DESIGN FOR A TIRE-VALVE CAP.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,584, dated May 10, 1898.

T0 to whom it may concern.-
Be it known that 1, JOHN LINES, of WVaterbury, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for a Tire-Valve Cap, (Case A;) and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent, in-
Figure 1, a side view of a cap embodying my design; Fig. 2, a side View at right angles to that shown in Fig. 1.
This invention relates to a design for the valve caps; and the design consists in the form of the cap, as hereinafter described, and shown in the accompanying illustration.
As herein shown, the tire-valve cap of my design is characterized by having the bodyB surrounded by an annular knurled band A, extending around the body below its upper end, by having its upper end C flat, and by havinga round post F projecting upward from the center of the upper end C, which post is cut away on opposite sides of its center at its outer end to form a transverse edge G, all as shown in the accompanying illustration.
I claim The design for a tire-valve cap as herein shown and described.
