- the sheave clutch surface 36 and the hub clutch surface 42 cooperate to define a clutch free volume 68 surrounding the clutch member 24.
- the clutch lubricant 26 occupies from approximately 50% to approximately 90% of the clutch free volume 68, and the bearing lubricant 30 occupies from approximately 20% to approximately 45% of the bearing free volume 66. In alternative embodiments, the clutch lubricant 26 may occupy more or less than the preferred percentage, and the bearing lubricant 30 may occupy more or less than the preferred percentage.
