Application filed February To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, MARY LUCK, a citizen of the United States, residing at Dallas, in the county of Dallas and State of Texas, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Sleeveless One-Piece Robes, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to wearing apparel and in such connection it has more particular reference to a bath and dressing robe, also an accessory to pajamas, male and female, and ceremonial and lodge robes for either sex.
The primary object of the invention is to provide a sleeveless robe constructed entirely of one piece of cloth as an economizing means in manufacture and providing in the elimination of the sleeves a robe of greater utility, since the sleeves are not necessary as in shaving, dressing and other preparations of the toilet. As a slip-on robe it is very handy and practical.
With the above objects in View, the invention will be more clearly understood by reference to the following description in connection with the accompanying drawings, forming part hereof and in which:
Figure 1 is a View of the robe on the hu man form and illustrating its neat appearance.
Figure 2 is a side elevational view of the robe with the lower portion cut away; and
Figure 3 is a top view of the robe, comprising the pattern, showing its appearance when out and ready to be sewn together, the top portion'only being shown for convenience of illustration.
In carrying out the invention, the material of which the garment is made is first cut to such length and width as required for individual figure and form and the top porti on marked and cut as illustrated in Figure 12,1925. Serial no. 8,809.
A pocket 13 and tie cord 14 or other fastening means may be added.
That is claimed is: r
1. A sleeveless one-piece robe as described composed of a single sheet of material, having parallel opposite side edges, said piece being provided at its opposite top corners with arch-shaped projecting portions form ing lapels when folded over, said sheet having a central upwardly projecting portion in its top edge adapted to be joined to the ends of said lapels,'recesses between the central projecting portions and said lapels for arm holes and smaller recesses in the arm hole.

A sleeveless one-piece robe as described, comprising a single piece of material with parallel opposite side edges the opposite top corners of the piece being curved outwardly pleats when the robe is and inwardly, said piece of material having a central upwardly projecting portion in its top edge, a series of recesses on each side of said upwardly projecting portion and between said portion and the curved top cor-- ners; said corners adapted to be secured to the projecting portion to form lapels and sleeve holes with pleats in said sleeve holes.
