Definitions
- the present invention relates to a technology for reducing a harmonic current, that is, a technology for improving a power factor, without lowering the efficiency in a switching type AC-DC converter or a power supply for an inverter type field lighting device. In this way, miniaturization and improvement of reliability and cost reduction will be achieved.
- the present invention relates to a power supply device that secures a holding time at the time of a power outage and reduces ripple voltage, if necessary.
- the present invention relates to a technology that combines the efficiency of a forward converter while taking advantage of the characteristics of a flyback converter that is easy to control.
- a method of reducing the harmonic current of the power supply that is, a method of improving the power factor
- a so-called active filter or a C-converter without a smoothing capacitor on the input side.
- a pulsating flow is switched as it is without providing a smoothing capacitor after rectification, and a sufficient power factor can be obtained although it is very simple and necessary.
- drawbacks such as increased ripples and difficulty in maintaining the hold time for a power failure of about 0.02 seconds. For this reason, there is a case where a so-called two-converter system is used, in which a DC-DC converter is provided again after the active filter.
- the present invention is intended to reduce the loss caused by the two-converter system controlling by two-stage switching and to improve the efficiency.
- the second purpose is to improve the power factor without lowering the efficiency with a single converter, and to secure the retention time and improve the ripple characteristics.
- single converter type switching power supplies are classified into a flyback type and a forked type.
- the former has the drawback that the control is easy but the efficiency is rather low and the transformer becomes large.
- the latter is efficient and has a low trans- duction. However, a reset current must be passed to prevent core saturation, and control is not easy due to this handling restriction. Absent. For this reason, most C converters are realized by the flyback method.
- the first invention of the present application is directed to a switching transformer or a choke coil having no smoothing action, that is, a pulsating power supply, and a switching transformer having a smoothing action, that is, a switching switch for a DC power supply.
- a power factor, holding time, and ripple are secured by a method in which a lance or a choke coil is provided in parallel and switching is performed by one switching element, and the outputs of both are combined. While improving efficiency. In other words, since the current passes in parallel, both of them have only one switching gloss, which increases the efficiency.
- the combination method that suits the circuit can be selected whether it is serial or parallel.
- a DC power supply in which power is directly supplied to a load from a converter for switching a pulsating flow, thereby resulting in a drawback of a ripple and a holding time is provided on a separate route in parallel.
- Switching DC Compensates with a DC converter.
- the output voltage is twice the root, that is, 1.41 times or 2 roots.
- the DC power supply to be synthesized has a simplified configuration without using a switching circuit. It is.
- the fourth invention of the present application is configured to reduce the output ripple and improve the power factor by appropriately adding a commercial ripple component to the control signal. is there.
- the fifth invention of the present application is a control method for making the current balance between the pulsating flow side and the DC side appropriate, and an appropriate ratio is determined in advance by the distributor, or on the other hand. It is structured to take measures to maintain an appropriate ratio in a way that the other side is linked.
- the pure flyback converter stores energy in the core when the switching element is on, and discharges the energy to the secondary side when the switching element is off. For this reason, a certain size is required.
- the core also needs a gap to prevent magnetic saturation, which causes an increase in loss.
- the forward converter emits energy to the secondary side when it is turned on, so the core may be small, and there is no need to provide a gap.
- a reset current must be supplied, and the duty cycle cannot be increased due to this restriction, so that free control is difficult.
- the output circuit of the forward converter is supplemented in the flyback converter so as to approach the high efficiency of the forward converter while ensuring the easiness of the control of the flyback converter. This is used in parallel, and these are used in parallel.
- the core is stored at the time of turning on, and is also supplied to the load at the same time, so that the core can be reduced accordingly.
- the gap can be narrowed, so that efficiency can be improved.
- the seventh invention of the present application combines these outputs by paying attention to the fact that even when the partial resonance technique is used, parallel operation of flyback and feed can be suitably combined. It is configured to be used You. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

- FIGS. 12A and 12B are circuit diagrams in which the embodiment shown in FIG. 10 of the present invention is applied to a lighting fixture.
- FIG. 12A shows a circuit using a voltage doubler rectifier circuit, and FIG. Is used.
- FIG. 13 is a diagram showing waveforms of the embodiment shown in FIG. 10 and the like of the present invention.
- the AC input is rectified by the rectifier circuits 102 and 103 through the high frequency blocking filter 1101.
- the 102 side becomes a pulsating flow, is switched at 105 through a transformer 104, is rectified by a rectifier circuit 106 on the secondary side, and a current i 1 is obtained.
- the side of the rectifier circuit 103 is smoothed by the smoothing capacitor 107 to be a direct current, passed through the second transformer 108 and switched at 109, and the rectifier circuit 110
- the current is rectified by 0 and the current i 2 is obtained.
- the total current of i 1 and i 2 is charged into the capacitor 11 1 to become the output current i 3.
- the voltage at both ends of the capacitor 111 is distributed at an appropriate ratio by the distributor 112, and a feedback loop is formed to supply the low-speed servo circuit 113 and the high-speed servo circuit 114. I have.
- the switching element 105 has a slow control that cannot follow the ripple, so that a ripple occurs in the current i 1. Of course, this helps to improve the power factor.
- the switching element 109 side has a high speed such that the instantaneous i 1 + i 2 is constant so as to eliminate the ripple while maintaining an appropriate ratio of the average current of i 1 and i 2. Feedback loop is working.
- the current of either route is only once switching gloss, so that the efficiency is improved compared to the two-converter system receiving double switching gloss.
- the size can be reduced much more than two converters.
- the explanation was made by combining currents. It is preferable to connect the rectifier circuit on the secondary side in series and combine the output voltages when the power supply is also operating in the foreground. (A) of FIG. 8 illustrates this output circuit portion.
- the input current waveform is a composite (Fig. 6 (f)) of a pulsating sinusoidal waveform (Fig. 6 (e)) and a pulse-like waveform (Fig. 6 (d)) using a DC side condenser. Therefore, the power factor is less than that of the two-converter system, but it can be well within the range of regulation.
- Fig. 2 shows an example where there is no need for insulation.
- the same reference numerals are used for the parts that are common to Fig. 1, and a description of common operations is omitted.
- inductors 201 and 202 are used instead of the first and second transformers 104 and 108.
- the problem with such parallel operation is the current balance.
- a control method that is different from that of the present embodiment, that is, a control method in which the average current of the other converter is linked to the average current of the other converter may be used. In this case, the control is easier if the power supply side of the main with the ripple is linked at a low speed, based on the correction that requires a high-speed operation to cancel the ripple.
- the switching elements 105 and 109 and the rectifier circuits 106 and 110 can be shared. Is also good. In this case, too, two different types of converters are used in parallel, so that the desired effect can be obtained. In the example of Fig. 2, switching is performed for both the first and second power supplies, but Fig. 10 (a) simplifies the DC output side and omits the switching circuit.
- the figure shows an example of double voltage rectification. The voltage doubler can be simplified to a half-wave voltage regulator as shown in Fig. 11 (a) and Fig. 12 (a) described later.
- the average current value on the DC output side obtained by the voltage doubler rectifier circuit 1001 is detected by the current detector 1003, and the output current amount on the pulsating flow side having a switching circuit is tracked.
- the control method is such that the control loop is not particularly required when the load current is constant.
- the load in this example is not particularly limited, and can be applied to a power supply of various electric devices using a DC motor.
- the circuit example in (b) of Fig. 10 is not a choke coil or autotransform, but is a transformer 1000 so that it can be combined with the dual-wave rectifier circuit 1002. This is an example combined with 4.
- the same function as (a) in Fig. 10 is achieved by controlling the pulse width according to the output current of the double-wave rectification circuit.
- the control circuit 1003 is divided into a high-speed 1003f and a low-speed 1003s. High speed side If there is no, the operation is the same as (a 1) to (a 3) on the left side of Fig. 13 except that a high-speed 1003 f is added, and the current in the reverse direction, that is, the DC side is large.
- modulation is performed to lower the duty cycle, so that a dent can be created at the peak as shown in (b2) in the middle right of the figure.
- harmonics of the combined current are reduced.
- a control method devised so that a current balance can be obtained is also a feature of the present invention.
- the circuit (a) in Fig. 11 is an example in which the present invention is applied to a switching power supply of a half-bridge double-voltage rectifier circuit 1101, and the lower diode 1104 is May be changed to a capacitor. Also, as in this example, when an FET is used, there is a body diode, so the lower diode 1104 is short-circuited and the upper diode 1103 is short-circuited. It can be omitted because it becomes an oven.
- This example can be applied not only to a switching power supply but also to a power supply for lighting equipment.
- the circuit shown in (b) of FIG. 11 is an example in which the present invention is applied to the switching power supply of the half-bridge 112, and the transformer 11 1 is designed so that it can be combined with a double-wave rectifier circuit. This is an example combined with 0 5.
- the lower capacitor 1106 may be changed to a diode.
- the present invention can be applied not only to a switching power supply but also to a lighting equipment power supply.
- the circuit of (a) in FIG. 12 is an example in which the present invention is applied to a power supply of a lighting device using a voltage doubler circuit 1201, and the diode 1204 can be changed to a capacitor.
- Reference numeral 125 denotes a lighting tube of the lighting device. This example is not limited to lighting equipment, but can be applied to a switching power supply.
- the circuit of (b) in FIG. 12 is an example of a circuit for a lighting fixture using a transformer 1206 in order to suitably combine with the dual-wave rectifier circuit 122. In this case as well, the capacitor 127 can be changed to a diode. Ma
- the present invention can be applied to a switching power supply.
- FIG. 3 shows an example of the single converter in which the switching elements 105 and 109 are shared by one element 301 in the embodiment of FIG. Due to the effect of reducing the ripple of the feed knock by 114, i2 has an opposite ripple waveform, and the same operation as that of FIG. 1 is performed. Both the pulsating component and the direct component are output in a single switching gloss, improving efficiency.
- FIG. 8 shows an example of an output circuit in which windings are connected in series.
- FIG. 4 a circuit in which the portions A, B, and C surrounded by broken lines do not exist will be described first.
- the state in which these parts do not exist indicates a conventional converter, in which the pulsating current passes through a ⁇ -type filter 101 for blocking AC input high frequency and a rectifier circuit 102, and Supplied to switching transformer 401.
- the switching element 105 When the switching element 105 is turned on, a current flows through the winding 402 of the switching transformer 401. This energy is stored in the core of 401.
- the switching element 105 is turned off, the energy stored in the core is transferred from the winding 403 through the diode 404 to the capacitor 111.
- the control circuit 40 includes a backup oscillator so that oscillation does not stop even if a signal from the winding 406 does not come in due to a power failure at the time of start or moment. ing.
- Reference numeral 408 denotes a power supply for operating the control circuit 407.
- a flyback C-resonator incorporates a partial resonance technology that resonates only one or two periods, which is a type of soft switching technology. This operation corresponds to the case where the currents of the diodes 41 1 and 41 2 of the circuit indicated by the broken line A are set to 0 (operations where the operation waveforms (d) and (e) in FIG. .
- the present invention resides in that the current of the diodes 411 and 412 is also added by adding the output circuit of the portion indicated by the broken line A, that is, the forward converter.
- the switching element 105 When the switching element 105 is on, a current also flows to the diode 411, and the capacitor 111 is charged through the inductor 413.
- the switching element 105 When the switching element 105 is off, it flows through the diode 412 and the inductor 413, which combines with the current of the diode 404 and charges the capacitor 111. You. Flyback While the converter stores all of the energy in the core when the switching element 105 is on, the present invention reduces the energy stored in the transformer by the amount of current flowing through the diode 411. The core can be reduced accordingly.
- the gap of the transformer 401 can be narrowed, and the eddy current loss generated in this part can be reduced, and the efficiency can be increased. . In this case, it is necessary to determine the balance of the winding ratio so that the feed current does not become too large.
- the problem of the retention time and the ripple remains in the present embodiment, it may be kept as it is when the countermeasure is performed on the main body using the power supply.
- the AC power supply passes through another rectifier circuit 414 to charge the capacitor 415.
- the switching element 105 When the switching element 105 is turned on, this flows through the winding 417 of the second transformer 416, and energy is also stored in the core of the second transformer 416. This flows to the capacitor 111 through the winding 418 and the diode 419 when the switching element 105 is turned off.
- the second transformer 4 16 switches the DC instead of the pulsating flow, which reduces the ripple. It has an effect. In the end, it is possible with this configuration to increase the retention time and reduce the ripple, while maintaining the required power factor, without reducing the efficiency.
- the flyback energy of the first transformer 401 is released through diodes 42 1 and 44 4.
- the switching circuit in section B is of a capacitor type, an inductor or a capacitor and a capacitor are used in parallel to improve the power factor, which is generally performed.
- Resonance circuit May be inserted before the capacitor 4 15. In this case, there is also an advantage that the inductor can be smaller than that of a circuit having only a condenser input.
- FIG. 5 shows another embodiment.
- the difference between FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 is that when reusing the flyback surge energy of the trans.
- the point to charge the capacitor 415 through the take-out diode 421 and the switching element 501 dedicated to the winding 417 of the second transformer 416 are connected.
- the point provided is different.
- the reverse ripple is generated on the second transformer 416 so as to compensate for the pulsating energy on the first transformer 401, and a combination of the two is obtained. It can be controlled to obtain a clearer DC.
- the diode 414 can be omitted.
- the diode 4 21 and the capacitor 4 15 can be regarded as a snubber circuit having no loss, no waste occurs.
- FIG. 6 illustrates the state of the current in these examples.
- the figure shows the current at i 3 where (a) the force ⁇ ⁇ 1, (b) the force ⁇ i2, and (c) the force ⁇ 1 + i2.
- FIG. 7 shows the voltage waveform ((a)), the current waveform ((b)) of the switching element 105 in the embodiment of FIG. 4, and the feedback converter.
- the current of the diode 404 acting as a forward converter ((c) in the figure), the current of the diode 411 acting as a forward converter ((d) in the figure), and the diode This is a timing chart showing the state of the current flowing through 412 (Fig. (E)).
- FIG. 9 shows a more advanced control method based on the embodiment of FIG. Only the control part is shown. Add the product of the pulsating voltage and the current consumption as the comparison signal for accurate ripple cancellation, and add both the signal with the current detection resistor inserted in series with the smoothing capacitor to the control signal This has also improved the power factor. In other words, what is known in advance, such as ripple, is more accurate and easy to control by prediction than feedback control, although it is more costly than feedback control. .
- Ripple voltage Is divided by the resistors 912 and 913 and enters the multiplier 908.
- the other input detects the current consumption with the current detection resistor 904, detects only the DC component with the resistor 910 and the low-pass filter of the capacitor 911, and amplifies it with the amplifier 909. Then, it enters the multiplier 908 where both are multiplied. This product enters b of the adder 90f, and becomes a ripple cancel signal corresponding to the current consumption.
- the current consumption is detected by the resistor 904, but the detection is not limited to this, and may be performed by another method, for example, a current transformer.
- the c input of the adder 907 is added by detecting the amount and timing of this charge by a resistor 914 connected in series with the smoothing capacitor 10f. Therefore, during this period, the duty cycle is reduced, and the input current waveform is smoothed and the power factor is improved (the waveform on the side in Fig. 13).
- both the active filter and the DC-DC converter handle almost the same amount of power.
- part of the active filter handles a smaller amount of power than before, and the DC-DC converter part only performs the ripple correction. You. Since the combined output is obtained in this way, not only the efficiency is improved but also the size of the device is reduced and the cost is reduced. Compared with the conventional two-converter, this method does not reach the power factor or harmonic current, but can satisfy the regulation values sufficiently.
- the present invention it is possible to increase the efficiency while increasing the holding time and the ripple performance while securing the necessary power factor, and it is also possible to reduce the size and cost of the device.
- the feedback type and the feed type output circuits and connecting them in parallel it is easy to control while improving the efficiency of the transformer. It is easy to combine with the C converter and partial resonance technology, and it is possible to obtain a highly efficient power supply device with low heat generation and high reliability.

これら、 i 1 , i 2 , i 3 の波形は、 図 6 の ( a ) ないし ( c ) に示す。
同 図 ( a ) 力《 ί 1 、 ( b ) 力《 i 2 、 ( c ) 力 ί 1 + i 2 である i 3 の電 流の様子を示 している。
