To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FRANK H. BURDsALL, a citizen of the United States, residing at Camden,in the county of Camden and State of New Jersey-,have invented and produced a new and original Design for Stub-Pens,whereof the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 is a plan view of a stub-pen, showing my new design; and Fig. 2 is a side VlOW of said pen.
The pen shown in the drawings comprises three partsthe bowl A, the shell B, and the heel O, and it is to be observed that the bowl A is of greater breadth than the heel C and that the shell 13 is of less breadth than said heel O.
The leading or material feature of my design consists in the peculiar configuration of the bowl A,comprising the abruptly-divergent the pierce-hole a concave curved point edges a and concave curved side edges ct, which join in outwardlyfiared corners at 0. substantially in line with As shown, the side edges a of the bowl are abruptly recurved at a at their junction with the side edges 1) of the shell B, and curved recesses c are formed in the side edges 0 of the heel 0, immediately adjoining said shell B, said edges 0' being substantially straight and parallel and connected by the conveXly-eurved rear edge 0 Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
