HENRY \VANKLIN, OF ROXBOROUGH, PENNSYLVANIA.
DESIGN FOR A BISCUIT.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,247, dated April 23, 1895.
Application filed March 2'7, 1895. Serial No. 543.406- Term of patent 3% years.
1' 0 all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HENRY WANKLIN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Roxborough, in the county of Philadelphia and State,
of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for a Biscuit or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification.
The leading feature of my design, consists of a. biscuit or similar article in the shape or form of an oblong figure, with the surface ornamentation of a buttoned gaiter or boot and a portion of the limb exposed beyond the same.
In the accompanying drawings: Figure 1, is a perspective view of a biscuit or similar article embodying the features of shape or form and ornamentation of my design; and Fig. 2, is a sectional view on the line a:a:, of Fig. 1, showing the surface ornamentations thereof.
Referring to the drawings A, is the oblong rounded corner figure of the biscuit or similar article having the surface ornamentation of a buttoned gaiter or boot B, as clearly outlined and with its surface ornamentationsindicated in Fig. 2.
C, is a surface ornamentation outlining a portion of the limb extending beyond the upper end of the boot or gaiter. The surface surrounding the raised or indented surface ornamentation embodying in effect the gaiter or boot of the article being either plain or punctured and scrolled for the application of a word or symbol of designation for the hiscuit or similar article.
\Vhat I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a biscuit or similar article, substantially as illustrated and described.
