DESIGN FOR A CULTlVATOR-BLADE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,341, dated September 13, 1898.
Application filed August 18, 1898. Serial No. 688,937. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whont it may concern:
Be it known that I, TEAN \VHEAT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Vallville, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Cultivator-Blade, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and original design for a cultivator-blade; and it has for its object to provide a design of this character which shall be both useful and ornamental.
The leading feature of the design resides in a substantially fiat body of a right-angled triangular form with a straight oblique front edge, forming the hypotenuse of the figure, said body being provided at its straight rear edge with an ofistanding arm disposed at an obtuse angle to the body and having an opening therein.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective View of a cultivator-blade embodying the herein-described design. Fig. 2 is a crosssectional View on the line 2 2 of Fig. 1.
Referring to the drawings, the numeral 1 designates a substantially flat body in the form of a right-angled triangle whose hypotenuse 2 forms the straight oblique front edge of the body, the straight end edge 3 and the straight rear edge i of the body being disposed at direct right angles to each other.
Projected from the straight rear edge -l of the triangular body is an approximately rectangular arm or shank 5, disposed upwardly at an obtuse angle to the body and having an opening 6 formed therein.
\Vhat is claimed is- The design for a cultivator-blade, herein shown and described.
