Description
本發明係關於製造繩線樣式高爾夫球桿握把之製程,該高爾夫球桿握把類型為暴露嵌入該球桿握把中之繩線材料以增加可握持性之類型。暴露之繩線存在於一可撓性橡膠高爾夫球桿握把中已廣泛普及且其市場不斷擴大。然而,用於製造此一球桿握把之製程被證明稍顯複雜且極為費工,因此導致該等球桿握把成本增加。
參考圖1,圖1繪示當前用於製造繩線樣式橡膠高爾夫球桿握把之製程實例,其中採用一上橡膠片10及一下橡膠片12,該等橡膠片10及12係於先前藉由使未固化橡膠壓延至一所要的預定厚度而製備,壓延至一所要的預定厚度需要該未固化橡膠多次通過該壓延機,以達成所要的尺寸厚度。該等片10及12係設置於所要織物或繩線式層14之相對側上且穿過大體上由16、18、20指示之空轉夾頭。接著將三個層饋送通過一對壓延輥22及24,該等壓延輥22及24將該等片壓縮在一起且迫使該等片成為一常見單一薄板坯料(大體上指示於26),以接受進一步處理。
當前採用之另一替代性技術是將該等片10及12佈置於長台上且用溶劑黏合劑塗敷該等片之表面且手動地將該等片放置於該織物或繩線層上,使得該等繩線係夾持於該等片之間。接著可使其間夾持有該織物層之該等片通過一壓延機,以使該薄板坯料達成所要的厚度。此後一技術在製備
該薄板坯料時更耗時且成本更高。
參考圖2,繼續當前已知之製程,其中薄板坯料26穿過一壓印機(其大體上由28指示),其自該薄板坯料26沖切出所要型樣片30,接著取出該等型樣片且該等型樣片具有圖3中所圖解之大體形式。可以看出,在沖切該等型樣片30之後,該薄板坯料上存在相當大量之廢棄材料。此外,因為該織物一般經特定編織用於高爾夫球桿握把製造且因此對於織物廠而言為相對小量之品目,因此該織物層14相當昂貴。已嘗試藉由購買大量生產之標準織物來抵消該織物之成本;然而,此做法勢必限制可選擇之繩線類型及可在用於該繩線式球桿握把之織物中所採用之繩線型樣之變化量。此導致為了加強適銷性而限制該球桿握把樣式之變化。
參考圖4及圖5,繼續現有之已知製程,將該等型樣片30個別地包繞於芯桿33上且將該等型樣片及芯桿個別地放置於形成於一預模製模具區段34中之圓柱形預模製模具空穴32中且用剩餘之圓柱形預模製模具空穴38形成於其中之一上預模製模具區段36閉合該預模製模具。在當前已知之製程中,經沖切型樣片30各包括模製橡膠球桿握把之一半的周邊且此需要該等型樣片30之一者裝載於該模具之上半體34及下半體36二者中之各個模製空穴中,如圖4所展示。接著加熱該預模製模具,以僅對該球桿握把進行部分固化且接著打開該預模製模具且使該等預成形球桿握把部分地固化且將芯桿自該模具取出。圖5中繪示該等預成形球桿
握把之一者,且該等型樣片30係包繞於桿33上。
接著將圖5之預成形球桿握把及芯桿連同一端蓋手動地放置於一加熱壓縮模具空穴中,該加熱壓縮模具空穴將該預成形件模製成一成品高爾夫球桿握把形狀。
因此,自上文描述可看出,用於製造繩線式可撓橡膠高爾夫球桿握把之目前製程不僅由於需要多個手動步驟而耗時,而且產生許多廢料,此導致製造球桿握把的成本相比於非繩線式高爾夫球桿握把大幅度增加。
因此,許久以來,吾人希望提供一種製造繩線式可撓橡膠高爾夫球桿握把之方式,其允許該球桿握把之外觀樣式具有多種變化且複雜性較低且製造成本大幅度降低。
本發明描述一種製作繩線式可撓橡膠高爾夫球桿握把之方法,該球桿握把類型為嵌入繩線之若干部分係暴露於該球桿握把之外表面上之類型。明確而言,該方法無需在一繩線層之相對側上產製薄板坯料層且對該薄板坯料沖切出型樣,以包繞於一芯桿上且將其手動地放置於預模製模具空穴中,以預固化該橡膠,進而形成一球桿握把預成形件,該預成形件隨後必須再次模製,以形成一成品球桿握把。
在當前揭示之方法中,擠出呈無縫管狀形式之一橡膠內層或握柄且用機器使織物繩線纏繞於該握柄上,以形成一繩線型樣;且該等繩線可為單繩線或編結或加撚繩線。可藉由市售編結機(諸如用於製造繩線預加強軟管所採用之
編結機)完成繩線包繞。在本發明的方法之一型式中,接著將包繞有繩線之握柄組裝於由未固化彈性體製成之另一經擠出無縫管狀外層內側;及將一芯桿插入其中且將一未固化彈性體端蓋組裝於該繩線式組合體之端上。接著將該組合體放置於一壓縮模具(圖中未繪示)中且使該組合體固化以形成一成品球桿握把。接著將固化成品球桿握把自該未繪示之壓縮模具取出且使該固化成品球桿握把之外表面拋光,以暴露該繩線之若干部分,以為該高爾夫球桿提供所要之繩線式可撓球桿握把表面。
在本發明之方法之另一型式中,可用一包覆模製薄層來塗敷該包繞有繩線之握柄,藉由將一芯桿插入且將該組合體放置於一壓型機中且注射彈性體以形成該包覆模製層而在外面上注射該包覆模製薄層。
本發明之方法不僅允許該等繩線之一些者或所有該等繩線著色,亦允許將不同類型、由不同材料製成且具有不同大小之繩線包繞於該握柄上且將採用由多種不同類型之經繩線纏繞型樣,以提供加強適銷性之多種設計效果。
參考圖6,在本發明揭示之方法中,一握柄(大體上指示為40)係形成為無縫管狀組態,其係自一壓模42擠出,在一市售橡膠擠出機44中採用該壓模42來形成該握柄40且使得該握柄40具有所要之直徑及壁厚度。該握柄40之移動係由圖6及圖7中之參考字元「A」指稱之黑色箭頭指示。
參考圖7,接著可透過一市售迴旋纏繞機(大體上由46指
示)之一中央孔口44饋送該管狀未固化握柄40(當該握柄退出該壓模42時)。該纏繞機46一般具有複數個在圓周上徑向向外間隔之織物繩線線軸48,其藉由該機器圍繞該握柄迴旋。當該握柄40在由圖7中之箭頭A指示之方向上被軸向地饋送通過該機器時,來自該等線軸48之繩線藉由該機器46在如圖7中「B」所示之黑色箭頭指示之方向上之旋轉而螺旋地纏繞於該握柄40上。
因此,本發明之方法允許將該等繩線線軸配置而使得繩線具有多種所要之類型及厚度且針對該織物繩線具有不同的材料(諸如,合成或天然材料)選擇,以在該成品高爾夫球桿握把中提供多種繩線。此提供用於加強適銷性之先前技術無法獲得之產品差異及多樣性。
參考圖8,該包繞之繩線型樣握柄40大體上指示為50,其經切割具有適用於該球桿握把之一所要長度。接著將該繩線型樣之握柄50組裝於呈管狀形式之一未固化彈性體外層52中,亦可藉由以與針對圖6之該握柄使用之方式類似之方式擠出該握柄50。圖9中圖解該管狀外層52與該繩線式握柄總成50之總成且用參考數字54指示。該總成54已經組裝於一心軸或芯桿56上且由未固化彈性體製成之一端蓋58係組裝於該球桿握把54之直徑較大之開口端上。在實踐本發明時,用於該蓋58之彈性體可為在固化時比用於該球桿握把之該外層52之彈性體具有一遠遠較高之硬度之類型之彈性體。接著將該組裝式球桿握把54放置於一壓縮模具空穴(圖中未繪示)中且固化以形成該球桿握把之最終組
態。在將該固化之球桿握把自未繪示之壓縮模具取出之後,例如,藉由對該球桿握把進行拋光,自該外層移除所要之材料量,且在一個型式中給出具有圖10中所示且由參考符號60指示之外觀之球桿握把。
參考圖11,圖解該纏繞機之一替代性配置,其大體上指示為62且具有設置於各個線軸站之複數個線軸64,該等線軸圍繞平行於該握柄40之軸線之一軸線而迴旋且自該握柄40在經安裝以圍繞其中心旋轉之一圓形板66上徑向地移位,以使纏繞於該地握柄40上之各個繩線形成一加撚配置。亦可使用其他型式之纏繞機作為(例如)複數個線軸配置,藉此使該等線軸移動,以促使該等繩線之各者具有一編結配置。此等機器可市購且在軟管製作技術中廣為人知。
參考圖12,圖12圖解本發明之方法之另一型式,其中大體上指示為50'之該經繩線包繞之握柄具有一芯桿56',其係插入該握柄中且該芯桿與該握柄50'之組合體被插入一注射成形模具中。大體上由61指示之該模具可包含一上區段62,其具有形成於其中之一空穴64,且澆口66及68分別經由橫向通道70及72而與該空穴64連通。該模具包含一下區段74,其具有形成於其中之一空穴76,該空穴76對應於空穴64;且該空穴76與橫向通道78及80連通,該等橫向通道78及80亦與該等澆口或立管66及68連通。在圖12所述之方法型式中,在將該繩線式握柄50'組裝於該等空穴64、76中之後,透過該等澆口或立管66及68注射未固化彈性體,且
該未固化彈性體流入該等空穴64、76中,以用一相對纖薄之彈性體外層封閉該繩線式握柄50'。接著用熱在該等模具區段62、74中固化完整的球桿握把。接著將該固化球桿握把自該等空穴取出且對該外表面進行拋光,以使該外表面上之一些繩線暴露,以提供如圖10中所示之成品球桿握把。
因此,本發明描述一種製作繩線式可撓橡膠高爾夫球桿握把之方法,該球桿握把具有暴露於該球桿握把之表面上之嵌入之繩線之若干部分。在所揭示之方法中,一握柄形成為未固化彈性體之一經擠出無縫管狀形式且織物繩線係纏繞於該握柄之該表面上,可藉由一市售纏繞機完成該纏繞。在一型式中,接著用未固化彈性體形成之一經擠出管狀外層覆蓋該繩線式握柄。接著該組合體經切割具有所要之長度、組裝於一芯桿上且未固化彈性體之一端蓋係組裝於該組合體上且在一壓縮模具中固化,以形成所要的最終球桿握把組態。在自該模具取出之後,接著諸如藉由拋光以自該固化球桿握把外表面移除材料,以暴露所要之繩線量,以加強繩線之握持感。在該方法之另一型式中,具一芯桿之該繩線式握柄組合體被放置於一模具中且該繩線式握柄上經注射模製一彈性體外層。因此,本發明之方法可使得待纏繞於該握柄上之繩線型樣具有多種變化且允許繩線之厚度及配置(諸如,編結)具有多種變化且使得如需使用彩色繩線以在暴露時為繩線型樣提供獨特的表面效果。本發明之方法無需為了在組裝式球桿握把之最終固化之前將該等型樣包繞於一芯桿上及進行預模製進而產製薄板坯
料及進行沖切型樣。

Claims (12)
- 一種製作一可撓高爾夫球桿握把之方法,其包括:(a)形成可固化彈性體之一無縫管狀握柄;(b)將一繩線型樣纏繞於該管狀握柄之外表面上;(c)將由彈性體材料製成之一封蓋設置於該管狀握柄之一端中且形成一球桿握把預成形件;(d)將彈性體材料設置於該預成形件上且將該球桿握把模製成一所要的形狀且固化該彈性體材料;及(e)將該固化彈性體材料之若干部分自該球桿握把之該外表面移除且暴露該繩線型樣之若干部分。
- 如請求項1之方法,其中纏繞包含(i)編結及(ii)編織之一者。
- 如請求項1之方法,其中將該固化彈性體之若干部分自該外表面移除包含拋光。
- 如請求項1之方法,其進一步包括在纏繞之前使該握柄至少部分地固化。
- 如請求項1之方法,其中設置一封蓋包含設置(i)經部分固化彈性體及(ii)固化彈性體之一者形成之一封蓋。
- 如請求項1之方法,其中該將彈性體材料設置於該預成形件上包含擠出一未固化彈性體管且將該管組裝於該繩線型樣之上方。
- 如請求項1之方法,其中該將彈性體材料設置於該預成形件上包含塗敷其固化硬度小於固化握柄之硬度之一未固化彈性體層。
- 如請求項1之方法,其中設置一封蓋包含設置其固化硬度遠遠大於該固化握柄之硬度之一彈性體材料封蓋。
- 如請求項1之方法,其中纏繞包含纏繞(i)天然織物繩線及(ii)合成織物繩線之一者之一型樣。
- 如請求項1之方法,其中纏繞包含纏繞具有不同(i)直徑、(ii)顏色、(iii)編織樣式及(iv)編織密度之繩線之一者之一型樣。
- 如請求項1之方法,其中在該預成形件上設置彈性體材料包含注射模製。
- 如請求項1之方法,其中形成一無縫管狀握柄包含擠出未固化彈性體。
