Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de guidage de matières à laminer destiné à des cages duo de laminage horizontales, comportant une paire de cylindres pouvant être introduits/retirés dans/de la cage de laminoir tandis que les inserts de palier (LS) de ladite paire de cylindres reposent sur un chariot support (TW). Des éléments de guidage (OFE, UFE) destinés aux barres de laminage (WB) portant la bande de matière à laminer, pouvant coulisser axialement et s'étendant parallèlement à l'axe des cylindres, sont disposés au dessus ou en dessous du plan de déplacement de la bande de matière à laminer traversant la cage de laminoir. Les barres de laminage (WB) portant les éléments de guidage (OFE, UFE) peuvent être reliées aux extrémités libres d'une paire de supports de barres de laminage (WT) reliée fixement à l'insert de palier (LS) du cylindre correspondant (WZ) et faisant saillie parallèlement au sens de laminage.
