DESIGN FOR A HEATING-STOVE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 16,483. dated January 19. 1886.

Application filed December 17, 11 85. Serial No. 196,015. Term of patent '1 years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, THOMAS WHITE, of

' Quincy, in the county of Adams and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a HeatingStove, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.

This design embraces new and distinct parts and combinations of parts which make up the whole design, as hereinafter described, and pointed out in the claims.

Reference is to be had to the accompanying photograph, which forms a part of this specification, and which represents a view in perspective of a heating-stove embodying my new and original design.

A distinguishing feature of this design is the shape and ornamentation of the portions marked A, B, O, D. and E.

The design for the top A consists of the plain outer rim, 1), convexly-curved inner border, (1, having the series of ornaments a, the plain rim 0, convexly-cuived portion d. having the ornamentations d, and the cylind rir-al vase 6, having the ornamentations e.

The design for the portion B comprises the couvexly-curved panel'like part f, ornamented by diagonal bands 9, having scroll ornamentations 9, the rosette ornament h, floral ornament i, and sunflower ornament k. The door Zof said portion Bis likewise of convexlycurved configuration on its surface, decorated by square-shaped depressions m, having the trellis ornament n, and ornaments o 0" within them.

The design for the portion D consists of the downwardly-flaring concavely-curved part y, having the ornaments z.

The design for the base portion E consists of the rim p01 tion a, the outer lower rim, b having the ornaments a, and the legs d, having theornamcnts e as shown.
