Abstract

Un procédé de fabrication d'une pâte pour batterie comprend les étapes consistant à préparer une matière active dans une boue aqueuse, puis à déshydrater ladite boue afin de former une pâte pour batterie. Dans un second mode de réalisation décrit, on prépare une boue contenant un ou plusieurs sulfates de plomb basiques pouvant servir de matière active dans des électrodes de batterie plomb-acide, dans un réacteur réservoir (36) brassé de manière continue. La boue est extraite dudit réacteur (36), puis elle est amenée à une presse (67) à convoyeurs, laquelle réduit la teneur en humidité de ladite boue jusqu'au niveau désiré. On peut alimenter de manière continue une unité de préparation de pâte (89) en pâte pour batterie produite selon l'invention, afin de produire en série des plaques positives et négatives de batteries, à partir de grilles (91).
