V479016 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印制衣 A7 B7 五、發明說明(1 ) 【發明所屬之技術領域】 本發明係,關於製作聚合物電池時所採用的加熱封口 裝置、加熱封口方法、壓紋成形方法、工件按壓裝置以及 工件。 【習知技術】 ( 聚合物電池’也被稱爲鋰2次電池,係利用鋰離子的 移動產生電流的電池。這樣的聚合物電池係由:具有高分 子聚合物電解質及正極-負極活性物質的聚合物電池本體 、及收納該聚合物電池本體的包裝體所形成。 聚合物電池的用途係,多用於個人電腦、攜帶型末端 裝置(行動電話、PDA等)、數位相機、電動車、儲藏 能源用蓄電池、機械人、及衛星等。 聚合物電池的包裝體係,對金屬施以衝壓加工形成圓 筒狀或長方體狀容器的金屬罐,或者是使用由基層材、鋁 、及密封材層所形成的袋狀基層體。 但是,聚合物電池的包裝體卻有以下的問題。在金屬 罐中,因容器外壁具有剛性,而限制了電池本身的形狀。 因此,因堅硬端部分配合聚合物電池作設計之故,使用聚 合物電池之堅硬端部分的尺寸係被電池所限制導致形狀的 自由度變少。 因此,發展出使疊層體形成袋狀後收納聚合物電池的 單口袋型包裝體,或者對前述基層體衝壓成形後形成凹部 ,開發出將聚合物電池本體收納於凹部的壓紋型包裝體。 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) · 4 - r—--------訂---------線 (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 479016 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 A7 B7 五、發明說明(2 ) 壓紋型包覆體係,相較於單口袋型包裝體,變得更小型化 。無論是哪一種形式的包裝體,對於所謂聚合物電池的防 潮性或者是耐穿透性等的強度、絕緣性等,是聚合物電池 之包裝體不可或缺要件。 其次,雖然將聚合物電池本體收納於包裝體內,並對 其外緣施以加熱封口後形成密封包裝,.但於聚合物電池本 體處係,把將電池內部產生之電流導向外側的電極(凸出 部)組裝成板狀。當對包裝體實施密封包裝時,形成在包 裝體包夾電極(凸出部)的狀態下實施加熱封口。但是, 因凸出部具有5 0〜2 0 0 的厚度,包夾著凸出部隻 包裝體的密封部係,在凸出部兩端的斷面部分處,形成包 裝體之熱封層樹脂係因凸出部的厚度形成無法塡補的段差 ,造成空隙的產生。 【發明的揭示】 本發明係,考慮上述情形所發展,且其目的是提供一 種:能製作高精度之聚合物電池的加熱封口裝置、加熱封 口方$、壓紋成形方法、工件按壓裝置以及工件。 V/本發明係一種加熱封口裝置,其特徵爲··於ft收糸^里 具有凸出合避零渉本體的包裝體外緣進行加熱封口 ’ "*、 ' 一 *** 一、〜 丨丨_ , (|| —Γ | 藤加…熱聲卬I置1二.1 ..&且奏黍露Ji 二鼠|蓋里」 JL一至〜春甚漢复封頭的密封面_虫,形成有相當於固定 ΜΜΜΜΛΜ^吝立虽親昀晨部凹部。 本發明之加熱封口方法係,具有下列特徵··於一側未 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) -5- ----------,—--------訂---------線 m (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 479016 A7 B7 五、發明說明(3 ) (請先閱讀背面之注音?事項再填寫本頁) 密封之單口袋型包裝體處由前述未密封部分收納具有凸出 部的聚合物電池本體,並將凸出部設定於未密封部分的步 驟;及使用在具有密封面的一對密封頭處的至少其中一方 之密封面內形成有相當於凸出部範圍之凹部的一對密封頭 ,對外裝部之未密封部分施以加熱封口的步驟。 本發明之加熱封口方法係,具有下列特徵:將具有凸 出部的聚合物電池本體收納入壓紋型包裝體內的步驟;及 使用在具有密封面的一對密封頭處的少其中一方之密封面 內形成有相當於凸出部範圍之凹部的一對密封頭,對外裝 部之未密封部分施以加熱封口的步驟。 本發明係,使用具備: 包含:被設置成對應複數之製品外形的公模用拍打器 、及被設置於公模用拍打器內側的成形凸部、及被設置於 成形凸部與公模用拍打器間具有公模按壓部的公模; -6 - 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) 479016 A7 B7 五、發明說明(4) (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 及包含:對應公模用拍打器的母模用拍打器、及對應 成形凸部的成形凹部、及對應公模按壓部的母模用拍打器 之母模的壓紋成形裝置所形成,其特徵爲:在工件之對應 公模按壓部與母模按壓部間的局部處形成切口。 本發明之工件按壓裝置,係按壓工件中利用壓紋成形 而成的壓紋部以外之部分的按壓裝置,其特徵爲:具備: 具有收納工件之壓紋部的收納部,且被配置於工件其中一 側的第1模具;及被配置於工件另一側,且在其與第1模 具間按壓工件的第2模具,且至少對第1模具或第2模具 中的任何一方進行加熱。 【用以發明之最佳實施形態】 第1實施形態 本發明係關於,可於將聚合物電池本體放入包裝體內 ,利用加熱封口的方式對包夾凸出部的包裝體施以密封時 ,避免因凸出物之厚度導致空隙產生的加熱封□裝置。也 就是關於,對凸出部的端部提供密封安定化時必要之壓力 及溫度的密封頭狀物,以下根據相關圖面作詳細的說明。 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 圖1 ( a )係,說明聚合物電池包裝用密封頭之形狀 的斜視圖,圖1 ( b )係加熱密封狀態的示意圖。 圖2 ( a )係,使用聚合物電池包裝用密封頭所得之 聚合物電池的斜視圖,圖2 ( b )係圖2 ( a )之X i — X 1部分的剖面圖,圖2 ( c )係圖2 ( b )之Y 1部分的 放大圖。圖3係說明聚合物電池之單口袋型包裝體的斜視 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) 479016 A7 B7_ 五、發明說明(5 ) (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 圖。圖4係說明聚合物電池之壓紋型包裝體的斜視圖。圖 5 ( a )係,說明壓紋型包裝體之成形方法的斜視圖,圖 5 (b)係形成壓紋成形之包裝體本體的示意圖,圖5 ( c)係圖5 (b)之X3 — X3部分的剖面圖,圖5 (d) 係圖5 ( c )之Y 3部分的放大圖。圖6係說明使用本.發明 之聚合物電池用包裝體中疊層體的構成例剖面圖。圖7係 說明製作聚合物電池用包裝體的疊層體之複合疊層的步驟 槪念圖。圖8係說明製作聚合物電池用包裝體的疊層體之 共押出疊層的步驟槪念圖。圖9係說明用來接著聚合物電 池用包裝體與凸出部之接著性薄膜的安裝方法斜視圖。 聚合物電池係按下列方式所製作。首先,採用如尼龍 /接著層/鋁/接著層/聚乙烯之結構的疊層體,製作成 一側形成開口狀的單口袋型聚合物電池用包裝體。接著, 使聚合物電池本體之凸出部對準開口部地,由該開口部處 插入聚合物電池本體,藉由對開口部加熱封口的密封方式 製作聚合物電池。傳統上,使用這種加熱封口方式之密封 頭的密封面係爲平面。當採用平面的密封頭實施加熱封口 時,如圖1 0 ( a )及圖1 〇 ( b )所示地,在突出於聚 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印制衣 合物電池1之包裝體5的凸出部4兩端部,靠近包裝體5 之熱封樹脂2 4處因凸出部4的厚度形成無法塡補的段差 ,導致空隙(汽孔)9 d的產生。爲了防止該空隙9 d的 發生,有必要嚴密地管理加熱封口的溫度、及密封壓力的 條件,因此合適的作業範圍變小,使安定生產變的困難。 於圖10 (a) 、(b)中,包裝體5係,具有熱封 -8 - 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 479016 A7 ____J37____ 五、發明說明(6 ) 樹脂24、.基材層21、隔層22及接著樹脂層23。 本發明團隊係,著重於可使包夾凸出部4側邊之加熱 封口安定的方式做硏究。 其結果係,開發出如圖1 ( a )所示地加熱封口裝置 1 0。加熱封口裝置1 〇係具備:各自具有密封面1 2的 一對密封頭1 0 a、1 〇 b,並於該密封頭1 〇 a、 1 Ob的密封面1 2處形成有凹部1 1。該凹部1 1係, 被設置成在包裝體5之外緣處對應凸出部4的位置。 在圖1 ( a ) 、( b )中,雖然將凹部1 1設置於兩 個密封頭1 0 a、1 〇 b的密封面1 2處,也可以將凹部 1 1設置於其中的一個密封頭,例如密封頭1 〇 a處。 重複實驗的結果係,當一對密封頭1 〇 a、1 0 b均 設置凹部1 1時,凹部1 1的深度m,係形成凸出部4之 厚度的1/3〜凸出部4厚度的範圍,而凹部1 1的寬度 η係形成凸出部4之寬度+0·2〜凸出部4的寬度 + 2 · 0mm的範圍,其中又以凸出部4之寬度+0 · 3 〜凸出部4的寬度+ 1 · 〇 m m的範圍較佳。 因此,一般的聚合物電池1中凸出部4的厚度約爲 50〜200/zm,寬度約爲5〜20mm。 在採用具有本發明之聚合物電池包裝用密封頭1 〇 a 、1 0 b的加熱封口裝置1 〇製作聚合物電池1之際,當 採用如圖2及圖3所示地單口袋型包裝體5時,該包裝體 5則如圖4所示地,係爲對聚合物電池的包裝材料施以衝 壓成形製作出具有收納聚合物電池3之壓紋部7的單口袋 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) -9 - ,—--------訂----------線 (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 479016 A7 ----B7 五、發明說明(7 ) 型包裝體5。單口袋型包裝體5係,如圖3所示地,具有 一側呈未密封狀態的開口部5 a,將聚合物電池本體2由 該開口部5 a處放入包裝體5內,同時對前述開口部5 a 及凸出部4施以加熱封口。圖3中的包裝體5係,雖然是 根據枕型所製作,也可以利用3側密封、4側密封等的製 袋方式來製作。 _ 而,包裝體5爲壓紋型時,如圖4 ( b )所示地,將 聚合物電池本體2放入形成壓紋部7之包裝體本體5 P的 壓紋部7內,對包覆著覆蓋材5 t的包裝體本體5 p及覆 蓋材5 t的邊緣施以加熱封口。在此包裝體5係,由包裝 體本體5 p及覆蓋材5 t所形成。接著,在壓紋型的包裝 體5處係’包含對包裝體5的單邊等施以壓紋成形者(圖 4 ( a ))、和對壓紋形成相當於包裝體5的覆蓋材5 t 施以4邊加熱封口者(圖4 (b))、及對在包裝體5兩 側處形成的壓紋部7施以3邊加熱封口者(圖4 ( c )) 。包裝體5的本體5 p及覆蓋材5 t係,由後述之任何一 種疊層體所形成的包裝材料所構成。 所謂包裝體5的加熱封口法係,加熱融熔最內層,使 最內層間密封者,例如,裝入加熱流體(水、油等)及加 熱器的熱板法;和利用通電的脈衝法;和使用高周波電壓 ’利用薄膜本身發熱的高周波密封法;和藉由超音波振動 的超首波密封法;及以火焰及熱風對密封部內面加熱後密 封的方法等。而’加熱封口後,即使是執行冷卻,也可以 使用與加熱封口裝置1 0之凹部1 1相同之具有凹部的冷 --------訂---------線· 七浐、 (請先閱讀背面之注咅?事項再填寫本頁) 本紙張尺度刺中國國家標準(CNS)A4祕⑵Q χ 297公爱) -10- 479016 Λ7 ________ B7 五、發明說明(8) 卻裝置。 (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 可是上述的說明中,如圖2〜圖4所示地,雖然聚合 物電池1備有聚合物電池本體2、及包裝聚合物電池本體 2的包裝體5,其中的聚合物電池本體2係由具有凸出部 (電極)4的電池元件(蓄電部)3所形成。 而’聚合物電池本體2的電池元件3係具有:正極集 電材(鋁、鎳):和正極活性物質層(金屬酸化物、碳黑 、金屬硫化物、電解液、聚丙烯腈等的高分子正極材料) :和電解質層(碳酸丙烯酯、碳酸乙烯酯、碳酸二甲基、 乙烯•甲基•碳酸酯的碳酸酯電解液;由氯化鋰形成的無 機固體電解質;膏狀電解質);及負極活性物質(鋰金屬 、合金、碳、電解液、聚丙傭睛等的商分子負極材料);
