DESIGN FOR A CUFF-HOLDER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,548, dated September 26, 1899. Application liled August 14, 1899. Serial No.72'7,223. Term of patent 7 years.

Be it known that I, WILLIAM K. HERRING TON, acitizen of the United States, residing at Aurora, in the county of Kane and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original Design for CuiLHoldei-s, of which the followingr is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this application, and in which- Figure l is a perspective View of a eu`- holder, showing my original design. Fig. 2 is a side edge elevation of said cuff-holder. Fig. 3 is a top plan view showing one side of the cuff-holder. Fig. 4 is a crossseotional View on the line 4 4 of Fig.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a generally' S-shaped ligure with flattened ends, which is distinguished by its peculiar configuration. This figure. comprises, snhi Stantially, a body A, oblong in shape, and i two arms I3 l5, connected with the body by a curved bend C and extending inward toward each other close to the body and on opposite sides thereof, with the extreme ends D curved or turned slightly upward. At the bend forming the juncture of the arms with the body the holder is wider than elsewhere, as shown in Fig. 3, and longitudinal ribs E are stamped or otherwise formed on the arms and on the body beneath the arms, as shown in Fig. 2.
Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
