To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, HERMAN IHLENBURG, (assgnor to DAV-In WoLFE BRUcE,) of the city and county of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a. Font; of Printing-Type, of which the following is a specification.

The nature of my design is shown in the accompanying typographie impression, to which reference is made; and itconsists ofa heavy letter somewhat resembling the class known as text, shaded onthe right and below by a lighter line. The face of the letters is ornamented by the light dots, as shown, and in the C, G, and S the terminations are rhomboida-l- 'I5 like. The upand-down portions of the letters are concaved at; top and bottom, as shown.

The character ofthe design is preserved in the punctuation-marks and the numerals and in the dollar and pound-sterling symbols.

Having now described my invention, what I claim as new is- The design for a font of printing-type, as shown and described. Y
