  • the portable terminal 10 can display a message in the form of a pop-up window that notifies the viewer that the sponsor league valid period is terminated.
  • the sponsor league prizewinner list can be received from the sponsor-league-providing-server 30 , and can be displayed to the screen. At this time, the advertisement 515 registered by the sponsor can be displayed together in the prizewinner list.
  • the portable terminal 10 can determine whether a signal for checking the user total ranking of a particular sponsor league is sensed. On the other hand, if an input signal for checking the sponsor league ranking is not sensed, the portable terminal 30 terminates operation on sponsor league execution.

  • a sponsor can advertise in a sponsor league at a low cost even though the sponsor does not advertise in an offline game championship that costs much.
  • the above-described methods according to the present invention can be realized in hardware or as software or computer code that can be stored in a recording medium such as a CD ROM, a RAM, a floppy disk, a hard disk, or a magneto-optical disk or downloaded over a network, so that the methods described herein can be executed by such software using a general purpose computer, or a special processor or in programmable or dedicated hardware, such as an ASIC or FPGA.
