SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,406, dated March 15, 1892.

le it known that I, EMILE IOUYAT, of Limoges, France, a citizen of France, have invented a certain new Design for 'l`able-\\'are, of which the following is a specification.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure l is a perspective view of a sonp-tnreen and its cover embodying my design for dishes. Fig. 2 is atop view ofthe eover.
The leading features of my design consist of the shape of the dishes and covers and of a flat relief scalloped leafornament,arabesque angle ornaments at the ends of said scalloped leaf ornaments, flat relief snbdividing-lines between the ends of the leaf ornament, outwardly and upwardly extending U-shaped dish-handles terminating in flower ornaments and having the top cross-piece scalloped, and a twisted central cover-handle provided with leafornaments, and a base having notches and leaf ornaments on the edges of said notches. The articles of dishes have an approximately oval shape in plan view divided into four curved sections with slight curved proj eetions at the meeting ends. The sides of the dishes are curved downward and have the offsets n near the base.

What I claim is- The design for dishes, substantially as herein shown and described.
