To all whom it may concern.-

Beit known that I, MINNIE B. KENT, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original De- 5 sign for a Pattern of a Misss Costume; and

I do hereby declare that the engraved prints accompanying this specification CODIVEY to any one accustomed to using paper patterns a clear understanding of how a garment madeup: by

The design shows a basque and a. round walking-skirt. The skirt displaysa flatdratablier that falls to the edge in fronbof the full: panel, is short at the right side, and displays draping plarits in itstop; afnll oval back dra- 20 pery that displays draping plaits in its side edges under a deep loose loop and bournous loops, and a. fullness atithe belt. The basque exhibits close-fitting fronts opening from the shouldersdown over a full vest, that displays a V-clnster of smocking at the top and a band 2 5 cluster at thewaistdinie; a close-fitting back that exhibits underfollded plains below the waist-line of the middle three seams, and the lower edge falling in jabot folds; full sleeves,

displaying a. cluster: of smocking at thebaclc of the wrist, and a standing collar.
