Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para mejorar el control de las propiedades farmacocinéticas y farmacológicas de una sustancia farmaceuticamente activa inyectable; siendo susceptible dicha sustancia farmaceuticamente activa de ser administrada por inyección parenteral a un mamífero, caracterizado porque consiste en: combinar dicha sustancia farmacologicamente activa con al menos una sustancia soportadora farmacologicamente inactiva y dar forma de microesferas sólidas, no porosas, con un diámetro entre 5 y 300 micras; estando presente naturalmente la sustancia soportadora que forma la estructura esférica, en el organismo del mamífero; siendo estable en estado sólido hasta una temperatura de por lo menos 60ºC y en el medio fisiológico receptor del mamífero; siendo más lenta la cinética de disolución de la sustancia soportadora, en el organismo del mamífero recepor, que la cinética de liberación de la sustancia activa en ese mismo organismo; separar dichas microesferas en fracciones calibradas de acuerdo con su diámetro. La figura 1 muestra el esquema de fabricación de microesferas de colesterol.
