DESIGN FOR A COOKING-STOVE.
SPECIFICATION forming part. of Design No. 15,740, dated January 20,1885.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, JOSEPH L. GOBEILLE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Cleveland, in the county of Cnyahoga and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Cooking-Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, iorming part thereof.
The figure is a perspective of the stove.
The door A of the stove-oven, of shape as 5 appears in the drawing, and hinged with the decorated hinge B, is centrally embellished by l the prominent star 0, pictorially projecting from the back round 0, and having the leat like figures reaching between its several 3 points. On each side of the said star, and obliquely across the face of the door: lie, re-
spectively, the lowered strips D and D. The
four corners or cornering portions of the said door have figures of arboreal branches, respectively lettered (Z, d, al and d. E of the lire-box is alsoobliquely crossed by the flowered strip 0, lying apross an arboreal branch. one of whose sectionsviz., e'lies above said strip, and the other of whose sectionsviz., c'-lies below the said strip. Door F of the heatingcloset has a central figure ot' a circle or disk, f. lying over a bifurcated stem, one of whose sections-viz., flies obliquely below the center of said disk, while the other two branching portionsviz.,f and f1ie obliquely above the center of said disk; also, said door is further ornamented by the flowersprigsf and f The exterior side surface of the reservoir G is decorated by the two vertical columns 9 located near its edges, said columns respectively embellished by the figures g and flanked, respectively, on one side by the vertical scroll g Said door has also the window-like frame g, having the flowered device 9 extending verticallythrough its center. 5. The design for the exterior faces of the ends of the aslrpit X, consisting of the star it, having an interlaced net-work, a, formed bctween its several points, and stretching from point to point, substantially as set forth.
