈折率より低い低屈折率層を前記防眩層の上に積層してなる反射 防止フィルムを構成するために供される、 防眩フィルム。
2 . 前記プラスチック製透光性微粒子を 2種類以上含んでなる、 請求項 1に 記載の防眩フィルム。
3 . 前記トリァセチルセルロースフィルムと前記防眩層との間に、 少なくと も電離放射線硬化型樹脂と導電材料とを含んでなる帯電防止層が形成されてなり、 且つ
該帯電防止層と前記防眩フィルムの最表面との導通を確保する通電粒子を前記 防眩層中に含んでなる、 請求項 1または 2に記載の防眩フィルム。
4 . 前記防眩層、 前記低屈折率層または前記帯電防止層が、 下記一般式 [ I ] :

(上記式中、
R 1(1は水素原子、 アルキル基またはァリ一ル基を表し、
Xは水酸基または加水分解可能な基を表し、
mは 1 ~ 3の整数を表す。 )
で表されるオルガノシラン化合物および Zまたは該オルガノシラン化合物の加 水分解物および/またはその部分縮合物を含んでなる、 請求項 1〜 3のいずれか 一項に記載の防眩フィルム。
5 . トリァセチルセルロースフィルムの上に、 防眩層と、 前記防眩層の屈折 率より低い低屈折率層とをこれらの順で積層してなる反射防止フィルムであって、 前記防眩層が、 アクリル系樹脂からなる透光性樹脂と、 プラスチック製透光性 微粒子と、 少なくとも 1種の炭素数 8以上のパーフルォロアルキル基を有する (メタ) ァクリル酸系の繰り返し単位および少なくとも 1種のボルナン環を有す る (メタ) アクリル酸系の繰り返し単位を含む共重合体からなるレべリング剤と を含んでなる、 反射防止フィルム。
6 . プラスチック製透光性微粒子を 2種類以上含んでなる、 請求項 5に記載 の反射防止フィルム。
7 . 前記トリァセチルセルロースフィルムと前記防眩層との間に、 少なくと も電離放射線硬化型樹脂と導電材料とを含んでなる帯電防止層が形成されてなり、 且つ
該帯電防止層と前記反射防止フィルムの最表面との導通を確保する通電粒子を 前記防眩層中に含んでなる、 請求項 5または 6に記載の反射防止フィルム。
8 . 前記防眩層、 前記低屈折率層または前記帯電防止層が、 下記一般式 [ I ] :
( R 10) n - S i ( X) 4-» [ I ]
(上記式中、
R 1Qは水素原子、 アルキル基またはァリール基を表し、
Xは水酸基または加水分解可能な基を表し、
mは 1〜3の整数を表す。 )
で表されるオルガノシラン化合物および または該オルガノシラン化合物の加 水分解物および Zまたはその部分縮合物を含んでなる、 請求項 5〜 7のいずれか 一項に記載の反射防止フィルム。
9 . 偏光素子と、 該偏光素子の表面に、 前記トリァセチルセルロースフィル ムにおける前記防眩層と反対側の面を向けて積層されてなる請求項 5〜 8のいず れか 1項に反射防止フィルムと、 を備えてなる、 偏光板。
1 0 . 透光性表示体と、 前記透光性表示体を背面から照射する光源装置とを 備えてなる画像表示装置であって、
前記透光性表示体の表面に、 請求項 1〜 4のいずれか 1項に記載の防眩フィル ム、 請求項 5〜 8のいずれか 1項に記載の反射防止フィルムまたは請求項 9に記 載の偏光板が積層されてなる、 画像表示装置。
1 1 . トリァセチルセルロースフィルムの上に、 防眩層を積層してなる防眩 フイノレムであって、
前記防眩層が、 プラスチック製透光性微粒子と、 少なくとも 1種の炭素数 8以 上のパーフルォロアルキル基を有する (メタ) アクリル酸系の繰り返し単位およ ぴ少なくとも 1種のボルナン環を有する (メタ) アクリル酸の繰り返し単位とを 含む共重合体からなるレべリング剤と、 少なくとも 1種が 3官能のァクリル系樹 脂からなる透光性の電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂とを含む硬化性組成物から形成 されてなり、
前記防眩層の屈折率よりも低い低屈折率層を前記防眩層の上に積層してなる反 射防止フィルムを構成するために供される、 防眩フィルム。
1 2 . 前記 3官能のアクリル系樹脂の添加量が、 前記透光性の電離放射線硬 化型多官能樹脂全質量に対して 5 5質量。 /0以上である、 請求項 1 1に記載の防眩 フィルム。
1 3 . 前記透光性の電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂が、 前記 3官能のアクリル 系樹脂以外に、 2官能のアクリル系樹脂を少なくとも 1種含んでなる、 請求項 1 1又は 1 2に記載の防眩フィルム。
14. 前記 2官能のアクリル系樹脂の添加量が、 前記透光性の電離放射線硬 化型多官能樹脂全質量に対して 10質量%以上 45質量%以下である、 請求項 1 3に記載の防眩フィルム。
1 5. 前記トリァセチルセルロースフィルムと前記防眩層との間に、 透光性 の電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂と導電材料とを含む硬化性組成物とを含んでなる 帯電防止層が形成され、 且つ
該帯電防止層と前記反射防止フィルムの最表面との導通を確保する通電粒子が 前記防眩層中に含まれてなる、 請求項 1 1〜14のいずれか 1項に記載の防眩フ ィノレム。
1 6. 前記防眩層、 前記低屈折率層または前記帯電防止層が、 下記一般式 [ I] :

(上記式中
R 1(5は水素原子、 アルキル基またはァリール基を表し、
Xは水酸基または加水分解可能な基を表し、
mは 1〜 3の整数を表す。 )
で表されるオルガノシラン化合物およぴ Zまたは、 該オルガノシラン化合物の加 水分解物および/またはその部分縮合物を含んでなる、 請求項 1 1〜1 5のいず れか 1項に記載の防眩フィルム。
1 7. 前記プラスチック製透光性微粒子を 2種類以上含んでなる、 請求項 1 1〜 1 6のいずれか 1項に記載の防眩フィルム。
1 8. トリァセチルセルロースフィルム上に、 防眩層と、 該防眩層より屈折 率の低い低屈折率層とをこれらの順で積層してなる反射防止フィルムであって、 前記防眩層が、 プラスチック製透光性微粒子と、 少なくとも 1種の炭素数 8以 上のパーフルォロアルキル基を有する (メタ) アクリル酸系の操り返し単位およ ぴ少なくとも 1種のポルナン環を有する (メタ) アクリル酸の繰り返し単位とを 含む共重合体からなるレべリング剤と、 少なくとも 1種が 3官能のァクリル系樹 脂を含む透光性の電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂を含んでなる硬化性組成物から形 成されてなる、 反射防止フィルム。
1 9 . 前記 3官能のアクリル系樹脂の添加量が、 前記透光性の電離放射線硬 化型多官能樹脂全質量に対して 5 5質量。 /0以上である、 請求項 1 8に記載の反射 防止フィ ム。
2 0 . 前記透光性の電離放射線硬化型多官能樹脂が、 前記 3官能のァクリル 系樹脂以外に、 2官能のアクリル系樹脂を少なくとも 1種含んでなる、 請求項 1 8又は 1 9に記載の反射防止フィルム。
2 1 . 前記 2官能のアクリル系樹脂の添加量が、 前記透光性の電離放射線硬 化型多官能樹脂全質量に対して 1 0質量%以上 4 5質量%以下である、 請求項 2 0に記載の反射防止フィルム。
2 2 . 前記トリァセチルセルロースフィルムと前記防眩層との間に、 電離放 射線硬化型多官能樹脂と導電材料とを含む硬化性組成物から形成された帯電防止 層が形成され、 且つ
該帯電防止層と前記反射防止フィルムの最表面との導通を確保する通電粒子が 前記防眩層中に含まれてなる、 請求項 1 8〜2 1のいずれか 1項に記載の反射防 止フイノレム。
2 3 . 前記防眩層、 前記低屈折率層または前記帯電防止層が、 下記一般式 [ I ] :

R 1 Qは水素原子、 アルキル基またはァリール基を表し、
Xは水酸基または加水分解可能な基を表し、
mは 1〜3の整数を表す。 )
で表されるオルガノシラン化合物および Zまたは該オルガノシラン化合物の加 水分解物および/またはその部分縮合物を含んでなる、 請求項 1 8〜2 2のいず れか 1項に記載の反射防止フィルム。
2 4 . 前記プラスチック製透光性微粒子を 2種類以上含んでなる、 請求項 1 8〜2 3のいずれか 1項に記載の反射防止フィルム。
2 5 . 偏光膜と、 該偏光膜の表面に、 前記トリァセチルセルロースフィルム における前記防眩層と反対の面を向けて積層されてなる請求項 1 1〜1 7のいず れかの防眩フィルムまたは請求項 1 8〜 2 4のいずれか 1項に記載の反射防止フ イルムとを備えてなる、 偏光板。
2 6 . 透光性表示体と、 前記透光性表示体を背面から照射する光源装置とを 備えてなる、 画像表示装置であって、
前記透光性表示体の表面に、 請求項 1 1〜1 7のいずれかの防眩フィルム、 請 求項 1 8〜2 4のいずれか 1項に記載の反射防止フィルム、 または請求項 2 5に 記載の偏光板が積層されてなる、 画像表示装置。
