- the invention relates to a device for producing a cable stranding with alternating lay direction (SZ stranding) from individual wires according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the aim of the invention is to avoid these disadvantages and to propose a device of the type mentioned in the introduction in which only relatively small masses have to be reversed. According to the invention this is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1. These measures ensure that a separate transmission gear can be dispensed with, at least for the part of the traction sheaves connected to one another via the torsionally elastic shaft, because the torsionally elastic shaft acts as such. The twisting angles required for a proper stranding, which become smaller against the fixed guide, result from the twisting thereof becoming smaller towards the fixed end of the torsionally elastic shaft.
