DESIGN FOR A HANDLE FOR CANES, 840.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,750, dated August 29, 1893. Application filed May 12, 1893- Serial No. 474,026. Term of patent 3% years.
T0 at whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, ANDREW KRoUsE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Bridgeport, in the county of Fairfield and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Handles for Canes, &c.; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertaius to make and use the same.
Figure 1 is a side elevation of a cane-handle showing my design; Fig. 2, a plan view thereof, and Fig. 3, a bottom view, these three views being deemed necessary to fully illustrate my design.
The leading feature of my design consists in raised pointed figures at the top and bottom of the ball, the points of such figures extending toward each other and separated by an ornamental band which extends horizontally around the ball upon which band may be placed suitable scroll or letter work.
1 is the ball, 2 the pointed figure at the top thereof the points being denoted by 3, 4 the pointed figure at the bottom of the ball the points in this instance being denoted by 5, and 6 the ornamental band of letter work.
I claim The design for handles for canes, &o., substantially as shown in the accompanying drawings.
