Abstract

Description

可固化丙烯酸組合物、丙烯酸膠帶、丙烯酸橡膠滾輪及用於製備該丙烯酸橡膠滾輪之方法
本發明係關於一種可固化丙烯酸組合物、一種丙烯酸膠帶、一種丙烯酸橡膠滾輪及一種用於製備該丙烯酸橡膠滾輪之方法。
目前,除塵膠帶及橡膠滾輪(亦稱作棉絨滾輪)可用於清潔各種表面。拋棄式除塵膠帶及橡膠滾輪使用容易但成本相對較高。可重複使用且可水洗之除塵橡膠滾輪在對價格敏感且具有環保意識之消費者中已變得愈加流行。市場中大部分可水洗之黏著清潔滾輪係由諸如天然橡膠、合成橡膠、矽膠或PVC之基底材料組成,其中自黏著彈性體材料充當黏著層且大部分表面為疏水性的,在僅用水清潔時導致不令人不滿意的結果,在清潔滾輪時需要清潔劑或熱水以減小表面摩擦。此外,許多清潔劑在本質上為鹼性或酸性且長期使用將對黏著表面造成損害。因此,使用較少或根本不使用清潔劑將更符合綠色、環境保護之理念,且用手接觸起來更安全。另外,大部分市售之可洗滾輪特徵在於表面摩擦大及滾動困難,且因此難以得到令人滿意的清潔,或甚至可能會造成滾輪之支撐軸的脫離或斷裂,從而影響效能。
為解決現存技術問題,揭示一種可固化丙烯酸組合物,及一種由可固化丙烯酸組合物製得之丙烯酸膠帶,及包括該丙烯酸膠帶之丙烯酸橡膠滾輪,其中,該丙烯酸橡膠滾輪在用清潔的水而不用清潔劑洗滌時可恢復其黏著力,且特徵在於極好的清潔能力及可洗性。
與習知的可重複使用且可洗之橡膠滾輪相比,本發明之實施例具有很大優勢。該丙烯酸橡膠滾輪在直接用清潔的水而不用清潔劑洗滌時可恢復其黏著力,且特徵在於極好的清潔能力及可洗性、容易清潔軟表面及移除附著於家用紡織產品之軟表面的棉絨、頭皮屑、灰塵、線頭等,因此降低清潔家用紡織產品(尤其是衣服)之頻率。特定益處在於,在所揭示之丙烯酸橡膠滾輪中,表面在曝露於水時會失去黏著力並變得光滑,且可用水而不用清潔劑容易地移除附著於表面之污跡,且在移除表面上之水分之後丙烯酸組合物可恢復其黏度且可再使用,從而減少環境污染。在經再使用多次之後,丙烯酸橡膠滾輪仍具備良好黏著力及橡膠表面外觀,其中橡膠表面與附接之塑膠滾輪良好地結合,且橡膠表面在用水洗滌時不太可能會脫離。
在一個實施例中,提供一種可固化丙烯酸組合物,其包含50-77wt%丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、2-10wt%丙烯酸、20-40wt%丙烯酸2-羥乙酯、0.1-0.5wt%固化劑及0.1-0.2wt%光引發劑。

在一個實施例中,丙烯酸組合物可塗覆於滾輪上,且隨後經交聯及固化以形成用於清潔家用紡織產品之表面的丙烯酸橡膠滾輪。
實例
本發明之實施例由(但不限於)以下實施例描述。
實施例及比較例中所用之典型原料如下所列:
實施例1
按顯示於表1中之比率均勻混合2-EHA、AA、HEA、固化劑HDDA及光引發劑Irgacure 651以獲得可固化丙烯酸組合物。具體言之,在室溫下將包括2-EHA、AA、HEA及固化劑HDDA之液體原料傾倒至玻璃容器內,用攪拌器以恆定速度攪拌該等材料,隨後添加光引發劑Irgacure 651粉末並繼續以恆定速度攪拌該等材料直至光引發劑Irgacure 651完全溶解。
用UV燈使丙烯酸組合物固化並交聯且確保式中之單體的交聯反應為澈底的以形成丙烯酸膠帶。
將丙烯酸膠帶模型切割成塑膠橡膠滾輪軸之尺寸,且將該丙烯酸膠帶均勻無氣泡地黏附至可自由旋轉的橡膠滾輪以便形成可用於移除灰塵及棉絨之丙烯酸橡膠滾輪。
比較例1-2
可固化丙烯酸組合物可用實施例1中之相同方法來製備。不同點在於改變如顯示於表1中的2-EHA、AA及HEA之比率。用使用實施例1中之相同方法製備的可固化丙烯酸組合物製備丙烯酸膠帶及丙烯酸橡膠滾輪。
實施例2-4
使用實施例1中之相同方法製備可固化丙烯酸組合物。不同點在於改變如顯示於表1中的2-EHA、AAHEA之比率。用使用實施例1中之相同方法製備的可固化丙烯酸組合物製備丙烯酸膠帶及丙烯酸橡膠滾輪。
測試在實施例及比較例中製備之丙烯酸膠帶及丙烯酸橡膠滾輪。測試方法如下:
洗滌測試方法:
選擇適量棉絨且將該棉絨置放於平坦表面上。輕輕地以棉絨接觸所測試之新鮮橡膠表面,且隨後將樣品快速提起。觀測棉絨是否容易由橡膠樣品捕取。
將現已黏附有棉絨之橡膠樣品置於水龍頭下且用緩慢流動之水洗滌橡膠表面,輕輕地用手指將棉絨自黏著表面擦去。使洗滌時間控制在15秒或更短時間。關閉水龍頭並觀測是否有任何棉絨殘留於黏著表面上。
自此測試獲得之結果顯示於表2中。
初始黏著力測試方法:
參照G1 ASTM D6195關於初始黏著力測試方法之標準。樣品包括新鮮橡膠樣品及經浸泡之橡膠樣品。製備經浸泡之樣品之方法為將整個橡膠樣品浸泡於清潔的水中且於浸泡30分鐘後移出。將橡膠樣品置放於在22℃下且濕度為50%之室中直至橡膠樣品完全乾燥可用於測試。
自此測試獲得之結果顯示於表3中。
在可洗橡膠滾輪之實際應用中,初始黏著力為指示滾輪效能之最直接指數之一。由於使用中涉及諸如洗滌及可再用性之概念,因此經浸泡之橡膠樣品之初始黏著力保持亦為重要的。根據對新鮮樣品及經浸泡之樣品之初始黏著力測試,可模擬可洗橡膠滾輪在實際應用中之效能。
在實際應用中,太大或太小之初始黏著力將會影響實際使用效果。根據測試結果,對於新鮮樣品及經浸泡之樣品來說,實施例-1、實施例-2及實施例-3具有極好的初始黏著力保持、洗滌測試結果及初始黏著力測試結果。
可洗性測試:
測試樣品量測為1吋乘8吋且由標準灰塵覆蓋。用手以流動的水洗滌樣品約15秒,隨後輕輕地搖晃掉小水滴,且使樣品在22℃且50% 相對濕度環境中靜置一分鐘。隨後重複此等步驟(除塵、清潔及沖洗)150次,之後使其乾燥5分鐘。隨後,根據G1 ASTM D6195對實施例-1、比較例-1及競爭產品(競爭產品大部分藉由用模具將諸如合成橡膠、聚胺基甲酸酯及矽膠之彈性材料鑄造於塑膠滾輪軸上而製成,且具有諸如黏性棉絨滾輪(Sticky Lint Roller)及棉絨清潔器(Lint Cleaner)等之名稱)進行測試。
在150次循環之後,實施例-1之初始黏著力保持近乎相同,而競爭產品之初始黏著力下降約50%。另外,實施例-1之橡膠膠帶之初始黏著力比競爭產品之初始黏著力大出約4倍。本發明之實施例之橡膠膠帶對於諸如灰塵及棉絨之黏附污跡具有持久清潔能力。與實施例-1相比,比較例-1之可洗性數據輕微下降。
黏著力恢復時間測試
橡膠滾輪之滾輪直徑為56mm且滾輪長為98mm。洗滌之後的自然乾燥時間為橡膠滾輪之黏著力恢復時間。
在表5中,1號-5號為實施例1之5次取樣測試結果。
在實際應用期間,消費者在橡膠膠帶表面半乾之後約1至3分鐘後可再次使用橡膠膠帶。黏著力足以移除諸如棉絨之污跡。橡膠膠帶可在橡膠表面完全乾燥之前使用。用一塊不會留下碎屑之軟布或紙擦掉水滴以加速橡膠表面之黏著力恢復。
對洗滌難度之測試結果

Claims (12)

  1. 一種可固化丙烯酸組合物,其包含50-77wt%丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、2-10wt%丙烯酸、20-40wt%丙烯酸2-羥乙酯、0.1-0.5wt%固化劑及0.1-0.2wt%光引發劑。
  2. 如請求項1之丙烯酸組合物,其中該固化劑包含雙官能丙烯酸酯。
  3. 如請求項1之丙烯酸組合物,其中該光引發劑包含2,2-二甲氧基-苯基酮。
  4. 如請求項2之丙烯酸組合物,其中該雙官能丙烯酸酯包含HDDA或TPGDA。
  5. 如請求項1至4中任一項之丙烯酸組合物,其中該丙烯酸組合物亦包含防腐劑、抗菌劑、調味劑、塑化劑及煙霧狀二氧化矽中之一或多者。
  6. 一種丙烯酸膠帶,其藉由使如請求項1之丙烯酸組合物固化而形成。
  7. 如請求項6之丙烯酸膠帶,其中該固化包含紫外(UV)光聚合。
  8. 一種丙烯酸橡膠滾輪,其包含滾輪及包覆於該滾輪上的如請求項6之丙烯酸膠帶。
  9. 一種用於製備丙烯酸橡膠滾輪之方法,其包含:在室溫下混合並攪拌50-77wt%丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、2-10wt%丙烯酸、20-40wt%丙烯酸2-羥乙酯及0.1-0.5wt%固化劑;添加0.1-0.2wt%光引發劑至該混合物中,且繼續攪拌直至該光引發劑充分溶解以便形成該丙烯酸組合物;用UV光照射該丙烯酸組合物以使其交聯並固化以便獲得丙烯酸膠帶; 根據塑膠橡膠滾輪軸之尺寸切割丙烯酸膠帶模型,且將該丙烯酸膠帶均勻同時避免氣泡地黏附至該可自由旋轉之橡膠滾輪上以獲得該丙烯酸橡膠滾輪。
  10. 如請求項9之用於製備丙烯酸橡膠滾輪之方法,其另外包含:在用UV光照射該丙烯酸組合物之前,向該丙烯酸組合物中添加防腐劑、抗菌劑、調味劑、塑化劑及煙霧狀二氧化矽中之一或多者。
  11. 如請求項9之用於製備丙烯酸橡膠滾輪之方法,其中該固化劑亦包含雙官能丙烯酸酯。
  12. 如請求項9之用於製備丙烯酸橡膠滾輪之方法,其中該光引發劑包含2,2-二甲氧基-苯基酮。
