DESIGN FOR A COVERED DISH.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, WILLIAM GUERIN, a citizen of France, residing at Limoges, in the Department of lIaute-Vienne and Republic of France,have invented and produced a new and original Design for Dishes; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings forming a. part. thereof.

The leading feature of my design consists of a low ovaldish having scroll-like or rococo handles, and irregular or scalloped con figu rations; the cover and dish being marked by several indented scroll-like divisions.

Figure I represents a plan view of the dish cover; Fig. II a side view of the dish, these two views being deemed necessary to fully illustrate my design.

In Fig. I A represents the scroll-like handle rising irregularly from points near the center of the cover, and forming an ornamented arch or volution. The edges of the cover B, and

dish C follow the con figuration of the irregular scallops. These irregular scallops mark indentions I) in the body of the dish and cover. The handles E E on the body of the dish spring from pointsat opposite ends so as to pass over one of these indentations in ornamental curves. The base of the dish F and the periphery of the cover f. are ornamented with irregular scr0ll-like scallops.

Fig. I gives a face view of the cover with the handle ornamented at the point where it joins the cover with scroll work extending toward either end.

What I claim is- A design for a dish substantially as de scribed and shown.
