Its is however also possible with the method and apparatus to do away with a heating of the content of the vessel and to use instead of a melting medium one or another kind of cold solvent (for instance diesel oil).
  • the diameter of the base plate 3 and the press plate 4 is such that these plates 3, 4 fit more or less closely in the vessel 7, whereby in between the outer circumference 18 of the plates 3, 4 and the inner wall 19 of the vessel a play 20 is present.
  • the dimension of this play can vary and is about 1 mm in this example of an embodiment. This play is so small that it functions as a sealing between the inner wall of the vessel and the outer circumference of the plates. In an embodiment on a larger scale of the apparatus the problem may come up that this lateral sealing between the plates and the wall poses a problem due to the circumstance that the wall runs out of line or is corrugated.

Abstract

L"invention concerne une procédé et un appareil destinés au recyclage de matériaux bitumineux ou goudronné, plus particulièrement destiné au recyclage de matériaux de couverture de toit constitués de bitume ou de goudron et de tout produit appliqué tel que des nappes de polyester, de verre, ou de tissu ou de produit du même genre, de copeaux d"ardoise ou du même genre et d"autres composants possibles formant des matériaux de toiture, tels que des matériaux isolants adhésifs ou non, constitués de polyuréthanne, polystyrène, laine minérale ou de composés du même genre. Le procédé consistant à introduire les matériaux bitumineux ou goudronné dans une cuve et à faire fondre, dans cette cuve, le composant bitumineux ou de goudron des matériaux, est caractérisé en ce que les matériaux bitumineux ou goudronné de la cuve sont placés dans un récipient séparé réservé aux matériaux bitumineux ou goudronné, alors que le bitume ou le goudron et d"autres composants, formant les matériaux, sont séparés les uns des autres dans le récipient par application d"une force sur les matériaux contenant du bitume ou du goudron, telle qu"une force de pression ou une force centrifuge amenée à s"exercer sur les matériaux.
