DESIGN FOR A HEATING-STOVE.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and. making part of the same.

I, SHUBAEL E. Hnwns, of the city and county of Albany and State of New York, have invented a new and improved Design for Heating-Stoves, of which the following is a specification.

Nature and Objects of the Invention.

Figure 1 is a front view of a stove illustrating my invention.

Figure 2 is a top view of the same with the feed-door partly open.

General Description.

B represents the base of the stove.

E E E E, the several parts of the external casing of the air-chamber.

O 0' represent a cap made in two parts, one movable upon the other, to constitute a register for the discharge of heated air.

P represents the feed-door, and

K the exit-flue for the discharge of smoke.

The ash-pit door 0 and the illuminating firedoor D are both made to slide around and within the shell of the stove.

My design possesses novelty in the contour of the base B, in the conformation, and in the ornamentation of the curved rim E, in the converging of the section E of the casing, in the ornamental configuration of the double cap 0 O, and in the ornamental configuration of the feed-door P and the top piece Q, which may or may not be made hollow to constitute an urn or vase for the reception of water.

I claim- The design for heating-stoves, substantially as above set forth.
