DESIGN FOR A SPOON.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,609, dated May 1, 1900.
Application filed September 13, 1899. Serial No. 730,389- Term of patent 35 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, EDWARD A. Morn, a citizen of the United States, residing at Buffalo, in the county of Erie and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Spoons, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, showing a part thereof.
My invention is a design for spoons and is illustrated in the accompanying drawing, which is a front elevation of a spoon embodying the design.
The bowl of the spoon is ornamented at its upper portion by serollwork, as shown at 1, and the lower portion of the handle at its junction with the bowl is also ornamented by the curved diverging lines 2. Upon thehandie above the ornamentation 1 is delineated the figure of an Indian in erect position. The sides I} of the handle are curved outwardly,
and the upper end of the handle is surmounted by a tip 4, ornamented by scrollwork and indented at opposite sides, as shown at 5 and 6.
The leading features of the design are the handle, with the tip of the irregular shape shown, and the figu re of the Indian.
Minor features are the diverging lines 2 and the ornamental seroilwork.

The design for a spoon as herein shown and described.
