SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,918, dated May 30, 1899.

lie it known that l, E'owiinn N. LA VEINE, of Kansas City, Jackson county, State of Missouri, have invented a new and original Design for Garment-Snpporters, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the aeeon'ipanying drawings, forming a part hereof.
Figure 1 is a plan view of a garment-supporter embodying my new design. Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the garmentsuppm'ter, and Fig. 3 is a rear end elevation thereof.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a Hat body 1, the front end 2 of which is gradually widened to its terminus, and the extreme forward end of said body 1 is bent upward] y and then rearwardl y to form the trans= verse bead or rib 3. The rear end of the body 1 is formed'slightly Wider than the center of said body, and said rear end is turned upwardly at right angles to said body 1, and the center of said upwardly-turned rear end is cut out, so as to form the prongs or projections 4, the upper ends of which are slightly bent forwardly. Extending upwardly from the sides of the body 1, just to the rear of the center thereof, are the ears or projections 5, upon which is arranged the body 6, the same being almost identical in form with the body .1, the extreme Forward edge of said body (i being bent downwardly and then rearwardly to form the transverse rib or head 7, which rests directly upon the rib or bead 3. The body 6 is bent double at its rear end, the doubled-back portion 8 oceupyinga plane just above that occupied by the body 6, and the forward portion of the doubled-back end S terminatesinacirculardisk 9. Formedinthe disk 9 is a triangular aperture 10, and extending downwardly from said disk 9, immediatelyin front of said aperture 10,is a lug 11, the same resting directly upon the top of the body (5.
