SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,961, dated July 1, 1890.

Application filed April 15, 1890. Serial No. 348,120. Term of patent 3% years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, HENRY O. SCHMIDT, a citizen of the United States, residing in New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a newand original Design for Cane or Umbrella Handles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

In the drawing is shown a side elevation of a cane or umbrella handle illustrating my new design.

A is the body part, and terminates at the top in a plain cap B. The body part A is formed with the annular edges 0, D, and H, and is ornamented by vertical bars F of plain surface, alternating with vertical bars G of or- HENRY O. SCHMIDT.
