SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 20,559, dated March 3, 1891.
Application filed February 6, 1891. Eerial No. 380,518. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, HENRY O. SCHMIDT, a citizen of the United States, residing in New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Cane or Umbrella Handles, of which the following is a specification, referenoe being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
In the drawing is shown a side elevation of a cane or umbrella handle illustrating my new design.
A is the body part, and terminates at the top in a ring B, formed with a small protuberance to one side near the bottom, as at (J. The inner portion of the ring B is ornamented by longitudinal ribs. The body part A is formed with an annular band D of highly-ornamented work, and immediately above and below said band are ornamental :0
The handle may be formed of any suitable 25 material.
Having now described my invention, what- I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
