To all whmn it may concern.-

Be it known that I, HENRY BREHMER, (assignor to DAVID WOLFE BRUoE,) of Stapleton, county of Richmond, and State of New York, have invented a new Design for a Font of Printing-Type, of which the following is a specification.

The nature of my design is clearly shown in the accompanying typographic impression, to which reference is made; and it consists of a letter the face of which is ornamented to gi ve it the appearance of chased workmanship. The right-hand up and down portions of the A, K, and R are extended below the line, and ornamented at; base by a curved line extending to the left and terminating in the dot. The left-hand up and downportipns of the H, M, and N are extended below the line, and ornamented at base by a curved line extending to the right and terminating in the dot. l he 20 up and down portions of the symbol and are extended below the line, and ornamented by a light curved line, with dot termination extending to the left.

The character of the design is preserved in 2 the punctuation-1narks. numerals, and dollar and p0un(lsterling marks, so far as the ornamentation of the face is concerned.

I claim as new The design for a font of printingtype, as shown and described.
