DESIGN FOR A WHISTLE-CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design NO. 24,33 5, dated May 28, 1895.
Application filed April 22, 1895. Serial No. 46,639. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, FREDERICK S. CHASE, of Waterbury, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for a. Whistle-Case, (Case B;) and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent, in
Figure 1, a perspective view of a whistlecase, illustrating my design; Fig. 2, a plan view thereof.
My invention relates to an improved design for a whistle case, and the design consists in the configuration herein described and shown in the accompanying illustrations.
As herein shown the design consists of a cylindrical body A, having a mouth-piece comprising a deep, wide, circumferential groove A, and a depressed, slightly concaved, concentrically corrugated flange A containing a diametrical, centrally enlarged orifice A The said groove A is separated from the body by means of a narrow circumferential groove (1, while the opposite end of the body has a corresponding parallel groove a.
The leading features of my design are a whistle having a cylindrical body, and a mouth-piece comprising a wide circumferential groove, and a depressed flange containing an orifice.
I claim- The design for a whistle-case as herein shown and described.
