SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 15,747, dated January 27, 1885.

Be it known that I, HENRY BREHMER, (assignor to DAVID \VOLFE BRUGJGJ of Staple ton, county of Richmond, and State of New 5 York, have invented a Design for a Font of Printing-Type, of which the following is a specification.

The nature of my design is clearly shown in the accompanying typographic impression, to

10 which reference is made; and it consists of an nnshaded letter of the class known as Tuscan. The curved termination followed by the dot is found in the A, B, G, 1), E, F, G, K, L, P, R. S, T, and Q, as shown. The faces 15 of the C D G O Q S are ornamented by a. light curved line with (lot termination, as shown. A similar ornamentation is found in the F, J, K, L, P, and R, as shown, formed, as it were,

as a continuation of the termination proper. 1

Term of patent 14 years.

I The cross-line of the A is formed of the two inclined lines intersected by a light line projceting downward. The cross-line of the H is the reverse of the cross-line of the A.

lhe character of the design is preserved in the lower-case. the puactuation-marks, the numerals, and the dollar and poundstcrling marks, save that the faces of the punctuation marks, the numerals, and the dollar and poundsterling marks are not ornamented, as are the faces of the upper and lower case lettel-s.

I claim as new- The design for a font of printingtypc, as shown and described.
