DESIGN FOR A CANE-HANDLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Desi gn No. 20,854, dated June 23, 1891.
Application filed April 30, 1891. Serial No. 391,149. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, ANDREW Knonsn, a citizen of the United States, resid in g at I; ridgeport, in the county of Fairiield and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Cane-Handles; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
In the accompanying drawings, Figures 1 and 3 are elevations of opposite sides of a cane-handle, showing my design, and Fig. 2 is a front elevation, these three views being deemed necessary to fully illustrate my design.
The leading features of my design consist in the representation of a spread-eagle on the front of the cane-handle and the representations of a sailor and a soldier on opposite sides of the handle, as is fully shown in the drawings.
1 is the cane-handle; 2, the spread-eagle represented on the front 3 of the handle, and 4 5 are respectively the figures of the sailor and soldier represented on opposite sides of the handle.
I claim- The design for a cane-handle, as shown in the accompanying drawings.
