DESIGN FOR A CANE OR UMBRELLA HANDLE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,966, dated July 1, 1890.

Application filed April 15, 1890. Serial No. 348,094- Term of patent 3% years.

To all whom it may concern.- s

Be it known that I, HENRY A. WEIHMAN, a citizen of the United States, residing in Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Cane or Umbrella. Handles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

In the drawing is shown a perspective view of a cane or umbrella handle illustrating my new design.

A is the body part, and swells both at top and bottom, but more at the top than at the bottom, and has a plain surface, excepting upon portions of its sides, which are ornamented, as indicated at D. In practice there are three of these ornamentations, and the upper portions of said ornamentations continue over the top of the body part A and into the depressed head B, as indicated at 0, uniting at the center.

F is the base part, arranged below the body part and separated from it by an ornamental band E, and said base part is also ornamented by points or otherwise, and is substantially of the shape shown, and, furthermore, this HENRY A. WEIHMAN.
