SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,962, dated July 1, 1890. Application filed April 15, 1890. Serial No. 348,121. Term of patent 3% years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, HENRY O. SCHMIDT, a citizen of the United States, residing in New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Cane or Umbrella Handles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing,

20 G than at places between them. The space of the body part below the lower edges of these vertical ribs is highly ornamented, as at F. The lower part of the body part A is drawn slightly inward and terminates in aplain bead or band 0. Both sides of the handle are substantially the same.

The handle is made of any suitable material.

Havingnow described my new design, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for umbrella or cane handles, substantially as herein described and shown.
