Beit known that I, JAMES M. CoNNER, of

the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Font of vPrinting-'lype, of which the following is a specification.

The nature of my design is clearly shown in the accompanying typographie impression, to which reference is made; and it consists of a sloping-script letter. In the C, E, G, and S the letters are ornamented upon the right by a curved line extending from the upper portion of theletter below its lower portion and curved to the right at its lower termination. In the letters -A and M the left-hand up-and-down portion extends below the line and curves at its lower portici) to the left. The letters D and L are ornamented by the flourishes below the letters curving to the right. In the letters M and W the central portions of the letters are looped, as shown. In the symbol & the central portion extends below the line and curves to the right, and the dollar-mark is ornamented by the line extending from its upper portion below the line. f
