SPECIFICATION forming par: of Design No. 15,505, dated October 28, 1884.
Application filed August 7.1884.
To all whmn it may concern Be it known that I, hIARY TURNER, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original De- 5 sign for a Pattern of aLadys Costume, (11mm bered 9,858,) and I do hereby declare that the engraved prints accompanying this specification convey to any oneaccustomed to using pa per patterns a clear understanding of how a 10 garment made up by the pattern will appear.
The design shows a round walkingskirt and an overdress. The skirt exhibits a deep plain front panel falling to the bottom of the skirt and outliningpoii'il's at the lower edge,
1 front draperies that display draping plaits in their back edges, flare widely in deep points at the bottom, and appear tolap quite broadly at their front edges at the top. The overdress exhibits eloselyfitted basque-fronts that shape Term of patent 3; years,
a point at each side of the closing and a curve 10 over the hips, a deep closely-fitted basquebaek,np0n which appears to he draped a deep full back drapery that displays draping plails in its center at the top, and also lower down at the center and. in the front edges, and a deep 25 opening in the lower part of the center, a standing collar, and coat-sleeves showing their Wrists having reversed cuffs flaring at their back edges.
