DESIGN FOR A CASING FOR STOP-COCKS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,473, dated October 11, 1898. Application filed December 3, 1897. Serial No. 660,710. Term of patent 7 years.
T0 (1% whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, HENRY C. EEDEN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Quincy, in the county of Norfolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produeed a certain new and useful Design for a Casing for a Stop-Cock, of which the following is a specification.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a side elevation of a casing for a stop-cook made in accordance with my design. Fig. 2 is an end elevation, and Fig. 3 a top plan view, of the same.
My design comprises a central body portion 2, the side edges of which are substantially rectangular, as shown in Fig. 1, and which has the general form of a square when viewed as shown in Fig. 2. The square faces of this central body portion are slightly convexed when viewed as in Fig. 3, and from each of them projects a cylindrical portion 3, connected with the body portion 2 by shoulders 4, curving outwardly in all directions, as shown. The outer ends of the portion 3 are somewhat enlarged and formed with flat-sided edges 5.
The bottom edge of the body portion 2 is enlarged laterally and formed into a short cylindrical projection 6, and the top edge of the portion 2 is also formed into a short substantially cylindrical portion 7, which, however, is provided with laterally-projecting Wings 8, as best shown in Fig. 3.
I claim The design for a casin g for a stopcock herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this 1st day of December, A. D. 1897.
HENRY C. WEEDEN.
